I was only the second person in the shop, and i was waiting at the counter for around 10 mins before being helped. I got a latte and a scramble, and they were a little overpriced in my opinion, but i did want to try a speciality latte so I suppose that's to be expected. I got their beetroot latte and to be honest that was the best thing about this experience!! It was so earthy, creamy, and warming, i loved it. No notes on my latte!! Now the food was not hitting for me. I got the breakfast scramble with sourdough toast and asked for no mayo. I received mayo. And the toast might have been the THINNEST sourdough ive ever seen??? Look at it! Idk. I love bread so i was expecting ... more than an eighth of an inch of it? Anyway, the scramble was meh and i just used napkins to wipe off the mayo. Just a bummer, i am probably going to other coffee shops over this one in the future.

My daughter was very young and very close to my mom, and I thought it might make her feel better if I got her a small corsage (since her brothers would be wearing flowers as pallbearers). I knew they had flowers so I thought I'd ask. That's when I learned that they do them all the time for dances, weddings, and yep - funerals. They made it small and pretty and it was perfect. They even cut me a discount because it was small. My daughter loved it. We dried it and she still has it in her keepsakes. So ever since then I have gone to them for all of my son's dance corsages. They let me pick what I want and they will bring all of the ribbons on a specific color out for me to choose what I want. One time it didn't turn out how I wanted, there was a confusion on the instructions. They were very kind and even though she was so busy getting all of her dance orders finished she took the time to make me a new one while I waited. The price is decent, they are generally $25 for a corsage unless you want extras, and they will do matching boutonnieres. This is cheaper than I've found from a few nearby florists and they really do a good job. They appreciate orders ahead of time, but the florist told me she always makes a few extras in dance days to keep in the display fridge for those last minute kids. :) I really like this florist. The flowers are easy on those high school kids' wallets, and they do a great job. I highly recommend them!

The pharmacy has a drive-thru and the techs and Pharmacists are extremely nice as well. This location lacks in a few areas though. First, pricing. Maybe I'm deceiving myself but the prices seem higher than the big Wal Mart down the hill. Maybe they charge a little more for convenience? They also don't price match any longer at the neighborhood market which was nice when you saw something you liked on ad at another store. Selection is smaller (to be expected with the smaller footprint of the store) but sometimes this gets downright irritating. The worst part about this store is the out of stocks. Limited footprint is one thing, but what you DO have space for should be in stock. There are always empty shelves in this store and sometimes entire categories are just wiped out. There's nothing convenient about coming here if I can't get what I want or need and have to go to another store to get it anyway. If they could get in stock and stay in stock it would go a long way to improving their service.

I've been coming to this location for years, and the thing that makes this store a "neighborhood market" is Steve. Steve has worked here for years, and he greets people by name, chats them up for a few minutes, and truly gives a neighborhood vibe to this store. He's extremely helpful and always upbeat with a smile on his face. This is how stores used to be "back in the day." I don't think I'm old enough to use that phrase, and yet - there it is. It's very refreshing to walk up the aisle with my cart towards the checkout area, knowing that Steve will be there to say, "Hey Jim! How's life?" I find myself looking for him whenever I get to the front of the store. There are many employees here who are also very friendly and helpful. I feel bad that I don't know their names, but I definitely know their faces, and I appreciate their efforts to brighten people's' days.
