When I called to see what could be done I was told they could write down my name and next time I would have for free. The guy with the ponytail and glasses took our order and my mom was trying to figure out what she wanted, mind you there was no one else in the store and it was not busy at all. He was so rude to my mom and rushed her when ordering and he was very rude and he kept saying what do you want, in a rude tone and couldn't even give her a second to look at the menu. This is my first time getting food here, we ordered ahead of time and somehow still had to wait. The person working seemed very confused when I was ordering. None of their signs were on so I don't know how I was supposed to know they were open. They had bad service but maybe it was just my experience. TBH, I don't usually go to Jimmy John's - I wasn't a fan of cold subs for a long time. So this was actually my first time ordering something other than drinks off the menu. PROS: -My sub was very tasty, and at $6.99 or so (for the larger club sub thing) it wasn't too bad price-wise either. Recently at work we had JJ's catering so I knew I wanted to try the Italian club. -Friendly service and clean restaurant. -The deli pickle I ordered was also really tasty. (FYI, it's about $1.25 extra though) CONS: -I was asked if I wanted a larger cup for water, and it was 27 cents apparently. Weird, but okay. -Layout of the store is a little weird. Napkins were behind the counter apparently (not in front of it), etc. I'm not usually in South Lyon but I will definitely be checking JJ's out again for its Italian sub :) very tasty. read more

I know every store has their own prices but it shouldn't be such a big difference with the same sandwich. A blt is around $5 to $6 in Ann Arbor. And if you add extra bacon you get up to like 10 piece. So I never order from here using the regular amount I order that and got 7 total. Charged me 1.85 for 3 piece. Is that considered normal? I lived in Chicago for two years and it never took over 30 minutes to get a sandwich from Jimmy Johns. But this location consistently takes 40 minutes to deliver. I LIVE ACROSS THE STREET. There's no way that's anything other than gross negligence of their brand slogan. I could walk there and pick up it up and be home again faster. We are 3 miles away from this location and when "Delivery" was selected through online ordering it took my address for delivery and processed everything as normal. 1.5 hrs later, we have no food delivered. Check the emailed receipt and the system switched us from delivery to PICK UP without notifying us. So, there was at least a 1:1 ratio of customers to employees. Yet, it still took nearly 10 minutes to get three subs. They love tomato and think I must too. Three times I have gone to the drive-thru and three times they have given me tomato when I asked them not to. I dont understand why they wont give me a sub without tomato. They acknowledge that I say "no tomato" they even repeat it back. But all three times I have driven here they have given me the tomato. Very sad when a Manager at a local restaurant is rude to an elder woman who is unable to leave her home without assistance. I realize to a younger person who may not have to count every penny, would think being over charged under a $1 would seem very unimportant, but when you are over 70 years old, cant leave your home without assistance, have to pay every individual who comes to your home to aid you in your older/not healthy state and being on a fixed income, maybe you would understand. Gross and slow!! I never write reviews but this needs to be shared while I was waiting for my sandwich to be made and the entire time I was eating it there was a young lady with darker hair and tattoos all the way up both arms that was in the center on a prep station slicing up deli meat in preparation for sandwiches the entire time she's doing it with her gloves on she's grabbing her phone texting setting it down on the counter then grabbing meat picking her phone up again texting back-and-forth The entire time never taking her gloves off or changing them people carry their phones with them everywhere it is absolutely disgusting for her to grab her phone and then touch food that is being served and this happened at least 20 times just what I was eating. I eat at Jimmy John's for lunch every single day Monday through Friday and have been to most of the Jimmy John's anywhere in the metro area the sandwich here was gross did not taste good and the only time I had ever had a Jimmy John's sandwich that did not taste identical to all the rest of the stores. I was also not greeted when I came into the store or when I left the store which really honestly does not matter to me but this is the first store I have walked into an half of the employees have not greeted me so I'm assuming this is a corporate standard for the franchise.
