My boyfriend left my truck here for a week while we were out of town, for an entire week. I picked it up to no gas, trash and junk left inside, born my seats reclines like someone's been driving it and had the nerve to crash into something and not mention it. O would give a zero if I could. My car was in an accident. My ins reccomended this facility. They towed my car and were supposed to get me an estimate on repairs. A week goes by no update. I called and they said would be a few more days. I called back on a Friday. They said car would be done Monday. Still no estimate or anything. I went in on Tuesday. Questioned the owner about my car and asked how can they be fixing I when no one approved it. He was very rude and said he was too busy to deal with it and to just take my car. I had an accident where my car needed to be repaired (costing roughly $4000). Throne Auto works with my insurance company, therefore I was directed to them for claim repair purposes. My entire experience with this facility was frustrating from start to finish. The men are nice when you speak with them but 1. their hours are not readily available online. They state they are 247 but the office is not. So you never know when they are physically present. 2. Their phone number listed online is either disconnected or when it does ring through the voice box is full. You have zero ability to get a hold of them. 3. I talked with three different men to try to get even a description over email (or even verbal on the phone) of the car repairs and the cost that they were processing and this never came through. Nor did the men seem like they knew how to use the system (supposedly only the owner Dave had the capabilities who had been out sick for a month). Everything about this facility is frustrating and unorganized. Contacting them is impossible, I do not recommend working with them. read more

I pulled in to the first auto repair place I saw which was Throne Auto Service and they immediately were able to take a look at my car and get it fixed for me.They even reported they had 3 vehicles of the same make and model that had the same issue. I was sent here for a reason and I am glad they were able to get me going again. I sincerely appreciate the kind staff and quickness of my repair! Horrible service! my car was half fixed parts were missing I took it back to get it fixed the second time and took it to another shop right after them telling me it was fixed and yep you guessed it the work still not done parts were paid for by my insurance company but weren't put on my car and they will try not to give you a receipt for the work done dead giveaway! I had to have both mine and my daughter's vehicles fixed within a 2 week period, both due to separate incidents. As a select service member with my insurance, it was nice to have them directly across from the school I teach at. Very convenient for me. Dave, the owner, literally walked across the street to my work place and took pictures and gave me the estimate in the parking lot so I didn't have to leave work. Check plus, right there! Not only did he do that, but he was very up front with everything, calling me and letting me know what was going on with my vehicle from the day it rolled in to the shop. It was in pristine condition when I picked it up. With my daughter's car, which was terribly damaged, Mr. Throne's employees were prompt in picking up the car to tow. He called me and let me know exactly what the damages were, and even showed me when I stopped over one day. He kept me abreast as to what was going on with the vehicle, and when it would be done. Mr. Throne and his employees, all of them, were upstanding and honest people; something I haven't seen often in the auto service industry. I cannot recommend them highly enough! We've taken our vehicles to Throne's over the years, and I have to say that I've yet to be disappointed in the service. Work is completed quickly, thoroughly, and at a reasonable price, and the staff is more than happy to describe what needs to be done in great detail. Our most recent repair involved repairing the bumper and side of our '07 Prius. Dave and company made a special effort to finish the repairs early, and even came to pick us up so we could retrieve our car when it was done. read more

Website says open 24 hours a day. Google says hours on Saturday ate from 9am-6pm I called at 12: 30pm and got an Answering service. I wanted to get my car out of the tow yard because even though the LUCAS COUNTY SHERIFF told them to tow it to the impound lot that is NOT where they took it. THEN THEY DAMAGED MY CAR IN THEIR LOT!!!! When I called and told the answering service that the hours say Saturday 9-6 the lady told me to go to hell and HUNG UP ON ME!! SO THEY CHARGED ME FOR 7 DAYS OF STORAGE!!! WORSE PLACE EVER!!! read more

I would give them zero if it were possible. Bear with me while I explain. At around 2am this passed Sunday, I gave my girlfriend a quick lift to a 7/11 so she could pick up some dog food. Upon returning from the store, my car suddenly wasn't turning over. The battery seemed fine, though... so my GF and I bang away on the starter for two hours trying to start the car until we finally give up. I called Thrones shortly after they opened to have them tow it. I left my key and got a cab ride home. This is where I start to get ripped off. I actually ended up calling them first thing Monday (the next day) to tell them "never mind." I have a buddy who wanted to help me fix it, and quite frankly, as someone who's grown increasingly jaded after years of experience with shady grease monkeys, I was anxious to help fix my own car. The mechanic on the phone instantly starts asking me what had happened, obviously getting the low down before he starts working. At that time I insisted on getting my car back, telling him I intended to fix it at home. He tried to talk me out of it, stating he was going to charge me for another tow. Grand total would be over $117 for two tows. I'm incredulous, but I insist. He takes my card info and runs it. Shortly thereafter, the guy driving the wrecker calls me to ask me where my apartment is. At that time, he casually mentions that he had my car fixed within ten minutes of arriving on the scene the day before - that is to say, before he towed it (UNNECESSARILY) back to the garage. Turns out, it was a malfunction with the security system. So not only did they tow my fully functioning car once without informing me that it was unnecessary, they did it again the very next day... and charged me for both! That's about as shady a business practice as I can imagine. I'm so glad I told them not to keep it to "work" on it. Who knows what they would have "found" and subsequently charged me extra for. I will never call them again. I also advise anyone reading this to learn from my mistakes and look into doing your own repairs if possible. read more

Terrible service. I called and requested a tow truck from Throne and I was told it would be about an hour until they got there. They were not there an hour and a half later, so I called back and was told 15 minutes. I called half an hour later and was told that the driver was stuck in traffic and it would be 10-15 minutes. I called AGAIN a half an hour later and was told that it would be another 2 hours (it was 9:30 at night by this point). The lady on the phone was extremely unprofessional and was not the least bit helpful. I asked if they only had one driver that I had to wait for and she responded by saying that there were no other that could help. I will never do business with this company again. read more

The towing service has always picked my vehicles up within the time frame that was provided by the daytime and or the 24hr call service, with the completed work being exceptional. Dave Throne, the owner has always been upfront and honest on costs and timing of the repairs having a complete breakdown of parts and labor hours needed to complete the repair or service.
