I've been to many a Chick Fil A, but what happens at this location I've NEVER seen at any of their other stores. A woman who took my order in the drive thru stopped taking my order mid sentence to yell at her coworker that she liked the song that was playing in the car that was next to mine. I was also alerted that there would be no fries tonight as they were out. I was frustrated and left. I came back the next evening and, to my surprise, there was only one lane open. I was told that it was to help make closing easier. How does having one drive thru lane closed affect the speed of closing? Anyway I place my order and am let known that, again, there will be no fries this evening as they are out again. I'm frustrated again at this point and say "Wow, two nights in a row no fries". And the gentleman taking more order says "Yeah, you gotta get here earlier if you want some fries". I've NEVER been to a CFA that didn't have fries and I've NEVER been spoken to by an employee at a CFA the way that I have been when I come to this location. It's so bad that it honestly has changed my opinions on Chick Fil A as a whole. I get worried going to other locations that it'll be as bad as this one. read more

Chick-fil-a what the heck?!? This used to be one of the best fast food restaurant here in Lake Charles. Your employees were wonderful and sweet, they even knew us by name and order (as sad as that is) Now we wait 20-30 minutes in the drive thru with no explanation or apologies. I employ a large amount of people so I understand the issues getting good help and some of that is understandable. The managers and expeditors are your key positions and they are standing around talking while employees struggle. You make chicken, that's your thing, why 20 minutes? If the other foods are too much to handle stop making them. I used to eat here two or three times a week, now I only take my wife about once a month and we get frustrated every time. I could honestly say, I have never been so disappointed at any Chick-fil-A like this before. First of all, my mobile order was confirmed. I Confirmed I was at the correct location. I also checked into the app. It confirmed for me to proceed to the drive- thru. I Check in with the employee thru drive thru. Then she followed me to let me know my card declined. She kindly let me know that's she would let them know at the window I would be paying with Apple Pay. Then the employee guy came to my window really upset and annoyed that my card was declined he said. In a mad and upset voice. He did not even let me explain he keep talking . So I waved my phone showing him my wallet on my phone. That's was the way I was going to pay. He then grab my phone out of my hand really mad and rude. He took it to the drive thru window. When he came back I swear he wanted to throw it at me. I even had the respect to say thank you. And he rolled he's eyes and rudely shoved the phone back to me. I don't know if he was not notified that I was paying at the window. But honestly I think he was more mad that he had to walk to get the apple payment and walk back. I never had anything to complain about ever. I just think that people should not be treated this way, because of a decline payment. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone. I just started returning to this location. About a year ago, I ordered a delivery order. The delivery driver made me very uncomfortable when delivering the food, but I just brushed it off. Until the delivery driver began texting me on his personal phone!!! He sat in front of my house for about 30 minutes. I decided to give them another chance after about 7 months, hoping he might not work there anymore. But quickly, more issues arise. Wish I could give 0 stars. I always get the breakfast burritos, and pay extra to have chicken & sausage. However, I never receive both. The salsa that is included with the burrito is never in the bag. Even in the drive thru, I request a note be written on the order to include the salsa or include both meats. I am assured that the order will be correct and there is no need for the note. I have called to get the issue resolved, without accepting compensation because I just wanted it fixed for future visits. You're lucky if someone answers the phone. Finally after multiple visits of incorrect orders & calling each time, I got an answer on the phone from Leah. It was a whole process to get in touch with the manager of the store. He called me back later and assured the issue would be handled. Well.... I called back a few days later to let them know I had placed another order, which was still incorrect... The phone didn't ring and went straight to voicemail. I called a few other times thinking it was odd. I called on a different number and it rang the full way through, still no answer but it rang that time. Turns out Leah blocked my phone number from the Chick-fil-a phone. When I placed my order I explained to the cashier that I was sitting outside (they were at max capacity inside which is no big deal beautiful day out). Waited for roughly 20-25 minutes to receive my food while I noticed people who ordered after me got theirs. Went inside to check and one of the employees stated that she called my name 6 times but failed to check outside. So it's your basic Chik-fil-A. I'm not going to go into detail describing it, you know what to expect. Everything here was great, blah, blah, blah. What I really want to talk about is THE BATHROOM! You guys, this was the cleanest, calmest and most considerate fast food bathroom I've ever been to. I'm not kidding, I wanted to bring my husband in to experience the high level of customer service. There was an entire shelf dedicated to lady comfort. One basket of nursing pads and disinfectant. Another shelf with tissue (the good kind). The next shelf had a basket filled with pads and tampons (of varying absorbency) and finally a basket of diapers. Diapers people! They were stored in a ziplock bag for maximum cleanliness. I know this is just a fast food place but this effort to go above and beyond warmed the cockles of my heart. read more

THE WORST CHICK-FIL-A... POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, let me say that I love Chick-fil-A and the quality of food they serve. However, Store #02203 located at 3435 Nelson Rd in Lake Charles is by the worst when it comes to speed and customer service. I'm not from Lake Charles, but I've been working in the area since February of 2022. I used to dine at this location 4 - 5 times per week, but I cut back to 1 -2 times per week due to extremely lack of concern for speed and customer service. Today (Saturday 09/17/22), I visited this location and ordered two medium Mac & Cheese. I always set my watch timer and observe operations when ordering from this location. It took 16 minutes to get my order. Really, Chick-fil-A? I can never understand why the service is so slow. I understand this is a very busy location, but today I counted more than 8 front end employees and many kitchen employees pacing back and forth behind the counter. Confused as of what their duties were, poorly trained, or lack of leadership? I don't know. I finally saw the food expediter bag my order and placed it in the holding area. It sat there for more than 2 additional minutes. I tried to get several employees attention to get my sitting order, but every employee is operating with their head down and not pay any attention to the guests. I almost walked behind the counter to get my order, but I didn't want to start any problems. Finally, an employee started handing out several orders that had been placed on the side. The problem is she didn't give the orders out in the order they were place in the holding area; therefore, I received my order last. UNACCEPTABLE. As much as I hate to, I will have to stop dining at this Chick-fil-A location. I CANNOT and will NOT tolerate this type of service. There are too many unproductive employees working at this location. With the number of staff working, there is no way it should be taking this long to get orders out. I was not the only frustrated customer who were patiently waiting for long awaited placed orders. In a situation where the restaurant is busy there must be a leader to take control of the situation. Not at this location. It was on auto pilot today. I did not see or hear anyone providing direction to the employees who were just standing around doing nothing. If an employee is on break, they should not be behind the counter. I've been to many Chick-fil-A restaurants in many different states, and I have NEVER been subject to this type of customer service. Lunch here today was delicious as always, staff pleasant and courteous to the nth degree. My only complaint -the girl taking my order was chewing gum as a cow would chew cud. I could hardly place my order to her for watching her gum bounce around in her mouth (for those of you old enough to remember the cartoon where you follow the bouncing ball- this was all I could think about!)- to the point I was concerned it might fall out while she was making the drinks. She could care less, I've never met a rude employee at any CFA but tonight I have. It was an awful experience from the start to the finish. We stopped at this location on a road trip. The women's bathroom was dirty and the baby changing table was FILTHY. I had a pad to put down, but it was gross. There was broken shards of plastic on the floor that were sharp. Very uncharacteristic of a chick fila. Hopefully we caught them on an off time of day or something because it was not good.
