I walked in for a New York State vehicle inspection, a service they advertise, but from the moment I arrived, Scott was dismissive. He immediately assumed, "You're probably here for an inspection, that's the only time you come," which set a negative tone. Before I could even respond, his uncle chimed in, bringing up an irrelevant issue about tires I supposedly didn't pick up two or three years ago. What does that have to do with my inspection? Absolutely nothing. It felt like a deliberate attempt to shame me and avoid doing their job. I expected to be treated with respect as a customer, but instead, Scott and his uncle teamed up to make me feel unwelcome. They didn't offer to inspect my vehicle, nor did they provide an appointment, which they are legally required to do under New York State law (§ 79.8(c)--if they can't inspect your vehicle right away, they must offer an appointment within eight days). Instead, their hostile attitude left me with no choice but to walk out--it genuinely felt like they threw me out for no reason other than their own bad attitudes.

Had a flat tire on my car and called State Farm for roadside assistance. At 2 PM the call was…read moreinitiated and by 4 o'clock I had not heard back from any agent or when the estimated time of arrival for a mechanic to help me with my tire. I called State Farm once again and within two minutes I received a notification from Delarms Auto Body they will be here within 10 minutes. In less than 10 minutes the truck pulls up and the gentleman was able to change my tire and put my spare on. Without their help there was no way that tire was coming off the car. He had to use a four-way wrench with a pipe extension to put enough force to get the Lugnuts off the vehicle. I would've never been able to make that repair on the roadside especially on a dark one lane road. Delarms were quick and professional. If you in a jam give these guys a call.
