My go-to is a Jimmy John's turkey unwich with all of my toppings. It's essentially a sub wrapped in lettuce instead of bread if you're watching your waistline as I always am. It's a great alternative! The food is always fast and fresh. The service was pleasant at this location. Which is nice and conveniently located to midtown and Edgewater. And it was nice and clean inside as well. Definitely a great healthy option location to add to your lunch list! read more

Yeah they are fast. Fast to close early. Door was locked and place cleaned up prior to closing. They pretty much closed down 20 mins early. Things happen but this location also keeps changing the hours. I'll definitely hesitate coming back towards the evening. read more

Never going back. With 2 kids who work their, blasting rap while they work I was able to order a #5 to the sounds of "n*gga" about every other word. My greeting? Well it was a nod and a "you gonna order" I order the #5 the "Vito" and the sandwich maker hollowed out the bread so he could place the lettuce in this area. I don't recall a paper thin sandwich and discarding the inner bread as the way this sandwich shop works? Still blasting music, the f*cks and n*gga being rained down on me as I received my sandwich, I decide to take it "to-go". Have your ghetto sandwich club. I'm done with this franchise indefinitely. I ordered a roast beef sandwich , and to my surprise no roast beef in it , two thin pieces , I gave them the benefit of the doubt even after everyone told me about the skimping of the cold cuts , they called me to offer me a free sub and I denied the the return service even to give me a free sub .. the worst 13$ I've ever spent .. sub yay Orr Publix is my only place for subs from now on . read more

I don't have a jimmy johns near me where I live, but a disgusting sandwich is not what I expected. My order was made completely wrong (didn't open it until I got to the beach) and when I called to see what they could do they had a terrible attitude with me and offered me a new sandwich. But the first one was so disgusting I couldn't even go back in there. The restaurant itself was disgusting and there's literally a sign to tell people not to spit (who needs that reminder in a restaurant?). My suggestion is to take your business to Jersey Mikes because they slice the sandwich and top it in front of you so you know what you're getting. I'll never be back to Jimmy John's. read more

I live .2 miles from this location and my last four attempts at ordering have taken over 45 minutes for delivery for two sandwiches and a couple bags of chips. Freaky fast false advertiAlso i dont really care how my pickle gets cut but why ask if you're going to cut it the opposite way as requested? Every time. At least that's consistent. An update: I've been ordering jimmy johns pretty consistently since this incident and have had no further let downs to date. Idk what has changed but this location is now amazing and the deliveries are incredibly fast! And accurate. Very impressed thank you!! read more

It's a 6 minute walk to get to Jimmy Johns so I order instead and expect the delivery to be quick. They get the job done within 20 minutes tops, not bad timing for 3 sandwiches and a few sides but I would like for them to shorten the time. It shouldn't take 15 minutes for them to be made. I guess I shouldn't complain really. read more

These guys are INSANE! My order shows up at my door 15 minutes after placing it! just like in the commercials. Actually on my last order when I opened the door, I said "you guys are f#ckin crazy fast" The sandwiches are always tasty and consistent. Good Job read more

The food is whatever and I can bake better cookies myself. But I am most disappointed with the management. This place is a scam. My car got the boot for being parked for 30 minutes in a jimmy johns only parking spot. Who wants a cold, overpriced sandwich when you can have Salsa Fiesta (shout out! they never disappoint!). Jimmy John's is alway empty but today I found out how they make their money... The manager watches the cameras to see who parks in the jimmy johns customer only spots and doesn't walk into the jimmy john's. Poor guy can't compete, so scams his competitors customers. So then he calls buddy to stick you with the boot within minutes. I mean I saw it in action, management is in constant communication with this guy that he hired to do this (who is also rude!). Btw, he was parked in a salsa fiesta customers only parking spot only further proving the malicious intent behind their scheme. Long story short, I called the cops because I was just so upset at the whole thing but ended up just coughing $90 because I was on my lunch break. Cops agreed that their behavior is disgusting but there is nothing they could do. So here is your warning I guess. And I personally refuse to give business to them for this sketchiness. read more

Today I had the most unpleasant lunch in my life. This Jimmy John's encourages a, I would like to say, illegal policy to tow your car if you park on their spots and, (God forbid!!!) go somewhere else besides this place. You may end up paying $89 dollars, which seems to be the way JJ is getting some profit for a business that, at 1 PM on a Friday afternoon, had around 6 employees and only ONE customer. The manager of the store was super rude explaining that the company hired a booting service to enforce that only JJ clients park on 5 specific spots on an area where parking is chaotic. My complaint wasn't for the locking and towing of the cars, is why does Jimmy Johns has to use this sneaky policy where other business like Starbucks (right next to it) decided to open parking after the complains of customers. And trust me, we called the police and mine is not the first time this happens. Apparently they are called several times a day because people are robbed $89.00 every time they get a car locked. I have no idea why other options like a Pay-By-Phone parking have not been explored. At least someone wouldn't paying almost a 100 dollars just because the owners of the place haven't found a way to make customers try to park on other businesses places to go to their store. I wonder if this is basically a new way to profit from workers like us that just have to go back to work and won't have the time to fight back. read more

Freaky fast delivery is damn right! Try the clubhouse sandwiches if you're hesitant about all the bread of the original subs (even though I love those too). I had the Beach Club -- super fresh, extra lettuce, avocado spread, plenty of turkey ... delish. And for less than $8 (free delivery, though with their speed, you'll want to tip them), you're into it way cheaper than most delis around (and it tastes better). read more

For a quick sub place, this spot is pretty good. Fresh ingredients and tasty subs. Im so glad they opened this location next to my job. Its scary fast by the time i put away the card i paid with, my sub is ready. My favorites are the #15 Tuna and the #11 Country Club on Wheat. Wheat bread is a bit too thick i prefer less bread on my sub. My other complaint is I wish they had more cheese options. I'm such a snob when it comes to cheese. Their service is really friendly and helpful too. All smiles and cheers once you come in. Little things like this helps customers return. There's a subway on the next block and i will never step foot in there again now that I have Jimmy Johns. read more

Oh Jimmy! I work around the hood, so I've tried almost every "lunch" place around the area. And Jimmy Johns is one of my favorite fast-food places. They prepare sandwiches ridiculously fast and they taste so good. Their bread is super delish! My favorite sub is the vegetarian. Highly recommended for a fast, cheap lunch that also tastes good! ;) read more

Always looking for new lunch options and decided to try them out. I always hear their radio commercials but I've never come across one by where I live. Their subs are so fresh, and the breads they use are so delicious. They also have cookies, if you need a sweet fix. The triple chocolate is my fave! It's soft and chewy goodness makes me want to buy more to bring back to the office, but to keep them all to myself. ;) I will be lunching there more. read more

They share a parking lot with salsa fiesta but they put a boot on cars that don't go into JJ. $89 to free your car. I will not give this place my business and suggest you avoid at all costs. read more

Beware of the boot!!!!!! It's widely known that this location will boot your car if you park in a JJ's spot but go somewhere else. See the other numerous reviews to that effect. Today, however, I was booted DESPITE walking back with a JJ's bag in-hand. The reason? I had also swung by Starbucks to pickup an online order. Yes, the 30 extra seconds I spent in Starbucks was apparently enough to be boot-worthy. After flashing my JJ's bag to the attendant, along with an infuriated stare, he took off the boot for no charge...this time. But not before issuing a stern warning and informing me that by parking in a JJ's spot, you can ONLY go to JJ's. If you wish to also drop by Starbucks or pickup a quick taco at Salsa Fiesta, a mere 10 steps away, their policy, which is NOT posted publicly, would require you to move your car and re-park in the appropriate lot. Anyone familiar with parking in this area or who has also tried to come here for a quick lunch will appreciate how difficult and insanely ridiculous this request is. JJ's - I have no assurance that my next lunch won't cost me an additional $90. Until you iron out these kinks with Elite Booting, Inc., you've lost a loyal customer. To anyone looking for food in this area - do yourself a favor. Park in a Salsa Fiesta spot (same parking lot) and pay them a visit. The food is fast, much fresher and delicious, and you can enjoy it all boot-free. read more

I lived across the street from a Jimmy John's years ago, so I've eaten many a Jimmy John's sandwich. I was glad to see them open up nearby to my office. Jimmy John's only has two kinds of bread and one type of cheese, but still their sandwiches are pretty good. The Club Lulu is my favorite. I also like that they have sprouts. Everything is between about $6-$10. And yes, the delivery is ridiculously fast. I am about 6 blocks away. After I order, the food is usually in my hand in about 6 minutes... sometimes less... and never more than 10 minutes. You can almost hear them start making your sandwich while you are still completing your order. Not the best sandwiches ever, but pretty good and super fast and convenient. Extremely disappointed. Ordered online my lunch at 11:11am to be delivered at 12. By 12:25pm called the store to ask where's my delivery. Asked to speak to a manager they gave the phone to a Man name dj that wasn't even the manager. He told me it was on the way. I expressed how my lunch starts at 12 and that now my lunch was half way through. Then another gentlemen got on the phone supposedly now the "real" store manager. Told him my complaint. A co worker ordered way after I did at 12:15 and my food and hers arrived at the same time 12:45pm meaning they held on to my order so they can do one trip. Called again to speak to the manager Martin and requested that I be reimbursed basically he didn't want to hear me he was rude and disrespectful. Said that he's short on staff and that he's to busy to speak to me right now. This is no way to Manage a store. He rudely hung up on me and now won't answer my calls or they leave me on hold. Called corporate they are useless too asked to leave a feedback online and they will get to me. Forgot to mention my frenchie sub wasn't wrapped all the way so it was sticking out of the bag when it arrived. Totally disappointed. No reimbursement and I'm no longer ordering from this establishment. Martin was rude & disrespectful. read more

I'm not a fan of subs or any type of sandwich BUT hands down this is the spot. Doesn't stink and beats the hell out of Subway. Its so clean! And their delivery is super fast! Too bad they don't deliver to my house :( but they deliver to my job which is my second home. My favorite thing to eat is the Turkey Tom! It has the right amount of everything and the bread quality is crazy amazing. Friendly crew too, great service. Definitely a place someone should visit if your heading to Midtown/Wynwood. read more

So we ordered two subs and asked them to be delivered down the street. All good so far. Then the very polite rider knocks on the door and he was given a tip and we thanked each other. Next I open my sub and find out that the item is missing some items requested. I now make a call to the store and reach Ronald the store manager. Ronald asked me several times to look under the cheese and lettuce for the missing peppers which I did however they were not there. He stated "sorry" but offered no cure for this. I then said "sorry...what that's it". at which time he stated that he can make me another sub and they will then pick up the mistakes. This would be fine except I am in a hurry and hungry. There is nothing wrong with the food in front of me but it is missing items. Perhaps a discount on future order or a cookie or something next time would have fixed the issue. Now I am being asked to wait another 30 min before I can eat or leave my home until the delivery person arrives. I stated to Ronald that I would prefer at this time to just receive a refund for the mistake. He can come and get the sub if he desires but I will just find something else to eat here at home as I do not wish to wait so long to eat. Ronald stated that he will not issue me a refund. I said ok I will just contact my credit card company then and dispute the charges at which time he said go ahead in a very rude manner. I asked Ronald for a customer service number which he refused to give to me. I asked him for his name including his last name which he told to me however it was a long difficult name and I can not recall the name. This is why I asked if he could spell his name. Ronald refused to spell his name even though I asked him if he could spell it four times. Each time I asked if he could spell the name he just continued to pronounce it again. At this time Ronald actually hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked if he will be coming back to get the subs. Again I asked for the spelling of his name and he refused. About 40 min later there was a knock at the door with another kind rider with a replacement sub with him. I took the sub and give him the other. Upon closing the door I threw the sub in the trash as I was not sure if I wanted to eat it at this point and I had already found me some leftovers in the frig to cure my hunger. I had also called customer service after looking for the number online. I assure you that Jimmy Johns on Biscayne Blvd in Miami will never need to worry about our orders again. Ronald who is actually the General Manager has see sure to that. Customer service this day with Ronald was garbage. I would hope that the owner of this location would be more concerned then Ronald is about customers and their business. read more

I went home to visit my family and my cousins were raving about this place so when I got back home and noticed one up the street I decided to check it out. The service is creepy fast and friendly but my socks weren't knocked off as I was expecting by the dramatization from the fam. It could be because I don't eat meat that I didn't get the full effect idk. It wasn't bad, it was actually really good but I guess I was expecting something else. If I had my choice of subway next door and here I would definitely go with Jimmy johns but in my opinion Publix blows everyone out of the water. Nonetheless, good food, fast service, polite employees, great pricing, but sucky parking. Idea for a quick lunch. read more

Sprouts! Sprouts on everything! I love Jimmy Johns. I visit this location at the very least once a week. I'd only ever tried them in Orlando so I'm happy to have one near work. Not too pricey, friendly service AND free delivery. I was SOLD. See you next week, Jim! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. First of all Jimmy John's subs, with processed fake meat and raw bread, are gross. But this location is particularly foul because of the guy they hire to boot your car if he doesn't think you actually ate here. He claims to check inside the restaurant but that's a lie. Complaining to the manager is pointless, he could care less about losing customers. He just gave me the number of their corporate office. I wish Jimmy John's would leave. It's an embarrassment to my neighborhood and there are so many better, more convenient restaurants to choose from. Stay away. read more

Usually a fan of jimmy Johns...this location has 20 people in the back and don't seem very accommodating. Not sure if manager is on site.

Living in Edgewater you'd think there would be a lot of local's spots that are really good. I'm quickly learning that to be quite the opposite. I saw the great reviews here from my fellow yelpers and thought to myself- self "are all the south floridans just so accustom to awful, mediocre at best food, they've become satisfied with it and even dare to call it good??" Apparently this place's claim to fame is it's really fast? Maybe they should slow down a bit and show the food some love. How about next time you can take 5 minutes extra if you promise to make my sandwich taste better, deal? If wanted a fast sandwich I would go to 7-11, which might even have a better product then this joint. read more

Today was my first visit to Jimmy Johns. I walked here from my office and we're going to have a little turkey sandwich. There was a sign on the cash register that said cash only. When I asked about it, the young lady told me that the system has been down for a couple of days! I asked for manager. She pointed out the manager and I went and spoke with him. I asked about the system and it being down and that I had walked here with no cash only my credit card expecting to be able to get a sandwich. He didn't surprise me and made a good judgement call and gave me a free meal because I did talk to him and told him that I walked here and this was my first visit. Good call!
