This is a family generational business that we love here in the BX. When we want breakfast and don't want to make it at home- this is it! It is home- 80% chance you'll know someone when you arrive. Fish and grits are my fave. Grilled or fried, the seafood is bomb. You can legit order red or blue Kool-Aid and your request is well received. Our grandparents and parents ate here, we eat here and yep, our kids do too. We want Jimmy's here forever!

Went here for breakfast after a night of partying. I was not disappointed. We called our orders in so it was ready when we went to pick up. It was pretty crowded and it's only a bar area to sit and eat your breakfast. A few tables in the front by the window but definitely not big enough for a huge party, unless you get there when they open and take up the bar area. We ordered shrimp and cheese grits, 2 bacon eggs and homefries And a side order of corn beef hash And 3 orders of half and half (lemonade and ice tea) The customer service here is okay. It's a black owned establishment. The customer service can improve, but it's not the worst. You're greeted when you walk in. It looks like a family owned business, and it's always busy so it wasn't the worst. Just not the best. All in all, i would recommend this place for breakfast (that's all i ever had here) but my sister lives around here so they come here faithfully. (Every weekend) they love it. The portion sizes were huge. Be careful that you don't eat and have somewhere to go after. This is definitely a heavy meal that can put you to sleep if you're being lazy. The best part also, they have an A on the window. Best thing to see walking in the morning. The only reason they i gave them 4 stars is because the customer service can improve.

I always heard about this place via my friend's and associates on social media, I always stated to my self that the food looks good . I recently started interning near by and was devastated about the lack of food choices nearby . I one day googled spots and this spot showed up . Ultimately I decided to try them out . It did not disappoint . The first time I went, I was unaware that you must order and then wait outside. Moreover, this prepared for the next time . I ordered prior to going. You are called when your food is ready to pickup . The lady who placed my orders is very nice . (She was the person both times I ordered). The first time I ordered salmon cakes and scrambled eggs with toast. The second time I ordered salmon cake, sunny side up styled eggs , home fries and toast.... Both times I ordered a tropical punchKool aid . Everything was good , however The salmon cake and home fries just wow . The Kool aid was very good as well . My new go to and I advised the place where I am currently interning at about the food here . Oh the food is so reasonable as well .

Food wasn't that bad, but burning the hamburger bun is ridiculous. Make sure you have cash because they don't take credit or debit cards...

Seafood combo w/cheese grits & waffles and seafood combo

Let me say i love my borough!!! Jimmy's on the Go is a little hole in the wall but it fills up pretty quick. We had ordered the seafood combo (which you can get grilled or fried which comes with fish and shrimps) w waffles and cheese grits. Boy them waffles were good. Buttery and everything nice. Grits were creamy and delish. Shrimps and fish had the right amount of seasoning and shrimps were big, not small and shriveled up like u get in most places. I would definitely recommend this place if you want some bomb seafood to go. Me and my friend left here content!!!

The food is a home cooked meal. The service is pleasant and great. I would recommend it for sure.

Great breakfast! But, the web says they are open on Sundays & they aren't. Went all the way there & they were closed. Not ok.

We arrived and were seated right away. Service was on point. They check on you while also letting you enjoy yourself, which is the perfect balance. Getting into the food, we ordered the shrimp tempura for our appetizer and it was really good. For our entrées, we ordered the Mommy Boil and the Mini Boil with the special Cajun medium sauce. It was so delicious. I loved everything, the potatoes, corn, shrimp, sausage, and mussels. The portions are generous too, like where can you get a $20 seafood boil? (+ $5 for sausage). After we were done, we both had leftovers. In my opinion, the Mommy Boil is more than enough for two, or you can just get two Minis. Overall, I loved my experience. I'm curious about happy hour too. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Thank you Baby Crab!

This was my first time ordering from Baby Crab, and I came away impressed…read more I ordered the Snow Crab Legs with the Baby Sauce (mild) and added sausage, plus the Dungeness Crab Legs with the Special Cajun sauce (mild). The pickup experience was excellent. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was packed securely in sturdy aluminum trays. I actually arrived about 30 minutes after they said the order was ready, but the food was still piping hot thanks to the packaging. The standout was definitely the Snow Crab. The legs were large and meaty, and the boil came with plenty of potatoes, corn, and sausage. The Baby Sauce was really enjoyable: rich, buttery, slightly sweet, and only mildly spicy. Personally, I would have preferred it to lean a little saltier and less sweet, but that's just my taste. I'd happily order it again. The Dungeness crab was good, though not quite as memorable. The meat-to-shell ratio wasn't as generous as the snow crab, and I wasn't nearly as fond of the Special Cajun sauce. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the balance and flavor that made the Baby Sauce stand out. Overall, Baby Crab made a great first impression with quality seafood, generous portions, thoughtful packaging, and friendly service. I'd definitely come back... next time I'd stick with the Snow Crab and Baby Sauce. If you're in the Bronx and craving a seafood boil, it's absolutely worth a try.

I was leaving Borgatti's ravoli and asked: I just passed Tra di Noi, Nice place?…read more Oh yes, they make everything homemade. It's wonderful. That's all I needed to hear. I wasn't going to eat dinner at Yankee stadium, I'm in "The Bronx" so I head over to Arthur Avenue. Walking inside Tra di Noi, its like stepping back into the restaurants of my childhood. Red Table clothes and a chalk blackboard with all the specials listed front and center. At the corner table I see chef/owner Marco Coletta. He's sitting and just watching the operation. I see someone walked up and gave him two huge tomatoes?? I scan the menu but I know what I want, the lasagna bolognese. I also ordered a glass of Montepulciano wine. Everything comes to the table quickly. Look at my picture, I can see in the Ragu's soffritto the finely chopped carrots. It's the perfect meat sauce covered in delicate pasta sheets. Just a simple, homemade lasagna. No need to get fancy with truffle toppings. I would have liked to sample their bread basket but it was never brought to my table. Dessert, I was starting to get stuffed so I had to pass. I read about the cheesecake online, which Marco makes fresh several times a week. Next time. Last night, I enjoyed the Italian homemade cooking from Tra di Noi.
