But CARMAX didn't flinch when providing an online offer so I took it in, expecting they would lowball it, which they did: by 1/3. However, some inconsistencies were reported by the agency, reflecting odometer tampering, battery & tires purchase dates, that were bringing down the price. Jose, at the Independence store gave me a number to call and see if the agency could match the information could explain so it could be updated before COB. Agency said it would take 3 hours, already 2:30, so it would be close. Long story short, the agency came through (I didn't have to spend the night in the store, as I had decided to stay until the items were updated). The final check was just what I was quoted on the CARMAX site. I knew what my car's value was. It was PERFECT and the store could set it out on the lot without touching up anything! EVERYONE, whether selling outright, or trading, should read carefully the details on the printed estimate that can bring a car's price down several thousand dollars. I ended up walking out with a check a few hundred less than the original online offer. My wife and I have purchased 2 cars from Todd at Cars Plus and have nothing but praise for the company's customer service. When buying a used car, there can always be some unexpected surprises after purchase but when these have occurred not once has Todd said "You bought it as is. It's your problem now." When we encountered a concern on the first car we purchased I called Todd and explained what was going on: his response, "Take it to any shop you trust, have it repaired and send me the bill." We did just that and the bill was paid within a few days after the work was completed. We live approximately 70 miles from the Cars Plus location and gladly drive that distance to do business with Todd. I am taking my grandson there this week to purchase a car; if I didn't trust the company and the man behind the company I certainly would not be taking anyone there especially a family member!

I discovered HAWK Auto as I was looking for a used hybrid sedan online and found a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid in excellent condition. I called the number listed in the ad and Sean (co-owner) responded to my voicemail within the day. I must admit, at first I was hesitant about this dealership which was simply warranted by appearances of the facility, which are rugged and more shop-oriented. However, the associates and owners at HAWK have a high level of integrity which is shown through their excellent customer service, the quality of vehicles they choose to carry, the extremely high level of product knowledge, and their desire to build relationships with each of their customers. Sean & Mario both were willing to spend the required time with my wife & I to ensure our questions were fully satisfied and that we were comfortable with the transaction. At no time did we feel pressured to make a purchase, nor were we made to feel like we were a burden when our due diligence took longer than might be typical. My experience listed here is most definitely worthy of a high review, but the extra-ordinary aspect of my experience with HAWK comes in to play several months following the purchase of the vehicle. The title of the purchased vehicle was delivered via certified mail the very week I was moving houses and tragically became misplaced. After months of looking through papers & boxes, we deemed the title lost. Unfortunately, the vehicle had not been registered and now we had to get a replacement title. After contacting the DOT, the insurance company and the lien holder, all counsel suggested the dealer would have to request a replacement title. What made this extremely difficult was HAWK purchased the vehicle through an auction house in GA, who purchased the vehicle from a leasing agent in FL. Each transfer in ownership was hand-written on the title, so the last recorded registration was still in FL. In order to get the replacement title, Sean was required to spend a tremendous amount of time researching, tracking down involved parties, and initiating on my behalf the request for replacement title. This process spanned many months, involving multiple hours of work on HAWK's part in order to remedy the issue, and Sean was always quick to respond and very professional with each correspondence. At no time was I ever made to feel like I was a nuisance or inconvenience, which I know this issue must have been a large source of frustration for Sean. I do not know of many used dealers that would have put in the time and effort for a single customer who had already made a purchase. This, to me, goes way above and beyond the typical expectations of a used dealer and Sean has demonstrated his dedication to me as a customer. For that I cannot give him a high enough rating and I will always go to HAWK Auto for all of my used vehicle needs in the future.

The new owners are very polite, and go out of their way to try and make every financial situation work in terms of being financed. I was worried coming in that my credit score was too low to be approved, but with my down payment and my trade they were able to play with the numbers and make it work! I just wanted to say thank you for getting me into a nicer vehicle than anyone else would have been able to get me into. I will definitely refer all my friends to Noland Road Auto Credit. Plus, they offer a $300 referral award for anyone you refer that purchases a vehicle! I've never heard of that anywhere else!
