I brought my grandmothers car to this garage to have a bad oil leak diagnosed. After having the…read morevehicle for 2 days the owner called and said there is no oil leak. When you open the hood you can literally see the oil all over the engine bay and no oil in the car. When you put oil in it pours out. I explained this to the owner over the phone and he disagreed. He said that he has a 30 year airforce veteran mechanic that looked at it. The owner continued to say that he would be willing to put more time into the issue if we paid $500+ to replace the radiator. "Time is money" He continued to say. I explained that the vehicle was towed there so I would have to get it towed out if we did not fix the oil issue. I went to the garage to get the car towed out and brought him out to look at it. There was oil everywhere. It became obvious to me that know one had looked at my grandmothers car there. I said "I will just bring my grandmothers vehicle to a shop that will look at it" The owner responded by saying "Good we don't want your business here anyways time is money" Avoid this place at all costs.

Bob has consistently provided quality service for reasonable prices. He has never tried to fix something on my car that wasn't wrong. He's honest and straightforward about what is and isn't wrong with your car. More than once I've come in telling him I need new tires and he's said "no, these tires still have a good amount of tread so they'll be good for a while longer". This type of integrity takes (most of) the stress out of taking my car in for service. I've referred several friends to him who have also had good experiences. This normally involves everything that is checked during a state safety inspection, but with additional checks on the functionality of the vehicle and its systems (electrical, cosmetics, etc). I requested an engine compression test, and was told it would involve more time, which was fine. What I received: 10 photos of the undercarriage and two lines about the seller being old and needing to sell. No start. No compression test. No other photos. No evidence anything else had been examined. Chris was polite and apologetic, and he did adjust the invoice, but I was left with no clear idea about the vehicle, despite paying for exactly that service.
