I am very impressed with my whole experience at Bayside Auto and Tire Care. The front desk…read moreassociate, Matt, was not only professional and fast, but personable and genuine. It is difficult to come by a mechanic establishment that is precise, committed and thorough. Throughout my whole experience, no one made me feel small or clueless; AKA no one patronized me. I find that is not common as a young woman going to a mechanic. I will certainly be back here for all of my car needs moving forward. The prices are unbeatable AND they offered me a military discount. The man who worked on my vehicle explained things so well and truly seemed to care about my safety. Not once did they appear frustrated with me for my questions-and there were a lot of them- and I respect the way they conduct business. My vehicle went in early afternoon and was ready by early the next morning. I received a rental car free of charge which alleviated my stress significantly. Thank you to everyone for your help!!! I'm almost looking forward to the next time my car needs work because I'm not nervous that they'll try to pull a fast one on me or anything like that. Well, I don't want my car to need more work lol, but if it does, I trust this place totally.

I recently received the gift of a "Frankenbolt" in one of my tires. I was actually on my way to…read moreRoland's to get it looked at when it went flat. After an hour of rocket science (deducing how to get the spare un-cabled and finding the tire jack), I finally got the spare on and made it there. All that after minimal bloodshed and only two or three four-letter words. Now I've been going to Roland's for years and have always had great service. I don't know much about tires but they always do their best to listen to what I need and make their best recommendation. I never walk out feeling taken advantage of and this time was no exception. I got one decent quality tire at a good price and they ended up fixing the stem on another that was leaking free of charge. The cherry on top was the very next day when I went to re-cable the spare to the undercarriage. Dreading the session after struggling to take it off the day before, I discovered that they had already quietly done it. Guys, don't change a thing; you've got my business!

I've been a loyal customer of Roland's Tire Service and have spent thousands of dollars here over…read morethe past year, but my most recent experience was beyond disappointing. Less than a year ago (about 10,000 miles), I bought four brand-new tires and had an alignment done here. Recently, I brought my 3-year-old car to the dealership for a recall and mentioned excessive road noise. After inspection, the dealer told me all four of my tires were cupped. They checked the wheel bearings, suspension, and steering -- everything was tight. Sure enough, when I got home, I checked myself, and they were right: all four tires are badly cupped. Wanting to give Roland's the chance to make things right, I brought the car back and explained what happened. I made zero demands, accusations, or complaints -- just explained the situation and was hoping for a simple alignment check and fix. Instead, I was met with immediate hostility from the manager. His response was basically to blame my driving and claim the alignment could have been ruined within a month of getting the tires installed by hitting potholes. I've been in the trade for 25 plus years and know how alignments and tire wear work. My old tires wore evenly; these new ones, installed with an alignment, are now all cupped after 10k miles. That points to an issue with the setup. The manager's "solution" was either pay $50 for a quick toe adjustment (while it was already on the rack) or buy four new tires. No empathy, no ownership, no apology -- just finger-pointing. This $50 adjustment would have taken less than 5 minutes mind you. He had his tech literally get the car on the rack to show me a report of an alignment that wasn't really out of spec. It was worse before I had the tires installed 10k miles ago. I have done literally hundreds of alignments working for Goodyear and the final outcome is only as good as the initial setup. They are easy to manipulate. Toe & go is not a 4-wheel alignment. The proof is in the tire wear. The printout today was virtually the same as it left 10k miles ago and the tires are cupped. Riddle me this? Even basic professionalism was missing. I was accused of also driving the car with low tire pressure which would cup the tires. 30PSI..... I asked what the spec was, and he told me it's on the door jamb. Which is correct but how can you tell me its low if you didn't look at the spec yourself? By the way the spec is 33 and when I got home, I checked the pressure, and it was 32. Honestly at 28 PSI the tires aren't going to cup that bad on only the inside edge. It's an alignment issue. What bothers me the most is the complete lack of customer service. I wasn't looking for free tires -- just accountability, respect, and maybe a simple alignment correction. Instead, I was treated rudely and dismissed. The manager basically gave me the cigar and said take it or leave it. $50.... Was this worth it? Making the adjustment and being empathetic would of easily avoided this review. It's sad because I supported this shop, even tipping the techs on jobs because I know the work they put in. But after this, I can't justify coming back. A little humility and care for customers would go a long way. Please take the time to read other reviews. You will see the trend of an egotistical maniac that admires praise but will tolerate zero criticism. Not crying over spilled milk but do better. Be positive and Good luck on your future endeavors.

Buyers Beware! I recently had purchased 4 new tires from the Fall River location. At which time…read morethe new tires were installed balanced, and the wheels were aligned. Fast forward, I bring the same vehicle to the Fall River Location to take advantage of the complimentary wheel rotation. While there I requested and paid for a synthetic oil change. I asked if I could use apply their online $15 coupon for an oil change. The Front shop person Jon Cabral informed me that he already applied a discount better than the coupon, and discounted my service by $23(e). Fast forward, The so called better discount was them not charging me for the $23(e) complimentary vehicle inspection fee. They recommended that I replace all 4 brake pads and rotors at the cost of about $1,500. The very next day I took my vehicle for a 2nd opinion at my go to garage where I am treated with honesty. They quoted me $800 for a full brake job including replacing all 4 brake pads, and all 4 rotors. When I was called in at the end of the service they asked me if I wanted them to change my oil. I informed them at that point that I had just had the oil changed the day before at Firestone in Fall River. He looked at me with surprise. He informed me that they inspect each vehicle for fluid levels during each service and determined that the oil in my vehicle was obviously old and dirty. They also topped off my other fluids as this was also needed... a service that Firestone was suppose to do according to their website. He showed me the oil and it was indeed dark brown in color and looked dirty. So apparently, I had paid $110 for an oil change with the Fall River Firestone but no such service had taken place. Fall River Firestone charged me for an Oil service that they dishonestly did not perform. I immediately drove to the Fall River Firestone branch. I informed Firestone's Jon Cabral of my experience of just having my brakes replaced by another repair garage and that they offered to change my oil because it was apparently due for a change as the oil appeared old and dirty. Jon's Cabral's immediate response was please give me your keys and we will take care of it right now. I looked at him with surprise and said no thank you. Why would you think I would trust you to do a job that I paid you for yesterday that you did not do. I requested him to just refund the $110 that they had charged me for not changing my oil. He said that he could not do that and that he was not allowed to process refunds. I told him that I was not leaving until he refunded my money. He said that he would need to speak with management. After waiting at the counter for 15 minutes he came back to the front desk to inform me that he had spoken the with manager Jose who informed him that he had observed the oil change and could not offer a refund. I asked how can you not refund me money that you charged me if you didn't actually change my oil. Jon's response was that maybe the oil appears dirty and old because there may be some old oil remaining from within the engine post oil changed. I looked at the receipt and it clearly showed that I was charged for a new oil filter so I asked Jon if they drained the oil because I was charged for a filter. I asked so if you drained the oil, and put in fresh new oil, then why would the oil be dirty. His response was can you please come back tomorrow when Jose the manager would be in. I told Jon Cabral that I would not spend another minute of my time to make a 3rd trip to his shop to speak with Manager Jose to request a refund for an oil change that I had already paid for but did not receive on day one. Buyers should be very careful doing business here. The kicker of my experience is that there is a sign above the door that leads to the working garage area that is displayed for customers to see. it is a quote by Firestone's founder Harvey Firestone which reads: "I BELIEVE FUNDAMENTAL HONESTY IS THE KEYSTONE OF BUSINESS" Buyers be aware! Make sure you get what you pay for... better yet, get a second opinion elsewhere.
