Disappointing experience - problems started 28 days after purchase…read more Review: Unfortunately, my experience with this company was very disappointing. I purchased my vehicle approximately four months ago, and I strongly suggest that anyone searching for a car also consider dealerships with a better consumer history. Only 28 days after the purchase, I began experiencing mechanical issues that could affect the engine. Although the company performed repairs, the same problems continued to return repeatedly within less than three months. In addition, I do not believe the vehicle was properly inspected before delivery. The car was handed over with the oil close to its limit and with very low fluid levels in several systems that should have been properly filled. The tires were also already very worn and had to be replaced within just four months. I have driven less than 2,000 miles, yet the vehicle has already presented multiple serious problems. Even when the 3-month warranty is activated, customers are still required to pay part of the repair costs, in addition to transportation expenses and time away from work. I paid about $6,000 as a down payment, and so far I have spent approximately $8,000 total, including installments and repair-related costs. When I tried to exchange the vehicle, I was told there were over 200 cars available, but I would still have to pay additional money to make the exchange. After all the loss and frustration, I was expected to pay even more just to get rid of a defective car. Another very important detail is that for vehicles with more than 60,000 miles, customers may be asked to sign documents waiving the 3-month consumer protection, which makes it extremely difficult to resolve serious defects later. My advice, especially to non-English speakers: * Never sign anything under pressure. * Take all documents home and translate every page before signing. * If any problem starts, communicate only by email to keep proper records. This experience caused me to completely lose trust in this business. No one spends this much money to end up with a car that brings stress instead of safety and peace. Please think very carefully before purchasing from this company.

I want to leave this review as a warning to anyone thinking about buying a car from this company…read more If you are planning to buy a car for more than $20,000 like I did, please consider looking at Facebook Marketplace first. You will probably find similar cars for half the price and the quality might honestly be the same. The difference is that when you buy from this company, you pay a lot more and still risk getting a broken car. In my experience, this company sells defective vehicles. The problem with my car started only 22 days after I bought it. Since then, I have reported the exact same issue five times, and the car has already been repaired four times for the same problem. After six months, the issue still continues. What is even more concerning is that during the purchase process they make you sign paperwork that includes a paragraph where you waive certain rights. I strongly recommend that anyone buying from them take the contract home and read every single line carefully before signing anything. I feel extremely disappointed and unsafe driving this car. No one should spend more than $20,000 on a vehicle and then have to deal with the same mechanical issue over and over again. If you have also had problems with this company, please share your experience in the comments. It would help other people understand how common these situations may be and help future buyers make a more informed decision. I truly hope this review helps someone avoid the same mistake I made. We Will Let's start counting the number of reports of defective cars purchased from this company. put your problema here !!!

First visit, front wiper arm needed to be replaced. She said they normally replace the wiper blade. As they were only 3 months old, I declined. She asked 2 more times to replace the wiper blade making me feel pressured. Red flag 1 Car went in for service. The report they provided said air filter status unknown. There are 4 screws that hold the cover in place. The manager told me they only check the air filter if they are quick release fasteners. Basically, if they aren't sure if they can charge you for the filter they won't take the time to unscrew the cover. Red Flag 2. Took car in for oil change and tire rotation. They told me the rear wiper wasn't working. Odd as it was working the day before in the rain. Since I have an extended service warranty, I had them check to see if it was covered. It was only if the motor was bad. They told me that they would have to trouble shoot it and I would be responsible for the cost. Unless it turned out to be the motor. I asked if they checked the fuse. Service writer didn't even look at me nor acknowledged my question. Why should they see if it's the fuse when they play dumb and get paid for trouble shooting. Checked the rear wiper when they brought the car out and it was working just fine. During this same visit I was told the rear links are going bad. Insurance would pay but because the insurance would only pay a certain amount for the links, I would owe more than $100. I asked about aftermarket parts. She said they were more than the dealership. I found them online for what the insurance would pay for. After the prior red flags, I wonder if the links are in need of replacement. 3rd and final Red Flag. I canceled the appointment to have them replaced. Had the trans fluid changed along with the brake fluid not too long ago. Now I'm wondering if they did it? It's sad that Pro-Cat feels they need to do business in this manor. How did they stayed in business 35 years??

I brought my car in just to get a quote. The car had recently been at a dealership and they gave me…read morea printout of the repairs that were recommended, mainly rear brakes and a front control arm. I explained this when I arrived and asked if they could give me an estimate. They looked at the car for maybe five minutes and then quoted me $1,600 for the job. They also asked for an $800 deposit upfront. I thought that was a pretty large deposit, but since I planned on getting the work done there, I paid it and scheduled the repair for later in the week. The next day I heard some negative things about the shop and it made me uncomfortable moving forward. I called the owner, Mo, and asked if I could cancel the appointment and get my $800 deposit back. Right away he became defensive and told me I couldn't cancel and that the deposit was non-refundable. After going back and forth for a bit he hung up on me. When I called back, he said he would give me $600 back instead of the full $800 and that I would have to come to the shop to pick it up in cash. I went there in person to try to talk things through and ask why I couldn't get the full amount back, especially since no work had been done on my car. Instead of explaining, he started yelling and said that by canceling I was taking money out of his pocket. I stayed calm and just repeated that I was asking for my deposit back since no services were performed. He eventually told me to leave and continued saying they don't give refunds. So in the end, no work was done on my vehicle and they are still keeping my $800 deposit. The way this situation was handled felt extremely unprofessional and frustrating. At this point I may have to consider small claims court to try to recover my deposit. I'm sharing my experience so others can be aware before deciding to bring their vehicle here. After this happened I also went back and looked through the previous 5-star reviews on this page. Many of them seemed very generic and were all posted within about a two-week period, which made them seem questionable to me. I would encourage people to read through all the reviews carefully before choosing this shop.
