We're also sure there are other customers that have had whatever situational friction worth considering. That said, I doubt the issue lies with Cap Hill Auto. Mr. Charucksiri - Chris - has now over the past couple of years unfailingly rendered repairs and maintenance efforts of the highest quality on-time and within (sometimes under) budget. It's to the point where I texted my partner that he managed to erase history. Your opinion - and mileage - will vary, I hope. I ask you at least to have a look for yourself at the before and after attached here. If you value quality highest, I think you've found the place to go. They ordered the replacement parts quickly, coordinated everything with me clearly, and had the repairs completed within just a few days. The paint match looked perfect, and you honestly can't even tell the car was damaged. Between the body repair, electrical work, and overall customer service, I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Cons They had my car for 24 hours and i had to call them to ask for updates. They gave me 8k estimate for a full scope of work that was needed. I declined all but what my car got towed for and 3 new tires. That total cost was $1500 When my car was ready they called me 15 mins before closing so i could not get my car until the following day. Would not have been an issue but they parked my car on the street where it received a ticket. When i mentioned the ticket they collected it and said they were going to pay it. A month goes by and the ticket has not been paid and it doubled. I didn't follow back up before the month went by because my dad passed 10 days later so it was not on my mind. When i called the shop to explain about the ticket they said they don't usually pay this kind of parking ticket. Lol after it doubled they conveniently do not pay this type. All of this could have been avoided had they looked at the ticket type and called me to notify me. They will never get anymore business from me. Sad because all they had to do was call the customer. Amended 5/6 The GM Mike called me to rectify the situation. He listened to me and apologized for the level of customer service I received. Being that this location is in DC and has a small lot they easily run into issues with ticketing. He made sure the ticket was paid within an hour of our call. I appreciate small businesses and ones that make it right with their customers.

They came back with a nearly $5,000 quote for a pad, rotor and caliper replacement, plus brake fluid flush, a cracked serpentine belt, and torn bushings on my control arm. I received a call back from Chris who told me they still had the vehicle and that I could meet at their lot in DC to see it. After driving over an hour to get there I pulled into what has to be the trashiest, most run down used car lot I've ever seen. Feeling very nervous about my surroundings I went up to the shack of an office and knocked on the door. A man invited me in and asked what I was there to see. I held up my phone with the ad for the vehicle I was there to see which also showed the picture and the price. He quickly said "oh we had to raise the price on that by $400". I said ok well I'd still like to see it. He handed me the keys and said it was parked right out front. Turns out that the one on their lot was NOT the same one from the pictures in their ad and instead was a very beat up vehicle that was no where near what I saw in the ad. When I questioned them about this they said oh we accidentally used the wrong pictures. Then he told me to call Chris. I called Chris and told him that the car was the wrong one and where was the one from the ad. He said "well this one has what you are looking for doesn't it?" I told him "no" and asked where the one from the ad was. Then he hung up on me. Total bate and switch! I have rarely seen such dishonesty and shady misrepresentation in my life. This whole company was run like what you'd find in a 3rd world country. I seriously don't know how they are still in business. Please, please, don't waste your time going to these criminals. Trust me if you do find the car you're looking for there... you'll probably be worse off buying the junk they are trying to sell.

Recently, I faced a situation where one of my tires went flat after hitting a curb, and another tire had a slow leak due to a nail. The team at Mac's efficiently repaired both tires, getting me back on the road promptly. I cannot speak highly enough of Mac's when it comes to handling any tire-related problems--they truly have an exceptional crew!

At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!
