I was skeptical how this would be possible with a sub-4 rating, but I was also too intrigued to not eventually try it for myself. Trying it finally happened, and yeah, it really was what I thought. The Bill's Burger (noted as the most popular) was perfectly fine. Nothing really stood out about it. I didn't love it or hate it, it was just kind of there. I would compare it to like an In-N-Out burger, and definitely below the tier of Five Guys. But I also almost never eat fast food, so I don't really consider that company to be very complimentary. I also heard that the steak sandwich was amazing, and I did enjoy it more, but it's not something I'd be rushing back to try again. It was perfectly fine too. I did enjoy the parmesan fries, especially with the side of BBQ sauce for dipping. And the people working here were very friendly. But would this even crack a Top 50 burger list for me? Ironically, I used to love Blimpie's oven‑style toast before Subway even offered it. They do have a separate oven for melting cheese, and that part I absolutely recommend. For $1.29 you can grab a self‑serve cookie--critical, because I can select the front‑row cookie with the maximum chip‑to‑dough ratio. Fresh daily, solid flavor, very Subway‑adjacent.
