Great sandwich. I got the giant Italian with everything it was so good. The bread and the sliced fresh ingredients are amazing.

I placed an order on the APP at 11:53 AM June 20. It was confirmed received. We went to check on it after 30 minutes. After inquiring about it we were told that they had a 30 sandwich box they were working on. We sat down realizing we'd be waiting. More customers arrived and placed orders. After another 20 minutes I received a notice that our order was ready. At the counter they said that they had not started our order yet. I double checked the address to make sure we were at the right one. After confirming it I went to the counter and asked to cancel my order and credit my prepaid order. The employee balked and said he didn't think that could happen. At that point the employee making the sandwiches said that he would start my order, and did I still want it. I said if he would start right then, I will keep my order. More people were coming in placing orders. Others sitting waiting were saying "I've been waiting 30 minutes. I placed my order 40 minutes ago." Our order was completed and they bagged it up. When we got back home we realized they had LEFT OFF ONE OF THE SANDWICHES. I will be heading back there today for a credit. This was a nightmare, and how they continued to take orders while working on THREE 30 piece boxes is beyond me. Irresponsible that they continued taking orders, not communicating to customers that they would be waiting for an hour for their orders. One of the absolute worst experiences we've had from ANY restaurant. Terrible management. We do like the sandwiches there, and will go elsewhere moving forward. read more

I tried to stick up for the staff, and the older lady said, it's none of your business, straight to my face. I asked one of the employees for her name, and they said it was Mary if I can remember. I'm not sure if she is a manager or employee but she was very rude to me. I had my 7-year-old son with me and she was saying harmful things about me and my family. I definitely will not be eating here anytime soon as long as shes there! read more

On two occassions I arrived at the Sumner location about five minutes from their posted closing time, once on a Thursday night arriving at 8:50 pm and the second on a Friday evening after a high school basketball game arriving at 8:54 pm. The open sign and interior lights were on but when I entered the manager said it was too late to order even though it was before their posted closing time. Very rude manager who cared nothing about his customers and solely about getting out of there. Unlike any other Jimmy John's I have gone too. They must not care about your business. Not sure lying to their customers is the best practice. I placed an order with their app at 8:37pm, they close at 9:00. Jacob called me seven minutes later saying they just got a huge order and ran out of bread. Little did he know I was already in their parking lot and I watched two of the three dudes there fu**ing around. It was almost closing time and they didn't want to have to make a sandwich. Thought I would be able to snap a pic before inhaling my food....couldn't make it lol. Really hard between meetings! That's because the food taste good. My gold standard order here is the jjblt add hot peppers and lettuce wrapped. I honestly think it's the hot peppers that make this food taste good. Right amount of heat, right amount of flavor. I know that because I tested it today. One with and one without. I found the one without just lacking in flavor. I know there is this thought that if you have to spice up your food, that's bad because your craving either more flavor or covering up bad flavor. I think it's the former in this case I gave 3 stars for 2 reasons. Transactional service with a hint of mild neglect and consistency in food. I come here quite a bit because it's fast....supposed to be fast, among other reasons. Takes a while for your order real time to be complete so I just order online for pickup. Even still, not ready in time. That's fine. Take your time putting my food together. I like it. I always feel like I don't exist much when I come in. Just not welcoming or inviting. The consistency is a big deal. My blts will lack in bacon or Mayo or peppers from time to time. There were a few times I got a nice mouthful of Mayo and lettuce lol. The Cubana is my favorite. The price not so much. If it wasn't for their amazing bread, I might consider eating somewhere else. Their bread though, amazing! Their own chips, amazing! The gargantuan can feed the whole family and that's a statement for 4 kiddos. I will be back again. read more

Right next to Fred Meyer and Starbucks this location is pretty new and I like to come here when I'm in Sumner. I usually am able to do most of my shopping when I am in the vicinity of this Jimmy Johns. The staff has good customer service and they do make a pretty quick sub. What ya expect they are freaky fast! Overall I would take my family here and will be coming back again in the near future. read more

Food is always prepared to my small customizations. I order from here because it's the only semi decent local delivery. The problem is that they are excruciatingly slow. I have given them so many chances thinking this would be a temporary issue but it's not. I've now waited an hour and 35 minutes for my delivery order. I made an online order at 6:19 for asap pick up. Our order wasn't ready until 7pm. What frustrated me was not the wait time but the fact that the employees had no sense of hustle or urgency. They casually chatted behind the counter while sauntering too and fro. Not a mask in sight other than the employees hardly wearing them correctly. They let ever Sumner wonder boy walk right through the doors with the mask required sign on them and didn't confront anyone about it. I counted 7/10 customers inside during a pandemic waiting for their food, all mask less the entire time. Our order was wrong, tomatoes when we didn't want them and an unwich made with bread. Woman manager (short, early thirties, dark hair, ponytail) thinks she is managing the White House. There was a very competent young man working at the register. The manager woman was making sandwiches. As customers would ask the man at the register questions (in process of ordering), instead of allowing him to respond, the woman would scream the answer from the sandwich line. Just to make sure everyone knew she was in charge. She was very excited to be the boss. After TWENTY minutes of waiting for my food (not freaky fast in any universe-- and it was not at all busy), my order was messed up. They handed me our sandwiches. I had to ask for a BAG. No napkins at all. I took the bag to my car, checked it out, and came back in with the messed up sandwich + my receipt to the register. Here came the loud lady again! Instead of letting me quietly talk with the man at the register, she screamed at me "I CAN'T TAKE THAT FOOD BACK!" I said "I'm not asking you to. I just wanted what I ordered." She said "throw that one in the trash." Ok thanks teacher. Nobody ever apologized nor thanked me. That Jimmy John's sucks. Or at least they need a new freaking manager. Have been going to Jimmy John's for years now. As far as subs go, they are by far my favorite. My most recent visit though was pretty disappointing. I typically get the #12 Beach Club or the Gar. I have never been disappointed with either. This time, I was just picking up plain slims for the kids 15 & 16 seeing as how they just like plain sandwiches. Honestly between subs and pizza I occasionally have doubts if they are my kids. So I stop by this location in Sumner real quick, which I have been to a few times before. The boy's Italian slim is just fine, exactly how likes it. My daughter's sandwich though was pitiful. She gets the roast beef. It literally had 1 slice of meat. 1 single slice of meat. It reminded of those pictures you see of packaged food that only has something in the little window and the rest of the package is empty. I may go back occasionally for a sandwich for myself or the wife, but I will certainly never pick one up for the kids again. Certainly not worth going out of your way for. read more

Just tried ordering 2 sandwiches from the Jimmy John's in Sumner WA. For delivery. After selecting what I wanted, paid for it. Got my confirmation number. Received a call from Jimmy John's saying they could not deliver because they have NO delivery drivers. (Breach of contract) There was no mention of them not being able to do deliveries any where on web site. (Possible false advertising). And since I have no way of going down and picking up my order. (Semis are not allowed where there store is except for deliveries) I won't be having dinner tonight! (Pain and suffering maybe?). And to make things even better. I called ahead and gave them the address to our worksite 3 miles away, they assured me that they could deliver. So I placed a lunch order for the 4 guys onsite. 45 minutes later they call back and say they're not going to deliver because we're out of they're delivery range. After explaining that we are relying on this for todays lunch, and offering to pay an additional trip charge they still wouldn't deliver. If they would have said this up front I would have understood, that's literally why I called to ask if we were in range. Ordered over 45 min ago and still nothing. So we called and they said that it was placed for pickup??? However we pre-paid for delivery with a $6 tip for delivery and they even confirmed our address over the phone before we hung-up. What the heck. Came in to get Sammies for my kiddos and could not believe my ears when the gentleman told me that he could not add mayo that the sandwich did not have mayo. There are jug after jug on the shelf above you sir slap some on there. He then told me he could hand me a mayo packet. wtf? It is just a power thing at that point because I am sure the packets cost the company more than just slapping on a tablespoon of mayo. I never leave bad reviews. But every time I have come here it has taken at least 40+ minutes to make one sandwich and I have come at various times in the day. Sometimes there's no one in line yet somehow it still takes a absurd amount of time. Not to mention the customer service is some of the worst I've ever seen. Everyone is whispering and no one is friendly or attentive to any customer that walks in. The past two times I've tried to door dash a sandwich from them they have called and cancelled my order because they "don't have enough drivers". Awful costumer service! I ordered online for my family and waited 45mins and still no delivery. I called the store and was told that they did not have a driver and my order could not be placed so they voided my transaction to my card.. This was order was placed on a few weeks ago on a Sunday so i gave the benefit of the doubt even though i was never called and made aware of the situation. Then this past sunday my family wanted sandwiches for i gave this place another try. I ordered online, it stated on my tracker that the order was received i waited again , after one hour called them and was told that their driver called out at the last minute. this time i was less then understanding and told them i was never called AGAIN! and I found it funny that again on a Sunday there is a issue with their driver. the guy told me its staffing issues, well if that's the case then change your website not to accept deliveries.. they have no trouble taking your money but can not produce their product! now i have to wait 3-5 days to have my money refunded again. I have always been in love with the Vito. After dropping off my nephew at my sister's house, my husband and I decided to stop at this location (usually we eat at the Renton location). We both order the Vito but I requested hot peppers on mine. I also asked for extra vinaigrette. He said okay, then I said I don't just want extra, I want a lot like a ridiculous amount. He laughed and smiled and said he got it. I was excited and trusted that I was going to be getting the Vito I'm used to at the Landing. So of course I gave him a good tip. The Vito was gross at this location. My husband is not picky like me and he even said they were dry and disappointing tasting. Not only was the bread dry, it didn't taste fresh like it normally does. The hot peppers were 5 stars on their own but that is 1 element of the Vito. Tomatoes were also a let down, they were unripe and bitter. The most important part to me is the vinaigrette. I like there to be so much that my bread absorbs some. There was practically none. My husband doesn't like as much sauce but he even was surprised and said it tasted like they barely put any on. The only reason this isn't one star is because even though the guy couldn't follow directions, he was friendly and their cookies are delicious! Never had a problem here even when my monkey child is being rather loud the employees were super kind and talked to her to keep her busy while our sandwiches were being finished. The only bad thing I have to say is parking is horrible due to other customers parking in front to go to pizza place down the way or across the street to football games. I like Jimmy Johns, and almost always order the Beach Club on wheat. Quality is consistent and always fresh....BUT... it annoys the heck out of me that the delivery drivers always use up the customer parking spaces, specifically the 15 minute and 30 minute max parking spots. During a recent rainy spell I skipped JJs because no parking was available. But the delivery guys had monopolized the parking that was clearly intended for customers. Same issue when I went to the Starbucks next door another day. Every time I go by there, same thing. Mr. Owner, your drivers can walk from the Fred Meyer lot, so how about some common sense here?
