I don't give 5 stars often. The food was great but that's not why I'm giving them 5 stars. THE PRICE OF IT WAS THE KEY FACTOR!! We were also taken well care off. A whole meal was 7.99. That's prices you can't beat!

Veggie omlette with hash browns and country fries

I lobe this place. Several months ago i ordered the veggie omelette. Delicious. Tons and veggies and cheese. Comes with 2 sides of choice. Ive since been back 5-6 times to enjoy. Best breakfast place in town. Burgers good to.

Have the vegetarian omelette. It was more than enough to eat. Waitress was friendly and prompt. First time eating here in the area working so tried it out

Cinnamon pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs.

Not the finest breakfast you'll find, but over all, a good experience. The Good: The pancakes are delicious. The bacon is crisp and full of flavor. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and I had no trouble catching their attention. The Bad: The menu is organized poorly, at best. The rigidity of the options forces any alterations -such as substituting eggs with hash- to be handled by ordering each individual item separately, which drives up the cost. The wait staff, while polite, are easily confused when ordering anything remotely custom. The hash browns, as it turns out, are not worth ordering. "Brown" is an gross overstatement; the hash was almost entirely raw. As for the eggs, they weren't bad, but I expected better given the restaurant's name. The Point: I went for pancakes and enjoyed them thoroughly. I will likely not return on a regular basis, but my experience was pleasant.

Kirsten was amazing! The food was delicious. Although there was no music. Please fix the music situation.

The food taste good, but not good enough for 5 stars. I recommend eating here, unless you don't like/allergic to eggs.

too expensive, food tastes good, not a good amount. There aren't any waffle houses in pittsburg so this will do.

Not too long of a wait in line for Saturday morning. Service was good and the food was pretty satisfying as well.

Joplin happens to be a good midway point for my wife and I to meet up with our daughter and her…read morefamily. Looking for a new and fun place to meet up for this latest trip, we stumbled across The Bruncheonette in Yelp. Sooooo thankful we did. It's located at the northern edge of downtown Joplin on main street. It's a small quaint place with both on and off-street parking. We could tell immediately that we'd made a popular choice based upon the large number of cars and folks waiting to get a seat. The hostess welcomed us just outside the front door and us we'd be seated shortly. She was great and very nice to chat with. We had to wait outside a short bit before we were escorted inside. The space and seating is limited for sure. There are tables as well as some bar-style seating along the edges of the restaurant. The environment was busy, fun and lively. Our granddaughter loved all the action. The person who escorted us in then actually took the extra time to explain their menu and options, which are posted on boards above the checkout counter. The menu is limited and made up of a combo of traditional lunch/brunch items. But they are all done with a unique and delicious flair. Sort of a twist on the traditional bunch options. All of us enjoyed our meals. We had breakfast street tacos, a salmon cake eggs Benedict special, French toast, the fruit plate and a pancake. All of the portions were good sized, ingredients fresh and tasted great. They even went the extra step to bring our granddaughter some fried cheese to munch on. Very kind. I also got a laugh out of the fun pictures in the bathroom as well. Hilarious. The restaurants location allowed us to enjoy a stroll around the downtown area afterward brunch. Great place, great staff. We now have a new "meet-up" spot in Joplin!

When we said no, the chef walked us through the menu, highlighting their locally sourced ingredients. I ordered the pancakes because I was eager to try the house-made syrup--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. My husband went with the pulled pork pancakes and loved them. We also tried the carrot fries, which were delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
