#7 Italian with a smudge of Tuna?
Gen M.

Was in the area and craved an Italian so I stopped by here. The customer service was meh... the staff weren't engaged too much with their customers and more with each other's personal conversations in front of us customers. What did bother me was that my sandwich was made so sloppily. I ordered a #7 Spicy East Coast Italian but it came with a smudge of tuna on the bottom of my bread. I scraped it off but it totally killed the taste of my sandwich and I was too afraid to ask the older lady to remake it because she didn't seem too approachable especially with all her complaining.

Since the Covid hit , we stopped cold for eating out a lots. Today we tried to wandering out of our comfort zones to help the local businesses which hit very hard recently months. We came in to this place because it partnered with our Church which would donate their percentage for a good cause. It was win-win for both by doing this fund raising. You even smelled of the breads from this restaurant far away. We ordered a new special Cuban sandwich 18 inches and 8 inches roast beef sandwiches. These sandwiches were delicious and awesome. The tastes so riches in flavors , with freshly made. Services here were also fast and friendly, even going extra miles to recommend and help. Will probably coming back to this place for sure in the later days. This place also applied all the regulations to the masks and social distance accordingly to protect the customers.

Inside of the Beach Club... thin meat.

This is the first time my hubby & I have tried Jimmy johns. We were in search of something different during a Hot California day. I seen the commercial for the summer Chicken wraps. I tried the Thai chicken wrap & asked for extra Tomato ( which Ivan did Not do, instead he added Extra Mayo) seriously.... We ate at home so didn't realize that till we sat to eat & looked at the receipt. That was annoying. Let me say that was the two stars worth. It was different & Good, Not GREAT But JUST Good. Unfortunately the tortilla wrap was much more than the actual filling ( Chicken & Veg/ Lettuce). How ever what I found Gross was the amount of dressing that dripped out the end as I bit through which was Not evenly spread through the wrap. Would I eat it again? Yes with less Mayo or dressing. Also ONE IMPORTANT fact, the Wrap IS SMALL ( length of a Napkin) . But Okay for me , a small eater. It was was $9.25 Second item was the Beach club at $8.25 which I would Never come back for. Unfortunately the size of sandwich is NOT for a Grown Man. Maybe two young kids can share. Price was decent but Again the Bread was much more of this sandwich ingredient than the chinsey amount of thinly sliced meat. So basically my hubby was eating a lot of Bread. There is a lot of parking, inside is Clean & Employees are Blah. Lesson learned.

I have been here twice and specifically ask for no Mayo and they totally screwed up my sandwich. I'll never go here again.

Hair left on purpose

Omg! Horrible horrible horrible the bad reviews about this place are right! They don't get your order right at all ! I drove all the way back to get my money back and they gave me another sandwich with a hair on it (I'm sure it was on purpose) since I got into it with the manager there and she was acting like it was my fault . That's y I checked for any hair before eating it and sure enough there was never again. What's sad is this is exactly why the manager will always work at a fast food restaurant some people aren't made for anything but that.

Sad sandwich!!!! This location is trash. They didnt even put the cheese on it or cut in half as requested

This location is trash. My sandwich is wrong it's missing normal ingredients that comes on this sandwich and requested ingredients. I preordered my sandwiches and they didn't start making it until I walked in. There was no one else waiting and no orders being worked on. It was dead in there and now I know why. Took 15 minutes for me to get two very sad sandwiches. Time for new employees and management

They say third times the charm... in this case it wasn't. I really hoped I could learn to like this place, but after ordering here the other day I just felt sick. The unwich had a sloppy lettuce wrapping that looked almost like a taco holding the contents of my "sandwich," the bacon... oh dear .... looked straight out of a cold pack - no crunch and super salty I tossed it out.... and the "avocado" spread...it's green and watery and appears to have come out of a bag. I've had a better experience before, but this time the sloppiness of my sandwich really highlighted the poor quality ingredients used, and for almost $10! No bueno..... I learned my lesson!

I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of the other half beforehand.

The guys here are great. They're super fast and they're efficient. This is literally the best sandwich shop I have ever stepped into. The sandwiches are good, my personal favorite is the #16, the Club Lulu. It consists of sliced turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Add salt and pepper to any sandwich and I promise you it changes the whole dynamic of the flavor. Though I am a huge fan of the french bread, I do also love the wheat. Their catch phrase is "subs so fast, you'll freak", and honestly the sandwiches are definitely done very fast. I highly recommend giving Jimmy John's a shot.

Great sandwiches. My family ordered a bunch. The vegetarian sub was really good. Glad they had the option for me. ;)

We ordered extra meat and extra cheese on our subs. Warning! It's super hard to eat but decent for a sub chain.

Before you read my review, you should know this about me: 1. I'm a southern Californian born in Taiwan. 2. I've lived in north Orange County all my life minus the four years I spent in UT for college. 3. I love to eat, and refuse to eat anything I don't think taste good. REFUSE. 4. I don't mind spending money to eat well. 5. My parents owned two sandwich shops while I was growing up. I worked there as a kid, through college and beyond, so I'm a big fan of mom and pop shops. If you need a snapshot: Service - 4/5 - prompt, on it, though she forgot a few things ;) Food Quality - 5/5 Selection - 4/5 Pricing - 5/5 Parking (ease, available) - 5/5 I have seen this place several times when I would visit the 99 Ranch Market if I'm driving down Artesia instead of another street and wondered if it's any good. Telling my husband, he became interested. We tried it the day after Christmas in 2025. We had four sandwiches (yes, we're piggies): - polish sausage: mustard and pickles, came with melted mozz cheese on top - turkey avocado: I asked for the vinegar oil dressing on top - pastrami: mustard and pickles, and I asked for onions on top - turkey bacon avocado: everything was so good, we decided to get a fourth...lol What is so GREAT about this place is the woman behind the counter. She is warm and friendly and you can tell, humble. The bread is from Glasso's (because any sandwich shop that doesn't use Glasso's will never be great), produce and meats are fresh and the bacon is crispy and not greasy. In other words, JUST LIKE MY MOM'S!!!! I cannot believe how good everything was. No Philly Cheese by Juline, kids. So sorry. But only my mom did that well any way. I will DEFINITElY be going back again!!!!

I felt like a sandwich so my partner and I came here because I wanted to support a local business and skip Jersey Mike's. Unfortunately, I wish I had just gone there. Ordered an avocado and bacon submarine. It was ready quickly, which was nice. The sandwich itself was very sad. The bread was the wonder-bread version of a submarine baguette. There were a few sad strips of bacon that had clearly been sitting a while. It was very light on all the ingredients and didn't have much flavor. I won't be back. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it was easy to access, quick, and the avocado on the sandwich was a decent amount.

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. We waited for quite a bit in the heat even though we visited at an off hour (on a Sunday). Also, there's a nearby park closer to Uptown you can enjoy your sandwiches.

Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.
