My wife and I were stranded in a LONG line at the Monroe fireworks at Sterling State campgrounds last night with my motorcycle that went black (no power) in the exit line and it was a GIANT pain, or at least about to be until the owner's son showed up with who I think was his wife. We learned later that he was there for the fireworks himself and driving out of the place as it was shutting down (due to an apparent accident where someone literally got ran over!). Learned that he was leaving to go retrieve a car somewhere and saw us standing by the bike in the dark basically trying to pop the clutch and get it started. He was very knowledgeable and super-supportive for us getting it jumped and up and running so we could get the heck out of that mess for sure! He was a humble and apparent hard working guy that had a sincere interest in getting us on the road and not just getting money (for a change, someone that is truly helpful)! The cost was $83 with our card and we fully intend to get reimbursed by AAA who basically refused our current so-called "roadside assistance" with this bike. My car would not start at the gas station, I-75, exit 11 by Monroe. I called AAA and they said they would send out someone from Jim's Towing. Less than 15 minutes later April called to tell me they were sending someone out. About 30 minutes later Luke showed up with the big rig! Luke apologized that he had to come from Toledo, very personable young man, we had a nice conversation. He got the car on the lift quickly. On the way home I needed to call my wife, couldn't remember her # for some reason, Luke stopped the truck and hopped up to fetch my phone from my car for me, and also grabbed my wallet for me! We got to my house, I asked him to pull back close to the pole barn, and I would turn it around and push it into the pole barn tomorrow. He says to me, "Let's do it now!" After taking the car off the flatbed, Luke helped me turn the car around and push it up an incline into the pole barn. Exceptional service with good cheer and good conversation! I highly, highly recommend Jims towing... I unfortunately locked my 3 month infant son in my car, with my keys rushing out the door. I called 911 & they informed me that if I had the fire department out, they'd break a window or I could call Jims towing & they will unlock your car for free in the event that you lock your infant in your car. I called & within 22 minutes they were out to my house & they were able to get my son out safely without having to break a window and they were extremely fast about getting him out... I am so incredibly thankful for Jim's towing & how fast they were able to get my sweet boy safely out of my car. Paying for them getting my son out would not have been an issue, however it's an extreme plus side that they don't charge to have your car unlocked in this scenario. read more

Jim's towing came to my rescue 3 times in 2023 after my Honda dealer refused to replace my battery and they had to recharge it to get it started. so when I got my golf cart caught on a stump in my backyard recently (yes I did that!), and after my elderly neighbor couldn't pull it off, I called Jim's Towing. I am handicapped and use my golf cart a LOT. It was almost dark, rain was coming overnight and I didn't want to leave my baby (golf cart) outside. They finished up what they were doing and came right over. I thought he would use his truck to lift it and set if off the stump, but this NICE young man picked it up in the back and set it off the stump and drove it to me! My wife nearly died when a drunk driver hit the car in front of her. Jim's Towing picked my car up, and mere days after the incident proceeded to threaten, bully, extort, and blackmail me. If I could give 0 stars, I would. These people are bullies, cheats, liars, and general scum. If you are ever in an accident, DO NOT allow this company to take care of your car. If they didn't have so much experience skirting the law, I would want to bring legal action against them.
