Yet another taxi story…read more.... I was just beginning my night. It looked promising, having scored 3 in a row 20 plus dollar fares. It was going to be good. Then reality set in. I had a call over on Galena st, which was now heavily populated by trucks and what not because the freeway was being rebuilt. Being the nice guy that I am I got out of the cab to go into the bar to get my passengers. Getting back in was another story. In the process of getting back in, some fool came by and tore my door clean off. Of course, he sped off, and I wound up getting a ticket from the police. Talk about adding insult to injury. I was done for the night and my boss wasn't too pleased either. I had the car towed to my house, where I could put it in a lot. By morning, it was at Fred's. I don't recall his name, but he is a master. Surveying the damage, he told me that he not only could fix it, but make it as good as new. He worked for hours and I watched him perform his magic. He recreated the hinges, and by the evening, he was done and no one could even tell that the car was even damaged. I would not hesitate one iota to use this shop again. He is a miracle worker, and he doesnt charge an arm and a leg to fix your ride. You will be glad and that's a fact. BTW, the ticket was dismissed after a short lecture by the judge. Sometimes the planets will align and everything will work out.

So for them to do quality work and not see the blemishes in the areas that they fixed and how could they not see them? I have no clue to me. It just shows an overlap of quality control. So that right there kind of had me mad and then next day once it kind I got recommended to this place from a previous place that I had visited that had done awesome work and that gentleman had been released and moved over to this guy's place of work so I figured he would have to do good work there for sure so I figured I would give them a try. So they had my car for a couple of days which was no big deal and when I got my car and went out to go look at it, there was a lot of things wrong with it to where they didn't even drop down my bumper to paint it properly there was Paint in between the trim parts that should not be there look totally unprofessional. There was a bunch of ding marks all up and down to where they might've took out the dent that was on the car and painted over it before they did what they were supposed to first. And then there was a bunch of overspray and a bunch of spots that were never there before so just all in all Poor lack of quality and things weren't masked up properly because there's a lot of overspray on parts of my car and on my window trim that I gotta get out myself that I shouldn't have to. And then the second time I had to bring it back to get all this done, I had to run a car for a second time and the gentleman there told me he would help me pay for it $150 towards it in which when I was done, I asked him for that part of money and he only gave me $60 out of his pocket and I felt very shitty about that. And all this could've been avoided if the gentleman did not tell him that I was looking for a cheap paint job when I think doing a quarter panel of a car for over $1000 it doesn't qualify for a cheap paint job I think that's about the going rate. But make sure you do your homework. There's better ones out there.

You are unable to get a hold of him or get a direct answer from him. Took far too long for the work he did, then didn't complete the job. I ended up just cashing him out to get my stuff back. Lies on top of lies, he doesn't have works in there that know what they are doing, found that out late, just his kid and some back yard handy men. Which is fine just not for the price. BUYER BEWARE!! You'll get screwed in the end. My car came back to me with mismatch paint and broken pieces on what was told to me to be new parts. Also I found out what he said he got from the dealership was not from the dealership once I took it to the dealership. Lied about the cars problems and said it needed to be towed after spending months at his shop. Also he says he is not a mechanic so if he tells you he is he lied to me after taking in the car, or he's lying to you about being one. FYI STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I received a great price for replacing my sun roof. I was informed they found a used sunroof and,…read moreI was ok with that. The dissatisfaction came while checking out My roof the workers damaged My retractable shade. The damage was done the day of inspection. They pulled my car in.. allowed me to have a seat in their waiting area while they checked out the sunroof. I received a price .. paid the deposit and, was told I would receive an appointment time. When I arrived home I put plastic on the roof tI cover the hole to prevent water from getting inside my car. I noticed the shade was damaged and, I took picture. The day of my appointment I took the car in. I asked the technician to repair the shade. He told me that he wouldn't be able to because, that's not something he does and, I would have to talk to the company. I called the office because, it took more than a couple hours I was told. I spoke to Skip the owner and, I informed him of the damage and, it brought it to the technicians attention. Skip told me he would make some phone calls and, I told him I would be on my way. when I got to the office. I asked him about repairing the sunroof. He stated that Brandon doesn't work on the weekends and, He would talk to him on Monday. Monday I text and sent the pictures. I received a text from Skip saying He would call me later that day or , in the morning. When Skip called He stated that he had some information I wasn't going to hear. He told me his employers did not damage the retractable shade but, he was going to try to come up with a solution to where we both would be happy. He called me a second time and, we're going back and, forth him arguing that his company didn't damage my shade when indeed they did. They day I took my car in for the estimate.. His guy sat in my drivers seat while I sat in the passenger seat. He retracted the shade a couple times before He pulled my car into the repair garage. There was no damage to the shade before the inspection. The price was great but, now I have to find another company to repair or replace The retractable shade. The review would have been great until the damage and, unprofessionalism from Skip arguing with me as he stated "He doesn't want to have to come out of pocket" and his company did not do it when He was only there to receive payment. Glad the sunroof was replaced. Unsatisfied with the unprofessionalism from the Owner and, the extra cost I will incur.
