Their BBQ fish is much better and cheaper than any other BBQ fish places that I have been to in Toronto. If we visit London again, we will definitely give it a try their all-you-can-eat hot pot.

*4.5* stars This…read morerestaurant has a very unique taste and dishes that aren't really seen anywhere else in the KW region (not that I'm aware of at least!) I saw it on Ubereats and saw there was a BOGO going on so I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised at the complexity and variety of dishes they had! If you crave Asian food, I definitely recommend this place. This place seems to primarily be for hotpot, but I can understand with covid it's harder to see that side right now. Nonetheless, they have many options outside their hotpot as well. I got the seafood with vermecilli noodles for my partner and a Mala spice with fish noodles for myself. The beef pho was a BOGO option so I got them for tomorrow's meal. (the BOGO list was quite limited). They were delicious and I found the portion sizing to be quite nice! The soup was very very flavorful and hits the spot. Again something that I haven't found in the KW area at all until now and would crave (since it can be found commonly back home in Toronto) Packaging, wait time and everything was fine. Why it's not a perfect score is because of its price point. It's a lot pricier than some other places. Their primary feature is hotpot and noodles. The hotpot options seemed fairly nice but there's also a few other hotpot places just around the corner too. With the noodles, you can get the same large portion (but different noodle type, same richness in broth though) for half the price that they set it at here. I personally see this place as somewhere I'd get ever so often, or special occasions only. For student prices, I'd probably look to go elsewhere. However, you can't deny how good their broth is, so it's not a big enough deal to knock off a star completely.

This is the best AYCE hot pot place in KW in my opinion. Even though the restaurant is slightly…read moreinconvenient, I always look forward to visiting. This is one of the rare late night grabs that is not fast food. Environment: Like I said, it is not the most convenient restaurant for students, but trust me, it is worth taking the trip. The restaurant does offer free parkings for those who drive. On the inside, the place looks like those traditionally looking Chinese restaurants. The ventilation is not the best, so wear something you don't mind getting dirty and getting smelly in. Food: AYCE hot pot. The price doesn't include lamb however, it costs extra. The beef, chicken, fried pastry 面筋 are my favorites. They make a lot of the ingredients themselves, so it's always fresh and they are super tasty. Their slushies are really good too and the portion is quite big. The price for hot pot includes tips and tax as long as you pay cash. Service: Yeah...this place is notorious for the bad attitude of the owner. He's manageable as long as you don't piss him offer. Don't mess with the heat setting and find someone who can speak Cantonese and you're good to go :P

Leung Yue Hot Pot on King is my "go-to" Chinese Hot Pot place in Kitchener. The restaurant is…read morelocated in the same location as the now defunct Castle on King Restaurant. For those who don't know what Hot Pot is, from Wikipedia: it consists "of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leafy vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, dumplings, and seafood. The cooked food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce. In many areas, hot pot meals are often eaten in the winter." When we go for Hot Pot at Leung Yue, we always go for the All-You-Can-Eat option, so that we can get more of our favourite items. The staff has always been friendly with us, and has always been helpful. We love the great ingredients for the Hot Pot, including beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, among many others, which are freshly prepared. As another reviewer also pointed out, because of the large amount of food, Hot Pot is best experienced with a large group of people. If you are open to new dining experiences and have never tried it, I heartily recommend it... it's a lot of fun!
