    Coffee

Left my phone inside. It was just sitting on the counter. Evey helped me find it. Great customer service. Fruit does not belong in coffee. keep it dark. ( pic taken in bimmer btw)

Actually the best offer shop I have ever been too! Main reason is the atmosphere The Manager, darn forgot his name is one outstanding guy. The best soy cinnamon latte I have ever enjoyed in my nationwide travels. When in Athens for my dogs cancer treatment at UGA Animal Hospital this is now my stop! Cannot go wrong here.

    Lemon freeze

My daughter, who goes to UGA, recommended coming here for a quick drink before driving home. It was Labor Day so we thought most of the students would be away, but when we entered the restaurant there were no seats available on a hot day other than outdoor seating. All the students were seated with their computers obviously doing homework with no intention to leave anytime soon. Not a good place to be if you want comfortable seating inside. Expect a lot of students hanging around. Staff was not exactly friendly either. When I asked for a Wi-Fi passcode they just handed me a slip and said nothing. My husband ordered the lemon freeze and it was OK, nothing special.

Wow I love this place. I have never been to a coffee shop that was so perfectly a coffee-shop vibe. The used books for sale, the smell of fresh ground beans, and people quietly typing reading chatting. The whole place made me want to curl up and read a good book. I had the mexican mocha which was great, tell them to make it extra hot. I went back another day (went there about three times in a three day trip) and had one the the steamers with peppermint. I had never had that and it was sooooo tasty. Bought a jar of ethopian blend coffee, and that too was great. Love this place!!!!

Iced coffee and chocolate chip cookie

Visited Jittery Joe's for the first time today, being new to town and looking for a chill coffeehouse to do some work. Ordered an iced coffee and a chocolate chip cookie, which were very reasonably priced, and tasty. The atmosphere was very nice, comfortable and great for studying or working, the barista friendly, and the wifi working great.

If I lived in Athens, I'd go everyday. Friendly staff, wifi, and delicious coffee all in a cozy shop. We go there whenever we're in Athens.

There might be a little bias options here since this joint is owned by his really good friend's granddaughter. But the fact it's local, I'm going to support it. Walking up, the espresso machine and register was set up outside. There's some remodeling going on so I didn't get the opportunity to see what the venue looks like inside. But outside is quite cute. I love the flowers surrounding the outside patio. A handful of sweet baristas were working. They all greeted us! I checked out the summer menu to see what kind of cool drinks they had. I got a vanilla oat milk matcha latte. My husband got a summer drink of the menu. It was a sparkling strawberry lemonade. My husband's lemonade was so good! I appreciate that real strawberry puree was used. It was sweet, tangy and bubbly! It was quite refreshing for a sweet drink. My matcha was balanced! There was a good amount of matcha to oat milk. I didn't quite taste the vanilla as much as I would have liked to. I did add some sugar to it when we stopped at the Waffle House. It tasted much better once the sugar was added. I'm already going to plan on coming back when we visit Athens again next year. I look forward to seeing the new remodel. And I look forward to potentially meeting the famous Molly that my father in law speaks ok. I enjoyed my matcha and it's great that I got to support a local joint while I was here.

Besides many confections offered here, you can also try their great variety of coffee drinks. Many of their products ingredients are sourced from Ecuador. CHOCO COFFEE: Their blend of "Choco Coffee," isn't named after chocolate coffee. Instead, it's named after Ecuadorian, Choco Toucan bird. I bought, "Comunidad Blend," to brew at home. I've already brewed couple of cups and OMG!!! It offers notes of Dark Chocolate, Pecans, Pink Grapefruit and Guava. As I've been sipping on it, its whole beans are washed, well balanced, offer rich and bold flavors. You can taste the home roots. PARKING: It can be tricky to get in here. It's located off busy, S. When we went the line was out the door as the customer area is tiny inside but it adds to the ambiance. We tried two pastries, can't recall the exact names - a peach and almond danish and a cinnamon bun. The peach danish but flaky and buttery. The peach flavor could have been a bit stronger but the danish was well made. The cinnamon bun was just live a cinnamon roll center without the icing but the custard in the middle was delicious. My visit was during the morning rush so there was a line to order but aside from it allowing me more time to choose my breakfast treats, I was also able to watch the baker pulling out fresh bread from the oven. It's truly a working bakery. The blue and white exterior is very eye catching as you arrive in the area and the warm natural color tones inside the bakery are soothing and elegant. The staff who took my order, as well as the one who made my coffee order, were very friendly and calm, despite having a decent line of eager customers hoping what they wanted wasn't taken by the customers before them. Tight quarters inside so not really a place to sit and savor your selections but they do have seating outside, in a patio area next door. If you purchase loaves of bread, you are able to have it sliced! I'm looking forward to trying the bread next time I'm in town. Definitely add this place to your next visit to Athens!
