So my wife and I were excited for this place to open. Unfortunately, big disapointment! "Gourmet"....Really? Most obvious was they hide all the meats, and "free" ad-ons etc. Behind this big stainless steel hood. Any top of the line place slices your deli meat in front of you. This was my first time to Jimmy John's. The guy at the register was SUPER informative and personable as heck. I wish I had gotten his name. He explained how the menu works and even made some good recommendations. There were only 3 other customers in the restaurant and this cashier gave us STELLAR service. No other restaurant has done this (only if their manager is watching lol). Now, to the sandwiches... boring. The bread is hard and thick. The meats aren't very flavorful. Toppings are limited. If the sandwiches were as good as they look, I would leave 5 stars. This 4 star review is simply due to the customer service being AMAZING. Probably won't go back, unless someone else is paying! Me being all picky about my food my close friend recommended me the JImmy "jims" sandwich place around the corner from where i live. He stated, " One bite from that Sub and you'll have a mouth orgasm. You wont even want to go back to Subway." That afternoon I headed out to Jimmy Jims and went to try one of these famous sandwiches my friend was talking about. I arrived at the destination and read the name.. JImmy John's, my friend is dumb. First thought I had before going in. As i enter the place I get greeted by these friendlyass people. The Vibe in there is.. how do you say, " dope as fuck?" The furniture has a cozy feeling to it. Yes, it doesnt have a home feeling because... be real who the fuck has furniture that cool in their house? But anyways... Went here for the first time last Monday because a friend suggested that I try Jimmy Johns. Great tasting subs here I had to go back the very next day. Subs are about $7.50 but so worth it. Just got back from this location on their $1 sub customer appreciation day, 4/21/16. Man, these guys NAILED IT. Fast, efficient service all with a smile. For being a gourmet sandwich shop, there's nothing gourmet about the bread, meats, or sandwich fillers. There's only one type of bread, and it's not all that great tasting. It's over priced for the quality they are trying to sell the sandwich for. I get a better tasting sandwich at subway than what I would at JJs. Last time I go here, and I don't see this place lasting long. read more

"Manager" Girardo was completely useless. Although we're only 1 mile away we were told that it was out of their delivery window. We have ordered multiple times from the same location and never have any issues until now. Apparently jimmy johns audits how far their drivers go travel. I went there today for the first time and I was guided through the menu and received recommendations, My girlfriend and I got the #9 and #12, as per recommendation, and it tasted great. Well, I would go back to Jimmy Johns before I would go to subway, but that's not saying much. I ordered the tuna which was fine, but I wish they had more than 1 type of roll to choose from. My biggest complaint was that I couldn't see what condiments they were putting on. They were hidden behind the counter and they didn't ask what I wanted on my sandwich. All other sub chains that I can think of (subway, togos, jersey mikes) ask which veggies and condiments you want as they make your sandwich. I work down the street from this location so I go here very regularly. The restaurant is always well staffed, chips are well stocked and the place is clean. The service is quick which is very important since I only get a 30 minute lunch break. I have never tried the delivery service but I see them delivering to the guests at my hotel all the time. read more

the staff here are extremely friendly and are faster than lightning! I tried 6 different sandwiches here and they all had virtually no taste. I'm not a huge fan of subway, but after eating here, it made me wish that I had ordered from there instead. (not a good sign) on a positive note, if you're ordering several sandwiches for an unplanned luncheon but just don't care if they taste great and want them in a hurry, this place can probably pump out 100 sandwiches in 10 minutes! read more

Tried for first time today, as we live close by. Great location with adequate parking and is decorated nicely. Big menu posted but it's a lot to read. I chose the super club turkey with avocado and cucumbers. Great sandwich. My husband said he likes this place better than Subway, cuz they didn't ask you questions about what you wanted on his sandwich so it was quicker. I found out by sitting there and reading the menu board more that they have peppers; apparently you can "Jimmy it up"...I wish the clerk behind the counter would have asked us if it was our first time and explained the whole process; as you can get freebies on your sandwiches like the peppers or basil flakes. Great Jimmy chips, BBQ and sea salt very crunchy. All the staff was very friendly. They even deliver. We're def coming again. read more

While my sandwich was fine, the service I received was horrible. My friend and I went in there as first time customers, not knowing exactly how to order. So we stared at menu for a few seconds, with no greeting from the cashier (Vanessa). I finally said "oh sorry, we've never been here before" and the only response I received was a blank stare. We then gave Vanessa our orders and started to walk away. She then called out and informed us to grab our cups. After we did so, she didn't direct us to the drinking fountains (which are a bit down the hall) and gave us no instruction on how our order would be delivered or called out. We sat down, and eventually realized our orders had been called out by the name of the sandwich. We collected our sandwiches and realized we never got our chips. We had to physically look for them & realized they were under the register, and had to reach around the person who was now ordering. Another thing to mention was that Vanessa did not have her up, or in a Hair net & was walking around the kitchen. Later on we decided to call the store to tell the manager of our experience. We were directed to an "Eddie" who I do not believe is the manager, but maybe a shift lead. He seemed very unprofessional & very uncomfortable that we were complaining. I almost felt like I was inconveniencing him by letting him know how the front of his business is being perceived. Obviously some better training on customer interaction is HIGHLY needed. read more

I ordered 2 # 12's with bacon at the Norwalk California store today 8/13/17. I asked if bacon could be added and cooked crispy since the bacon is always rubbery. I was told they did not have a microwave. I said thats fine, just put the bacon on the side and I'll microwave at home. I was told "NO, we can't put bacon on the side"! If I'm paying for the extra bacon, why the hell do they care where the bacon is placed? Furthermore, the avacado spread was placed between the provolone cheese slices making the cheese all gross! Put the freaking avacado spread on the bread! I'm done, i can get a sandwich made MY way at Jersey Mike's! read more
