Just watched Governor Edwards speech about the surge of virus cases and here we have people making sandwiches shoulder to shoulder without masks. Today I ordered my usual, the #6 (The Veggie) on wheat roll. It's always a good sandwich. I've tried others on the menu, and find Jimmy John's to be consistent from city to city. The counter person and sandwich maker at this location were friendly and organized; before I could count my change I had my sandwich in my hand. I think people in Louisiana might be confusing these sandwiches with a fried shrimp poboy - that's apples and oranges, imho! If you want to go to the other national chain sandwich shop, do that. If you want a poboy, this ain't the place. Oh - and did I mention the chips? Their store brand chips are tasty and come in five flavors! Peace, y'all! read more

I have GOT to send a huge shoutout to manager Shawn, and young delivery delivery lady Taylor. I called in a delivery order for an unwich and a plain ham and cheese sub. The order got here quickly, but, the sub was dressed. My autistic son doesn't do that. Plain Jane, all the way. He probably didn't hear me say "Plain", but made no excuses. Shawn sent Taylor back, but, with a ham and cheese unwich, and a big ol cookie. But, my son still couldn't eat that. That man was prepared to make our whole order again, just to get it right! I had to stop him from a repeat on mine. Only wanted the sub. Not ONE complaint. No excuses. That store is slammed and the drive-thru, with all this horrendous weather, is non-stop, also. Stopped here after gambling for a break from the casino noise. An employee was listening to music on his phone the entire time. He acted like there were no customers in the store. Manager needs to pay attention to what's happening in the store and tell employees not to blare music from their phones. read more

Good food and it tastes Awsome! That's about it unfortunately. The ordering model is a complete mess. It's definitely not a create a sandwich your way kinda place, hell even salt and pepper have to be added by you with gas station packs of condements and don't even think about oil and vinegar because it will cost you! It's got potential to be an amazing place but the bussiness model as far as ordering sandwiches goes is severely flawed and ultimately holding it back... Update 5/4/18 We've been back countless times since my first review and it seems to me they have only gotten worst... Today we sat in the drive thru line for over 5 minutes without ever getting service. We finally just went inside only to ultimately have our order messed up. I really want to see this place succeed but odd ordering set up along with poor management and workers makes that impossible. They need a total overhaul from the top down in my opinion. read more

My husband was crabby that I made him leave the highway for a sub, but after we ate he said it was one of the best sandwiches he has ever had. This was a well-oiled machine. The manager had everyone hopping when there was a lull, but there was pretty constant business. Bread was perfect and still soft, and the sandwiches were delicious. What a disappointment my return trip to JJ's was! First off, I came at 8:00 PM, not a car in the area, so I'm thinking a quite meal while I read. As I approached the door I could feel the windows vibrating from the thumping bass blasting thru the speakers. When I opened the door I was hit with music so loud I felt it in my bones, and I'm not talking easy listening music either- this was hardcore rap. Once the employees (3 of them) heard the door the music was immediately turned down, still was difficult to place my order as the gentleman had to lean in to hear me, it was still loud- just not rattling the windows anymore. As soon as I received my food and sat down the music was turned up and I heard the "N" word seven times, along with very graphic things pertaining to sex. I couldn't believe the staff would keep this music playing with a customer in the building. Of course they appeared to be young kids, and not too caring to begin with. The gentleman seemed the brightest of the group, definitely was the friendliest, and seemed embarrassed re the young girls choice of music. He was working the whole time, while the girls were trying out their dance moves. Sandwich was ok except the bread was hard and chewy, along with a big black burnt spot on the end. I think I will stick with Panera from now on. Seems to be a different class of employees and definitely haven't heard thug nasty rap blasting from their speakers. read more

Me and my fiance ate here because Darrells(a poboy restaurant in our area) was closed. It was not what I was hoping for and not what I expected. The food was just ok..nothing to brag about and I don't think I'll be going again. Not enough meat on the sandwich and if you want more meat you have to upgrade your sandwich meal which cost more money. For me it wasn't worth it I'd rather subway!! read more
