One of the places a local gunstore gets thier ammo from. I'd rather buy here than pay double.

Her primary fitness center was in…read moreSLO, when she was employed down there, but due to a change in jobs, her time is now spent in Paso. I've been an on again, off again member since 2021. Working in Oakland and being home just once a month made it difficult for me. Fast forward to 2025 and I retired and added myself, again to her membership. While my fitness goals have changed, I returned to the club and have been using the pool three days a week. With a reconstructed knee and shoulder, this just takes pressure off those joints. I've been happy with my time at the club. It can be daunting to "get in, get out" during the busy periods of the days, when equipment is being used and you are waiting. I've been lucky to get my workouts in quickly in the early afternoon, both in the weight room and in the pool. The one complaint I know my girlfriend carries, is the availability of classes, especially in Paso. Her going to SLO after work made things quick and easy, but the class schedule is hit and miss for her in Paso. She does with there was a bit more consistency. Aside from that I've been happy with the equipment and cleanliness of the facility. The staff has always been attentive and able to answer my questions. Even better, the pool was redone in Paso (2026). Thank Kennedy for a good club experience

Moving through the hall, you can already feel a sense of peace settling in. I love that they offer purified water at the base of the stairs -- with the option to add mineral salt if you choose (my personal fav!). At the top of the stairs, the beautiful loft space opens up as the main room. Sunlight pours through the windows, illuminating another collection of thriving plants, each brimming with prana, or life force energy. Step into the heated room and you'll find warm, welcoming lighting, a fun disco ball overhead, and the gentle warmth of infrared heating panels. Every prop you could need is provided -- and there's enough for everyone. The teachers are all incredible in their own unique ways. Dharma offers the most comprehensive class schedule in North County SLO, with start times ranging from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., seven days a week. The owner, Jena, is a truly special soul whose calming, present energy is felt the moment you meet her. The love and intention she's poured into this space is woven into every detail. Downstairs, there's a lovely wellness lounge featuring an array of healing modalities and a space for other practitioners to host workshops -- from Reiki trainings to massage to bio-tuning and beyond. The class variety is just as rich: from sweat-inducing, kick-your-butt Inferno Pilates to deeply gentle restorative yoga; from classic Hatha to candlelit flow and stretch classes taught by instructors from all walks of life. Dharma Yoga Loft is something truly special in Paso Robles -- a town that's still relatively sleepy to the conscious community. Jena has created a space that honors those ideals while remaining inviting and welcoming to everyone, whether or not they're already tuned in to higher frequencies. I cannot say enough good things about Dharma, it's truly a gem!

My problem is with some members that don't know anything about gym etiquette. When I'm training and moving from station to station, I'll see some WINNER sitting on the ONLY incline bench there and he's doing more with his phone than training. The employees walk past him without saying a word. I'll buy these guy's memberships if they'll let me kick them out! I need to train and get ready for work.

It's good to see that most people are using them, which makes a big difference. My main concern is the air quality in the workout area. It often feels stuffy and humid, which can be uncomfortable especially during busier hours. I worry a bit about the lack of airflow, particularly in a space where people are breathing heavily or may not always be feeling 100%. It just seems like better air circulation would make the environment feel healthier and more pleasant. They do have those large overhead fans that are great when they're running high enough to really move the air that's a possible solution, if they could be set a little higher during peak times. The locker room, on the other hand, is great clean, well-kept, and comfortable Edit: Hi, thanks for your response. I was under the impression this WAS reaching out to the appropriate staff, as this message came from Planet Fitness Customer Service. I'd appreciate it if you could please forward this concern to the management team at this location, as proper air circulation really impacts the workout experience. Thank you

I've been coming here for about 10 years, and while the food used to be consistently good, it has noticeably declined--along with the quality of service. Recently, a friend and I ordered club sandwiches priced at $12 each. This was just for the sandwich, with no sides included. Unfortunately, the sandwiches did not match what was listed on the menu--there was no bacon, and no mayo or mustard. As a result, the sandwiches were extremely dry. When we went back to politely ask for mayo or mustard, the employee responded, "Yeah, but you know this really isn't a food place," and handed us bottles to add the condiments ourselves. I was honestly taken aback by both the response and the attitude. If this isn't considered a food establishment, it's confusing why there is a full menu and regular advertising for food and smoothies. I didn't even mention the missing bacon at that point because of how the situation was handled. Overall, the sandwich was very basic and definitely not worth $12--especially considering the cost of the monthly membership.

I have been an avid yoga/pilates/barre exercise fanatic pretty much my whole life and growing up as a competitive dancer, I am truly obsessed with reformer Pilates! It is such a good work out and you really feel like you're working out muscles that you don't typically work out. This studio is located in Paso Robles, in the same parking lot as Target. It has ample parking spaces, which is really convenient. Each class here is 50 minutes long and they start right at the top of the hour and then you have a few minutes to clean down your station after the class is done. They have classes going every hour from roughly 630am - 830pm on the weekdays, and 8am - 3pm on the weekends (it is truly on a very organized system). They have class levels of 1, 1.5 and 2. For level 2, instructor level approval is required. They have an app which you can download and sign up for all of your classes which is really nice to have. Classes can be somewhat hard to come by just due to their waitlist feature so I would try to schedule your classes as far in advance as you can for that given month. The other bummer is if you don't have the unlimited membership, you can't book past the current billed month you are in. All in all, this reformer studio is great - everyone is nice and the classes are wonderful! Highly recommend, especially if you're willing to spend a little bit.
