Kathryn and Jim were the friendliest people I've met in Kentucky! They were happy to make my order and it was completed even before it was rung up for me to pay. I was trying to count calories and they helped me save 110 by allowing me to go easy on the cheese. I know jimmy johns for the commercials and just as another sub shop. Now, however, I see it as a true neighborhood friendly place. Good food, good people... who were actually strangers that provided good laughs! so we had been in Paducah this afternoon and decided to stop in at Jimmy John's on Hinkleville Rd (mall location) and grab 2 combos. I asked if tomatoes came on the sandwich I was ordering and was rudely told all sandwiches came with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. So I proceeded to order my sandwich no tomato no oregano/basil and no oil and vinegar we pay and wait on the sandwiches. I wanted tea so I got the ice and started to get the tea when it ran out and asked the girl if she had more tea when she rudely said no were out. Ok so she's not having a good day but no reason to have an attitude we get our sandwiches and head home to IL and we sat down to eat and my husbands wrap was nice and full and heavy my sandwich had no weight to it at all and when I opened it I saw why. I wish I could post pictures, my sandwich had no Mayo which was supposed to come on it, and was full of onions ( I did order extra cause usually there is like 2 onions total on the sandwich but it was excessive) next to no lettuce and a very thin layer of meat and cheese. Basically I paid $12 for a bread and onion sandwich and had to add Mayo when I got home. I was never going to go to this location again. I called the lone oak store and spoke to that manager and she apologized for the rude employee but that I could care less about I was more bothers over my bread and onion sandwich. I wasn't offered a refund or a free sandwich nothing was just told they would call that store to see what happened like the employee is going to say yea I was rude. So I will no longer spend my money at big John's when there is a plethora of other food options in that area. read more

Recently, my family and I were headed to bike a nature trail and wanted to grab sandwiches beforehand.
