After reviewing a few companies on Yelp, I felt the need to call. Francisco answered the phone and listened to what I was experiencing with the AC. I booked an appointment for the next morning. The shop was busy and I waited my turn in line. A few of the customers that I saw coming in had been in before for other reasons and obviously had a positive experience because they felt like they knew Alba and Francisco really well and trusted the team. Within a few minutes, my car was being looked at. I took a walk around the park, which is very close by and came back in 30 minutes and they assessed that I need a new compressor. Luckily, before I got back, Alba had already ordered it, and it was on its way taking about 30 minutes to get there. A price was quoted, and it was fair and reasonable. Because it was gonna take a few hours, my wife picked me up and we ran some errands. I received a call and it was from Alba around noon. He said they installed the new one and took it for a test drive. It worked good for a few minutes then stopped. He assess the problems already ordered a new one and said he'll have it done before the end of the day. I received a call around three saying the car will be done by four so at 3:30 I headed to the shop. The car was waiting for me out front. Alba took the time to explain what it happened. He also went above and changed many of the fittings as he seen problems with them before. He even changed one of the belts that control the compressor at no charge. Alba and his team are truly a rare find. Noticing all the workers were always engaged and working. They really have a good team. Well, in the lobby, there was a sign on the wall I read I wish I took a picture of it, but I didn't. It spoke to listen to the customer write down the problem. Assess the situation and determine the solution and communication with the customer. You can tell that this establishment embodies that culture. What really stood out was overhearing how he treated other customers while I waited. I was really stressed because I couldn't afford the repair out of pocket, but they were incredibly helpful and told me about Technet, a credit card specifically for auto repairs. I applied and was instantly approved. They even fixed my car and waited for my card to arrive in the mail before I paid them in full. What really stood out to me was how kind and patient everyone was. They explained everything clearly, what the problem was, what caused it, and how they were going to fix it. They even paid for my Uber rides to the shop and from work while my car was in the shop, with no extra charge. It's hard to find honest and caring auto shops, especially when you don't know much about cars, but they made the whole experience so much less stressful. I was promised completion Thursday, then Friday -- and late Thursday was told they'd broken a turbo-related component during the repair (which they acknowledged and said they'd cover). Then the replacement part turned out to be wrong for my VIN. Because of the repeated delays I had to change my Orlando flight at a cost of about $1,300, and my brother's plans to use the car for his engagement proposal that weekend fell through entirely. Nearly two weeks after drop-off, I finally picked up the car and paid over $9,000. They'd knocked off a few hundred dollars and thrown in a free detail/engine steam clean I never asked for -- not what I wanted. I asked for a $1,000 adjustment given everything I'd been through; they offered $250 and wouldn't budge. I got in the car to leave and the check-engine light came on immediately. They first told me that was "impossible," then hooked it up to diagnostics and said they needed to keep it again. During this conversation I was told "facts don't care about feelings" when I explained how poorly I felt treated. They ultimately claimed a separate, pre-existing oil-wicking issue in the wiring harness/PCM -- unrelated to what they broke -- despite having driven my car roughly 50 miles during their "verification," and despite the light being off when I dropped the car off. They encouraged me to get a second opinion. I did -- Beach Benz reviewed the paperwork and flagged concerns before even inspecting the car. Bottom line: broken part, blown deadlines, a very expensive travel disruption, $9k+ paid, and I still drove away with a check-engine light and an unresolved problem. I won't be back.

He always charged me a fair price which is why I respect him a lot. I've never had a BS service recommended by him. Everything is "hey, look at this" or "this is what is wrong".
