Each time i went in the place was crazy as i found out they volunteered too handle the DOJ filing for the Paso Robles and King City dinners as well as the upcoming California deer association dinner "Hundreds of guns" i could tell it was kaotic with all the documentation and they were still gracious too guide me through the whole transaction as i didn't know all these new laws regarding handgun purchases. Ive been back couple times since too purchase more ammo and the atmosphere is much more relaxed fewer people filling out paperwork or picking up guns,i'm learning all they're names as i'll be purchasing more guns and products from them they are friendly,helpful,informative unlike the big box stores .

I have both purchased firearms here and had online purchased FFL items sent here and have always been pleased with my experiences. Also, if you follow their Facebook page, they do post and let you know when they do (not as often as anyone would like) get .22 LR in stock.

I shot my first wild boar (and a trophy for that matter) because of Tony and Ross' tenacity and passion for hunting. It's very clear they love to hunt, and they will absolutely work/hustle to make sure you get chances to shoot. I took down a 220lbs boar from 60yds. We saw boars on every outing. Just some background - I've fished my entire life, love the outdoors, but have never hunted. This couldn't have been a better introduction. If you are at all hesitant, don't be, because you would be missing out on a truly memorable experience. We stayed at the Priest Valley outpost. The accommodations are great and far from roughing it. Nice kitchen and large dining room table to enjoy a couple beers and some meat off the grill after your hunt with friends. There is also a pool table, sizeable flat screen TV, and sofa sectional. Bunk beds are very comfortable. Tony and Ross do a great job of getting you comfortable with the rifles, again safety first. After the detailed tutorial on the rifles, some target practice, and a briefing on how the hunt would go down, we were off on the truck. Not to get all soft on you - but the ranch(es) you prod for game are really pretty. You are spending a lot of time cruising around in the sun and fresh air, couldn't be better. Will spot all sorts of wild life - we saw elk, deer, wild turkey, and quail, to name a few. The cherry on top was the trophy boar I bagged on day 2. Again my hat's off to Tony and Ross - I look forward to many more trips.

Even though I disagree with their posted corporate ammo limits, I understand that it is the company who sets that policy and not the employees. However, What I can't abide is a tyrant who will sit there in front of the posted policy and tell somebody who waited 2 hours I won't let you have 3 boxes, I'll only let you have one Box of 38 (1/15/21). Today I watched him tell the customer in front of me "I am only going to let you have 1 box .308." Even though there was more available, And when I asked to buy the 3 boxes of Mini shot shells he (Not big 5) is restricting me to 2 boxes. I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 because other employees have followed the protocol and treated me with respect.
