His price was about $500-$1000 cheaper than local competitors. With good pricing and probably the best yelp reviews I decided to go with him. Installation was about a week later. The installer came around 11am and took about 8 hours to install the entire system. His install time too longer than originally quoted but I'm glad he took his time and didn't miss any steps. When it was all done he educated me on the entire system. It's pretty much a set it and forget it system except for maintaining certain salt levels. Within days I felt the difference in my skin. I came away from our conversation feeling like he was someone I could trust. Then Mario came out to do the installation, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. Mario was incredible. Our installation turned out to be more complicated than expected. The location we originally thought would work would have softened the water going to the outdoor hose bibs as well, which I specifically did not want because I use that water for my trees and landscaping. Mario caught this before doing the installation. Instead of just installing it where we originally planned and moving on, he stopped, explained exactly what he was seeing, and helped me figure out a better solution. He found another possible water line at the back of the house and told me he could test it first. He even reassured me that if we cut into the pipe and discovered that the plumbing wasn't routed the way we hoped, he would put everything back the way it was and wouldn't charge me for an installation that didn't work. That gave me a lot of confidence. We tested the line, and fortunately it turned out to be perfect. Within about 15 minutes, Mario was able to demonstrate exactly how the plumbing was divided: this line supplied the inside of the house, while the other line also supplied the outdoor hose bibs. That meant we could soften the entire house while leaving the outdoor water untreated, exactly how I wanted it. Mario was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and just genuinely pleasant to work with. He could have easily taken the faster route, but instead he took the time to make sure the system was installed correctly for my house and my needs. That kind of attention and integrity is something I really appreciate. We…read morehave had our system for almost 10 years, we bought our replacement under sink drinking system filters exclusively from this company year after year and my husband has installed it himself with no issues every year since. In 2023, we ordered replacement filters for our drinking system which they then charged $35 for FedEx overnight. After a week, we hadn't received anything, I called to check the status. Whoops! "the manager forgot to send it out" with just an apology, no offer to refund the shipping or even a credit for a future order. Since then we have been buying the same filters, but from a different water company with zero issues. This past order, the water pressure was super low after replacement. My husband trouble-shot the issue himself, trying a couple different things to no avail. Called in for some tech support, no answer. I surprisingly received a call back, but your rep's attitude did a complete 180 after she realized it was a request for help and not a sale. Ashley was completely rude, snarky and had the most condescending tone. She customer blamed us for one thing after another: We didn't pressurize the tank after we replaced the filters (never did this before in 10 years with zero issues), it then turned into our fault for buying "generic" filters. No! We are buying Kinetico filters, just no longer from your rip-off, scammy company. She tried to tell us we needed another filter that was going to be $500 even though that particular filter should still be covered under warranty within the 10 years which she even confirmed we haven't reached the 10 years yet. Then it was, we can send a tech out, but it'll be $200 just to look at it. What a joke! Her attitude was so abhorrent, I had to walk away and let my husband take over the call. Apparently she must be the same person that other Yelpers have complained about as well. Guess what else? In the 10 years we have had our whole house water softener system, it has been serviced twice. They used to call with a reminder and to schedule, but no more since Don left and no offer from Ashley. I'm pretty sure they do this on purpose to put you out of your warranty. This is our forewarning, don't even bother with this company, seriously! Look elsewhere. Absolutely zero service after the sale, no follow up from any manager or the owner. They just don't care once they take your money. We will continue to buy our filters elsewhere and self install so we can avoid giving this greedy company any more money. Then when this system is done, we will be shopping elsewhere for all our future water/drinking system needs.
