I wish they'd change the way their menu looks because their atmosphere is very trendy and modern while the menu looks like you're in a Dairy Queen. Their burgers are very good, but are monumentally large! Be prepared to go home with a portion large enough for an entire meal. That being said, the food is solid. The meat is well-cooked, well-seasoned, and plentiful. Their buns are homemade, which is impressive! Their tots and onion rings were perfect. This location is family-owned and the daughter of the gentleman who owns the company was extremely friendly and proud of what they have built. Joy Love isn't the best out there, but I am happy to visit again when I'm feeling extra gluttonous. read more

Me and the oldest wanted to try a new place for dinner, and we hadn't yet stopped in here. I ordered the bacon avocado burger with sweet potato fries, and she got the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. Then we also got a side of onion rings, because I do love me some onion rings. :) We were here on a Friday night, and had to wait for a regular table. We sat at a cocktail table for a bit an hopped over to a booth when it opened. They were pretty busy! The burgers were pretty good. I wish they had a bit more sauce/moisture to them though- I had to add a little ketchup to get it right. My daughter liked hers and ate the whole thing. I only got about halfway through mine. It was big! The sides were not great though. She said her regular fries were good, but my sweet potato fries were nothing special. And I had to ask twice for ranch to actually get some. The onion rings tasted like they just came out of a bag. They were also a bit too well done and the batter overtook the onions- it was way too thick. This place is good but I think it is better than the credit I am going to give them. My friend and I took the food To-go and I believe this may have been the issue. I ordered the buffalo chicken strips along with fried Oreos and Bavarian cream stuffed churros. Yes all of it was delicious but the chicken strips were kind of cold and weren't as crispy, I felt like if they were left in the fryer a little bit longer then they would've been perfect. Same goes for the fried Oreos, I really wanted just a tad bit more crisp on it. Over all the food was actually good. My friend got the bacon avocado burger with chili-cheese fries and he had the same reaction as me. Everything was just good nothing amazed us. I saw the menu and expected a lot of good things, but it was just decent. Maybe if we go again I'd eat inside and see for myself how good it is. Almost a 5 as it was a big and good burger, and the onion rings could make a meal by themselves We are retired and don't eat big meals, so we split the bacon cheeseburger and could almost split them again. The best burgers out there in the Katy/Houston area hands down. They are super big but they pop work flavor. You taste three meat in every bite which does not happen everywhere and their meat taste like it came right of the grill your father was working. All their toppings are fresh and the bun seriously puts this burger over there top. They've got some of the best fries or there and I'm not sure if this was just a little something extra but they threw in a fried Oreo and man I'm glad they did. You'll notice though, while this place, menu wise is just like the Joy Love Burger on Mason they go by JLB Eatery. If is a lot more fancy on there inside with plenty of places to sit down and eat but their prices are far higher than on Mason. Another hole in the wall place that you must stop by and try!!! Our first time here and oh yeah we will be back again. Place is super clean and the staff is friendly and funny. Lots of selections to choose from, it was hard to make a choice. We decided to try the avocado burger combo and the shrimp quesadilla. These are no small portions trust me you will not walk out hungry. Burger was very good probably the best I have tasted in the local Fulshear area. We ate the fries while driving home, so we can attest that they were well-cooked, flavorful, and crispy. The burger portions are huge and justify the prices (and they're not that expensive!). The bun and meat ratio were well-proportioned. My husband's meat patty was a little dry for him but still tasty. However, each individual has their preference, and he just likes his more medium. The fries weren't great, but wish I had ordered the curly fries. The wait after order was less than 10 minutes and the food was still good after getting it home which isn't the case.
