Jimmy's New York Pizza and Pasta is legit one of my favorite pizza spots in Tucson, and it always feels like a treat when I make it over there since I live on the other side of town. It dawned on me that I've never actually written a review of this place and that's just not cool, so here we go!! Stopped in on a Friday night with my boyfriend for dinner and it did not disappoint. Their cauliflower crust is hands down the best I have ever had. Period. This time I stuck with my go-to combo of pepperoni and green olives on the cauliflower crust. If you have never tried that combo, give it a shot. So good. We also decided to try something new so split an Uncle Pauly's Club and it was so amazing! The bread is perfection and they do not skimp on the toppings at all, which I appreciate. I love a fully loaded sando, and the two garlic knots that came with it were an unexpected bonus! The vibe inside is classic old school New York with great photos of the city throughout the space. There is always Rat Pack era music playing softly in the background, which adds to the atmosphere. They have a small bar, a handful of tables, and TVs everywhere, so it is a great spot to catch a game while you eat. The staff is consistently amazing. It is usually the same team when I come in, and they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is spot on. My drink glass was never empty and the service felt genuinely welcoming. If you have not given Jimmy's a try yet, I highly recommend it - 10 out of 10! read more

Solid local spot for a classic slice of pizza. The restaurant itself wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, but the takeout orders were definitely coming in. My husband and I shared a small Classic Combo pizza and a baked ziti which came with garlic knots. Just the right amount of food for the 2 of us. The pizza had a good portion of toppings and was cheesy with a crunchy crust. Even though the restaurant is named a pizzeria, we enjoyed the baked ziti with the garlic knots more (to our surprise!) - cheesy gooey goodness. read more

Jimmy's is tucked back in a strip mall (like so many other restaurants) but definitely feels different upon entering. Service is pleasant and welcoming and the restaurant is super cute Inside. After our nice welcome , we were hit with the heavenly scent of pizza goodness. We ordered a meat combo and veggie, and both were very good. The toppings were ample, lots of cheese, and a great crust. Jimmy's is legit. read more

Great experience here . Cute little low key stop. They were able to make my order vegan without any fuss . Ordered the treehugger w/ no cheese pizza & salad no cheese . Perfect after run fix. read more

White pizza was recommended online. So was the cheesecake. So, got the white pizza and cheesecake to go. Pizza was way overcooked, spinach topping was burned to a crisp. Cheesecake hasn't even been tried yet, but this is what they sent me home with...for $8.99. Total was $40+ for a medium pizza and piece of cheesecake. Nothing more. Yikes. AZ Pizza Company is far superior. Don't need a refund, just will continue driving by from here on out. read more

So I just called and before I could get out it full address, the guy in the phone cuts me off at South and says they don't deliver to the south. If he would have let me talk, I would have told him I'm still in the easy side, like them, and are literally a straight shot down craycroft for 15 min to Broadway area. But I'm not going to argue. Oh well. Maybe next time ask for the zip code so you can see that practically next door? I mean in delivery terms at least? Oh well. One pizza place I guess I won't get to try... read more

My Nana has gone to Jimmy's for years. However I have never tried, we ordered a large pizza for delivery! It came quickly, and they took our order before they even opened for the night! It tasted very fresh as well and the crust was perfectly done! Great place, my grandma has always loved Jimmys and I now approve too! I am more of a thin crust pizza person, but this is place was yummy. read more

Live their pizza, we're always greeted by the server. I feel their pizza is much better than the regular pizza delivery

Tasty pizza! We have ordered delivery a few times. A little pricey, but so worth it.

Awful Pizza. Terrible ingredients. You couldn't serve this pizza on the east coast and get away with it. Similar to Dominos.

We're visiting Tucson from Southern California and this place is the best little Pizza place we've been to! The pizza is amazing and even better is the friendly staff! They were so nice to accommodate us at closing time and we got to visit with Jimmy while we waited! Super nice owner! Made us feel at home and welcome! Don't pass this by! In the Whole Foods shopping center! If I could give more stars I would! read more

They make the pizza as requested. Always quick and fresh. Great staff. A little bit expensive but worth it.

I stumbled upon this local restaurant while visiting a friend. Even though it has been here for 15 years, it largely fell under the radar for me, since I very rarely venture over to this side of town. Not only was I pleasantly surprised, but I plan on making a trek back here sometime in the near future to try out their other items. They have a nice menu here. Filled with pizza and Italian classics. For dessert they also have cheesecake on the menu (which sadly, was not available). Now that I am on that subject, I was a little disappointed that they did not have many items available (such as the bistro style meals) during my visit. Maybe someday they will update the menu and/or bring them back. Since I was eating by myself this time, I opted to get a small pizza with pepperoni, along with garlic cheese toast. The pizza here was fantastic! The people here place a premium on toppings, so it is a bit thicker than usual, though not Chicago style thick; so if you like toppings on your pizza, this is the place for you! The sauce was very fresh tasting, and complemented my toppings well. A very tasty pizza. The garlic cheese bread was good, freshly made and served on french bread, and containing ample cheese. My only issue was that it did not taste like there was any garlic on it. That said, despite a few minor quibbles, I really enjoyed my time here and recommend it. Hopefully they fix their menu, and make sure that their garlic cheese bread contains garlic next time around. read more

Food and service were outstanding. Nice hole in the wall place with back east ambience. Treehugger pizza with cauliflower crust was to die for. Will definately be back. My new favorite pizza place for sure! read more

Jimmy's is one of our favorites. We love their pizza and they have lots of other awesome menu selections as well - calzones, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, salads.... and all very tasty!! And the service is always excellent - they are very welcoming and friendly. We like the atmosphere there too - they have a great little bar and cozy dining area. Great place to visit with friends and/or catch the big game on tv. Thanks, Jimmy!! read more

Use regular wine glasses and you'll sell more wine!! The glasses you use are for plum wine or a special cordial drink.. love your pizzas!

This was a good decision. Our regular spot for pizza was closed on a Monday. We went for the Classico. The pizza as a rating was a 7 or a 8. I brought home a menu because I want to buy local. We will go back for Pizza and other Italian Dishes. He quoted 20 -25 minutes and it was ready. Nice guy at the desk... read more

Pretty good pizza. I was drunk and kept asking for Jimmy and kept yelling about Jimmy. I'm sorry about that. Thank you for the food.

I recently ate dinner here. My friend and I shared a 12-inch Southwest Heat pizza ($18.99), which tasted like Buffalo wings as advertised. I liked it, but my pal thought the sauce tasted too sweet. I took half of it home and polished off the leftovers today for lunch. read more

Seriously such yummy food! I never leave reviews but I love this place! I found it on Yelp and the service and food were both wonderful! Small businesses like this deserve more credit We are from out of town and trying to decide between Chick-fil-A and somewhere new and I'm so glad we took a chance on a tiny restaurant with a bright red pizza sign out front! Really great dinner. Loved everything we ate: boneless buffalo wings, pizza, & fritz. Jimmy & Kenny took really great care of us

Good pizza. Wish they were open earlier. We just ordered a pepperoni that was annihilated in short order. Thanks

I have had this place in the past via work parties and never had any complaints. I will probably be too annoyed to ever order here again. A buddy of mine called and set up an order but couldn't find his card! Told them he would call when we could find it. I was on the phone with a client when I had Jimmy's show up @ my door with our order asking for a card to call in- LOL what.... we never confirmed or purchased the order and had them show up. Paid for the order as they arrived and I felt bad. On top of that- the lunch special veggie Stromboli was mostly bread! VERY little vegetables or cheese. It was a big disappointment... Cinnamon twists are good though ‍‍ read more

Absolutely the best pizza period. I wish I could have ended there but yelp won't let me. The sauce is sensational and the crust is perfect.

I really like the pizza here but one time I ordered salad and I took one bite and it had a very strong chemical taste. Almost like soap or something. I don't know what was wrong with it but it was not edible. I told the waiter and he came back and told me they were sorry but if I wanted tp order something else I would have to pay for it. Fortunately my cousin shared her pizza with me so we still had a good time. I am reluctant to go back again because of this. read more

What do you expect from a pizzeria with a giant sign that says "PIZZA" out front. Listen, i love pizza. I believe in Pizza. I live. for. Pizza. Breakfast lunch and dinner, pizza. Hot Pizza cold pizza...gimme my pizza. Sometimes a beautiful fire oven roasted slightly charred crust with fine herbs, exotic cheeses and meats just aint gonna cut it. I want my pepperoni and mushroom. This place is THE place. I'm so in love. Seriously, I love you Jimmy. Don't tell my Fiancee. The cheese is gooey, the pepperoni is spicy and crunchy, the sauce is *chefs kiss*. Tomato and garlic perfection. Can you hear Dean Martin singing in the background while reading this?? "That's amore". Anyway, please go visit this place and fall in love like i did. oh and btw - service is great. It's a small little joint, they have beer and wine and salads too! read more

The first day I moved to Tucson, I had Jimmy's deliver a pizza to my apartment next door because we were too tired from moving into a third-story apartment. This was back in March and I have been a frequent customer ever since. Everything I've had there has been great. The pizza is always on-point, the lasagna is great, I'm even eating one of the garlic knots while I'm writing this. And delivery is always quick. I've been inside a couple times too and the full bar is excellent when dining in. This is my go-to pizza place with plenty of other options on their menu that are just as good! read more

So, there has been a change in the kitchen and my favorite pizza in town is greatly changed and therefore not my favorite any longer. It's supposed to have chunks of crab and shrimp; I ate 1/2 and only found one small piece of shrimp...the spinach and cheese were weird (read: arty), and it was salty as can be. Get the old cook back is my suggestion. I told the waitress it was different and she just shrugged this off...ok. read more
