The food is not as good as the reviews make it sound. I asked about ingredients in their pad Thai and they said they use a bottle from the Asian market so they are not sure what is in it. Their vegetable spring rolls are soggy and have so little filling and taste it is like chewing on rubber. Their curry was ok but far from great. I wanted to like this because I love small buffets that make a small number of quality dishes. I would rather go to one of those buffets over a huge buffet with 100+ items that are bad/mediocre. Based on the reviews here, I was very hopeful. I came here on a weekday lunch after working a long night shift, so I was very excited. When I arrived, there was only one party of 3 or 4 eating there. The buffet was small and looked so depressing. There was so little amount of food per dish that I decided to pass on the buffet. I understand that with so few people eating, why have a fully stocked buffet? But that also means I was skeptical about how long that food was sitting out there. The trays had so little food in there that I thought they were closing down. I ended up ordering off the regular menu which was very limited. I ended up ordering fried rice was very bland and did not taste Thai at all. I think it was really overpriced for $9. I ended up bringing 2/3 of it home. I never really brought myself to finish it though. I do think that this place has excellent service though. I asked if pineapple was in the fried rice, but it wasn't, so they customized my order for me. I really appreciated their friendliness as well. This was my second time visit. First time it was an expansion, they recently expand their restaurant. They are always look clean, take care of around the buffet tables. I always satisfy after I dine here. Foods are of course good but ladies who works over here are really nice! Ladies who works here are always smiley and welcome you. They take care of you when your glass gets empty or when your plates get done they will clean up from your table before you come back from getting your another plate. I love their chicken stick and I tried little spicy chicken cake! They are AWESOME!!! They cook their foods fresh all the time so they don't set their on their buffet table. My friend and I have been faithful customers for the last couple of years. We noticed this past year that service has become VERY slow if you're ordering take out. It's not unusual to wait more than 30 minutes and it doesn't matter what time of day. We've tried calling in the order and that is never ready when we get there. Holy heck is this place good! Small buffet, but the perfect variety. Super authentic Thai. If you enjoy Thai food this place has anything and everything you could want! Our kids loved the selection as well, paid Thai noodles, chicken satay, and dim sum were their favorites. Service was impeccable and the place is very clean, food is fresh and hot, and price can't be beat. You can also get the buffet to go by the pound which is awesome and very reasonable! The service here is so friendly - that's part of the reason why we keep coming back. That, and the fact that we can pick our favorites from their buffet (the buffet is small, but the items are refilled frequently so everything is kept hot and fresh). I didn't have much experience with Thai food before my husband and I ate here the first time, so we figured a buffet would give me several options to try and see what I liked. I quickly found out that the Pad Thai here is my favorite thing! I could eat a big plate of that and be totally satisfied. I also got to try Yellow Curry for the first time (I know, I sound sheltered lol) and loved it. For dessert I always like to mix the bananas in coconut milk with the tapioca dessert - trust me, it's good. I like that I leave here full, but not weighed down - it's filling without being heavy, even the fried items. The flavors are just so good, I love visiting JK's! Buffet is amazing. Not the largest, but everything on it is great and it is prepared in small batches so you know it is hot and fresh. Unless you have a rude person who takes a huge portion (including the last of an item), there is always something to satisfy. The owner is sweet as can be and knows half the people by name if you have ever introduced yourself. My son and I go at least once a week, and we don't eat out much. Great stuff. read more

This is the best idea ever! Thai food variety where you can taste several things in the same visit. The curry fish was just spicy enough and really creamy. I enjoyed the lettuce wraps with the fresh veggies. I had never had any desserts in thai food world but they were so yummy! Bananas in a sweet cream and sweet rice pillows. This place has incredible Thai food! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Tulsa, OK area or within a 60 minute drive. The buffet is small, but most everythingg on it is very good. I had the Thai Tea, my first time, it was amazing! I asked what drinks they had, they told me, when I heard the Thai Tea, I was like, "what is that like?" They explained it, I said I would lIke to try it to see if I i like it, so she brought me out a small sample to try, after I said I liked it, shE brought me outt a large glass full. Being able to try it first was nice, so if I didnt like it, I wasn't going to have to pay for a large glass of something I couldn't or wouldn't drink. read more

Thanks to a fellow Yelper friend's review we decided to check this place out and glad we did. My family enjoyed our experience here and the local feel of it. This is one of those places you go for the food and the people, some of the best food is found in divey looking places like this one. The staff here is so friendly; always refilling your drink and checking if you need anything. Love the concept of small buffet, but really quality food. They cook in small batches so everything we ate was constantly hot and fresh; no food sitting on a line forever and wondering how old it is. One of my favorites was the chicken satay, so flavorful, tender and I didn't even use the peanut sauce. My 9 year old loved the Pad Thai and dumplings. JKs is our favorite restaurant to go to as a family. It's in a horrible strip mall between a wig shop and a gas station. The atmosphere inside is kind of worn out. None of this matters. The food is absolutely amazing! The basil beef, coconut chicken soup and spring rolls are must haves. The mixed cucumber and carrow salad is also very good. Overall it's excellent food and the service is also. The location is gritty but not dangerous, it's just a worn out strip mall with JKs being the diamond in he rough. I couldn't recommend this place more. When people ask our favorite Tulsa restaurant we reply with flourish, " It's called JK's, it's between a wig shop and a gas station and you gotta go!" It's fun for both Lunch and Dinner. My kids always get the chicken Satay which they call, chicken on a stick. I literally have their bumper sticker on my car. If there was a temporary tattoo I'd probably rock it too. read more

I love their food. Unfortunately they randomly changed their hours and now you can't eat there after 7pm. We have picked up tabs for customers who dined and dashed numerous times and were turned away when we walked in at 7pm when they closed at 8pm. Wish they didn't change their hours. read more

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs. Their buffet has an excellent selection of Thai dishes. I love the peanut sauce. They have a variety of gluten free options as well! The food is alway hot and fresh which means if it's not busy you may have to wait a minute or two for your favorite dish. For the past year I have been searching for really good Thai food places, but here in broken arrow there is a Thai food buffet with great customer service, food is top quality, seating is a little limited for now, but they are expanding very soon!! Every time my partner, his mom and I go in we are greeted with a nice smile and very welcoming. They always ask how we are doing, they try to keep up to date with all there customers. My partner and I recently went on a round trip to California and back. We visited Thai town there with a friend. The food there was okay nothing really special. So coming back to broken arrow and having JK THAI BUFFET we soon realize how much we missed our home Thai food. The owner of the restaurant knows us very well, always remembers what we like to drink. We told her about our experience going to Thai town, and she was very happy to to hear that her restaurant brings us back and happy. I'm reluctant to eat at Asian buffets because I've been to too many bad ones. This buffet is modest, probably offering about 10 different main dishes: they offer two soups consistently, a noodle dish, satay, pad grow paw, and a few other items that rotate through. Everything is prepared fairly fresh for a buffet; they make small batches of food as they begin to run out. It's owned and operated by a friendly Thai family. Mostly Chicken prepared dishes. I can almost taste Garlic on every food. I love garlic but this is all too Garlicky. The good thing about their food is that they are all freshly made.
