Been here a couple of times for an oil change. They're quick and cheap. They are also honest and are knowledgeable. Had a problem where my car's windows would roll down when parked; they immediately knew the issue but were unable to fix it because it's something only the dealership can fix (no big deal). Came back another time to figure out why my car was making some weird noises and vibrations when braking (I knew it had something to do with the brake pads). They did a quick test drive and immediately knew the issue. Brake pads were done for and damaged the rotor. They offered to provide brake pads but I already purchased them beforehand. The only thing I didn't have was a rotor replacement but they quickly ordered one and had it delivered and installed within hours. All that plus oil change coated $180 which is not bad. One con of this place is that it is very tight. It's bad when there are a lot of customers. I had to wait a long time after my car was done to move it out because customers keep coming and blocking the exit. At the very least they do things quickly and know how to manage the cars coming in and going out. The other con is that they only take cash so before you go in for a repair, make sure you have enough cash. I was worried I didn't have enough cash in hand to pay for the repair, but luckily the quoted price wasn't bad. Would recommend this place. read more

I brought our car in for an oil leak. The mechanic was very helpful and gave a great price. We had gone to probably every mechanic in the city and only one other person told us, with a dye, where it exactly was coming from. Every other mechanic either tried to replace the whole timing belt system for no reason or the pan with the gasket... which the only problem was the gasket. This was the only mechanic in this bloody neighborhood to say what it was and he gave us the best price. He fixed it, and after fixing it, another part leaked from the work they did. This place is 20 miles away from my home, went there after a friend insisted I should give them a try, she has been going there for 4 years, now I would too. Called ahead and the rates estimated were literally jaw dropping, half of what others told me. My car's alternator, and both front axles were replaced at unbelievable low price. They looked into other issues that were going on with the engine and topped up oil and coolant for a minimal charge. The place is superbusy, don't plan on waiting there, ask them the estimated time for servicing and return later to pick your vehicle. Truly a good experience, time after time. I never feel cheated. He IS super busy because he's good and a decent person. In return, customers need to have good attitude and be patient. He'll take care of you quickly if he can and if he can't, he'll tell you why as soon as he can. I've had 2 cars serviced by Johnny and his team. Always a good, complete job each time and fair prices. I use to come to Johnny regularly whenever I had issues with my car, but after the last few visits, I am done. I went in because I needed to have my brake pads and/or rotors resurfaced. Johnny quoted me $120.00 (and of course it's cash only), which I thought was fine. I picked up the car and everything was fine, however, the next morning and every morning after that, there has been a loud horn type sound every time I step on the brakes. It is typically when it's cold in the morning when this sound occurs and I don't hear it after a few minutes of driving. It doesn't seem to me like he changed anything and when I went to bring it back in, he had one of his workers talk to me and refused to fix it. I realized, I would always ask about what they did, and Johnny was always short with me, never really explaining the work they do when I pick up my car. This auto repair shop is honest and so efficient! I went in to have my brakes checked as they were squealing every time I braked, and after I pulled in, they propped up my car to check the brakes while I was right there and showed me that my brake pads had been completely worn down and what new ones looked like. I was given a quote at that very moment by Johnny, and I also asked them to check my brake fluid because Firestone had previously told me that it needed to be changed ASAP. I left my car there for two hours, when I got back my brake pads were changed and I was told that my brake fluid was fine and didn't need changing or refilling so I was only charged for the brake pads. I really appreciate the honesty there, because they could have easily made business off of me for the brake fluid but didn't. I will definitely be coming back. Parking is VERY tight here and hard to get your car in their lot if there isn't an opening. Also, they only take cash or check, so remember to bring your cash or checkbook! read more

This place is easy to find since it's on the corner of Bolsa and Newland. The service is great because I immediately was asked if I needed help even though everyone was having lunch when I came. This would be my second time here and both times the boss has been trustworthy and helped me save lots of money. 1st visit: transmission issue The boss told me to go to my dealer since it's cheaper that way especially if I still have warrantee on my car. I had no idea about this. I've went to at least two places before I found out about this place and they never told me about it at all. Price quote that each place have me was over $2,000 for a normal transmission issue and majority of that price goes towards labor. I repeat...over $2000!!!!! They didn't care about honesty but just about making money!! So I ended up taking that advice and paid $0 for my Chevy dealer service which also paid for my car rental. I repeat $0!!! 2nd visit was today: After driving my car around Johnny the boss said there was nothing wrong with my car. So both times I spend $0. He didn't lie to me and didn't try to make money off of me and was honest with me so it's definitely a place to go to if you want honest service.
