I had been a customer of theirs, for about fourteen years. Everything was great, I would order at least twice a week, maybe more when out with friends, I'd buy theirs. I would always ask for my French bread to be soft. After a while, the bottom was so hard you tap it and can hear it. I'd call and tell them. I loved the gargantuan,, but it's not worth breaking my teeth. Found a new. place definitely better and they do the one that i like much better. I've visited this location a number of times since I work right down the street. I love the online ordering system because by the time I click "order" and walk there my food is ready! This location is doing a fantastic job of following all safety protocols and makes sure the pick up stand is right by the door so you don't have to travel too far into the building. All the employees greet you and say goodbye which makes it feel like they truly care. My only complaint is that sometimes this location is out of certain ingredients which means I have to resort to my second choice sandwich. My second JJ's in Milwaukee, this is the first time that I've been in one. Fast... freaky fast. Order, pay, sandwich done before you can even fill up your cup with Coke. Zip! Everything accurate, wrapped nicely. What's not to love? Tip: The calories, fat and sodium on these sandwiches is off the chart. You know what you're going to get at Jimmy Johns, and this location delivers exactly that. Sandwiches - they are pretty good. I like the Beach Club which is full of veggies. I do appreciate that I always ask for no tomatoes or mayo and never once have I received my food incorrectly. Service - I have never been tempted to "freak" over the speed of their sandwich making but they don't f**k around either. I could do without the faux smart mouth from the emo kids that work here, but I think it's JJ's corporate policy. Price - minus stars here. I mean, it's a sub and a decent one for all that but a sandwich, chips and soda is $8 which is steep. Conclusion - JJ's is WAY better than Subway in terms of service but it's priced accordingly. They'll deliver, so if you're in urgent need of a ham sandwich but too lazy (or drunk) to drive they'll come to you. read more

I like the food and the delivery has always been good. But I've pretty much figured that the place must really suck to work for. Every couple of weeks when I order subs for delivery I get different people on the phone and different delivery people -- some are sharp and friendly others are clearly challenged. On first calling I seemingly got the "um like... Okay.. What? You're like totally interrupting my mascara application??!!" employee. I knew what I wanted, had credit card in hand, simple short order, and it took 30 minutes to place. The phone was passed around to multiple employees, put on hold twice. It was a bit of a train wreck, but finally we got our order placed! Even though we were 0.2 miles away, the delivery took about 40 minutes. If it wasn't freezing I would have walked to get it myself.(we are vacationing with no vehicle). With the long wait time, I was worried our subs may become soggy, but was Pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh they were when they finally arrived. I called them at 5:08, they delivered at 5:27. Literally less than 20 minutes it took them! The person taking my order and the person who delivered were friendly, kind AND the delivery guy even had a sweet purple pen! On top of all that, they had Dr. Pepper! It's the simple things, man. You can't beat not having the leave work! One complaint for corporate is that the online ordering system said they were closed but when I called there was no problem taking my order and delivering it within 20 minutes of each other. read more

In the working world, where a fast lunch is frequently a requirement, this place delivers decent sandwiches with a great assortment of fixin's for a nice price. This particular location is a hole in the wall that you'd walk past and miss if you blinked, but my colleagues go on a regular basis so helped me find it with ease. Evidently they also have a delivery service, since we were able to order lunch for our work group without having to pick it up. They use typical soft-crusted American breads--though it's at least fresh and non-chemical tasting--so don't be misled by their description of their "crusty" French bread sub. They're generous with their toppings so one sandwich is more than sufficient for a midday meal. read more

Everytime I've ordered they give me EXACTLY what I want...and I'm a pain...double each and every meat...extra cheese...etc., so I'm not sure what one of the other reviewers experienced here...must have been a new employee that didn't know what he was doing that day. We were there WELL before the 6pm closing time posted on here Google. No store hours were posted. At 4pm we were told they were closing, but we were welcome to stay. My husband left to walk 10 minutes in the cold & snow to get our car, so my girls & I sat in our booth & waited. The lovely staff decided to turn off the lights, which was as good as telling us to get the f@ck out. We then stood in a cold hallway waiting to be picked up. REAL nice customer service. Don't bother heading here because they clearly don't put customers first. I hope the franchise owner knows this is how the kids in charge are running their business. read more

Unfortunately, this is the store we order from most because its the closest to our place of business. The other unfortunate thing is that 8-10 times we order, the order is incorrect. Me personally, when I've ordered for myself, I have yet for them to get the order correct. Either they forget an item completely or the sandwiches are not as ordered. Today we had a office event and ordered several sandwiches to be delivered at lunchtime. All of the sandwiches were delivered incorrectly. (i.e. without the ingredients we ordered...paid for xtra of certain things with no "extra", etc.) When I called to complain, the manager told us we had to RETURN the sandwiches in order to get new ones....Obviously, no one wanted to do that since we are now 20 minutes into our lunch time...Long story short DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION! The manager is an idiot. Who requires that you return some sandwiches to make the order right?????? Customer service training much needed here.. Since I've started working downtown 3 years ago I usually order lunch from the Water st. location due to our short lunch breaks and JJ's has always came through. Horrible service!! "Freaky fast" is a myth. I work three blocks away from this location. I ordered my sub (one sub) and after 35 minutes of waiting (my lunch was now over), I called to tell them to cancel my order. I got put on hold for FOUR minutes and then given attitude with a, "well we only have so many employees" excuse for their bad service. Don't advertise you're freaky fast then. It is my opinion, that the manager at the Water St location is unprofessional and carries out poor customer service. I had placed an order online and it hadn't come an hour later. When I called the Water St. location, I realized that I had made an address error on my order form to which I fully admitted, however I also included my email and phone number on my order to which nobody tried contacting me because of the error. I simply asked for some help as I had been waiting a while already and I was told (with a strong attitude) that I would need to place my order all over again with another location; without an apology offered or any other offer. I wasn't looking for a discount, but just some help or ease through the ordering process so that I wouldn't have to start/complete a whole other order again. Could they have transferred me to the right location to place my order or the very least given me the phone number of the location?... I work in customer service myself and when there is an error whether it's made on my end or the customer's, there's always something that I try to do for them as I know what it would feel like in their shoes. This is not the first experience that I've heard of coming from this location. Hopefully I won't run into this again. read more
