This litto spot opened recently in Miami Lakes next too a few other food spot. But I have a thing for cold cuts so how can I past it up. I asked the The Original Italian and the nice thing about this spot is that they actually cut your cold cuts right there in front of you! The original has provolone cheese, ham, prosciutto, cappiuculo, salami and pepperoni. Then after all my cuts where effortlessly thin sliced they ask you f you want it "Mike's way" which pretty much is lettuce tomato and onions with oil; vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano. Part 2 (I deleted the first part to try and put it past me) but once again my experience at jersey mikes cannot go unnoticed. Today 12/05/23 I enter the store on my lunch break either a valid coupon. I enter the store enter the line order the sub, wait in line they make the sandwich. And when I go to pay they refused to accept the coupon because I wrote a negative (but truthful) review on the actions of the General Manager. We are BIG time Jersey Mike's fans. Like, when on vacation and looking for a quick bite on a long drive we will detour to the closest shop. They make sandwiches fresh with each order and the turkey and ham are raised without antibiotics. Cold subs are served "Mike's way" with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices, and "the juice" which is oil and vinegar. You can also add pickles, banana peppers, mayo, and some other sauces like mustard and ranch. They have white, wheat, rosemary parm, and gluten free bread. You can get a mini, regular, or giant sized for your favorite sub as well. They have chips, cookies, and brownies as sides and a variety of Pepsi products to drink. To order you walk to the back and order your sandwich with an expert sandwich maker and watch them slice your toppings right in front of you. Pick your chips or cookie while walking down the counter and receive your soda at the end. The place was busy when we got there and stayed that way. It's usually like that at the other locations so it really wasn't a surprise. We got our subs and didn't have a problem getting a table. All in all an enjoyable sandwich experience. My kids and I visited the Miami Lakes establishment, being new and all of course it was clean and fresh looking. I was excited to have a sub shop close to home. I had a regular ham and provolone Mike's way and I got my kids mini with just ham and mayo(that is how they like it), 1 bag of chips and 3 fountain drinks. My total was just under $28. Only after I had my meal did I see there was a kids option that included a sandwich, drink and cookie for $4.75. I wish the staff would have alerted me about that. we have been going to the miami lakes location for years only because there are not many sub places in the area. they prompt you to leave a tip. if you don't leave a tip when you place your ordre online, your sandwich is short of ingredients. lately even with a tip when you pay for extra meat you don't get it. to top it off, they never say thank you when you leave a tip. its as if they are doing you a favor. we are tired of this kind of service and the value of the food is down the drain. paying $ 30.00 for an extra meat sandwich and getting a regular quantity of meat, after paying the tip and no thank you.....no thanks we are done with jersey mikes. read more

I was recently introduced to Jersey Mike's and can't get enough! The meats and veggies are beyond fresh. They even slice the meats and cheeses right in front of you like at a deli. They have both cold and hot subs but I always get cold, so I can't talk about the hot but will be trying one soon. I would say the only negative is that it is pretty pricey for a sub. I spent about $37 for two giant subs, including tip. That's almost $40 for 2 sandwiches! But other than that, this place is great! read more

In past experiences, this location has been notorious for not having and/or substituting bread. So, when I opened the sandwich that I ordered online February 14th, I didn't think much of it when it wasn't the bread that was ordered. However, that was just the beginning. The first bite seemed a little more heated than normal. After a second bite I pulled apart 1/2 of the sandwich to find jalapeno peppers. It wasn't one pepper or some peppers. It was a LOT of peppers. So much so that I piled them on a plate and took a picture. Only problem was that the sandwich I ordered explicitly said no jalapeno peppers and I confirmed the order . Either I was given someone else's sandwich who really likes jalapeno peppers or the people behind the counter paid no attention to the order and made whatever they wanted. She apologized and said she would make our order again for free. Ordered 3 takeout Philly Cheese Steaks on Friday for lunch, first could not believe how small they were and they were not cheap, second we could not get any condiments on the side, they just were not offered and third the sandwiches were just not that good!
