Walking up with my family of 6 super excited to be in Louisiana we are staying in the Airbnb around the corner when a gentleman sitting outside stated "wow you guys decide to come in 10 minutes before we close.. " my husband told him we will be quick and he said you guys will not be eating inside. so rude. I had to yelp it. Didn't say hi how are you doing? No smile just mad. Bad costumer service . read more

Using the app makes it easier to order plus you earn "rewards" so why not. Usually no wait in line or very little wait time. Food is almost always consistent and as ordered. Overall a smooth easy process. The only need for improvement I would say is a little friendlier at the window, a smile helps. read more

This quesadilla went through something before it got to me. Uneven, messy, and barely holding itself together like it had a long day. I've had way better from Taco Bell--this one missed the mark. read more

My husband went to order our food through the drive-thru put in our whole order and we got half of it. We were missing food and couldn't be bothered to go back. Not only was food missing, our chicken quesadillas were dry! Tell me why I always have some kind of problem when it comes to this Taco Bell! I know it isn't supposed to be 5-star but put some sauce on the quesadillas and make sure the whole order is in the bag. read more

Taco Bell - This was the surprise that I had when I unwrapped my taco. - Fast Food Near Me - Lake Charles, Louisiana

No humans take your order when you dine in. You take your order by a confusing touch screen. Which took forever and I asked for a human and I was DENIED. I completed order and they give you NO paper receipt because it's text or email ONLY. I had to wait for my empty cups for our fountain drinks. Normally a human would instantly give it to you when you complete your order. We sat and then someone said across the restaurant "I think this is y'all's order". The touch screen wants you to give name. I asked what name and I took them awhile to figure out what name. Then once we got the order, NONE of the burritos or tacos where labeled. We order multiple different burritos and multiple different tacos and we had to open ALL FOOD just to see whose is whose and we DIDNT figure it out because we didn't know who had less beans and more beans. Also the tables were dirty. With no clean as we had to clean our own table read more

Ok. For starters understand it is Taco Bell. The food is what it is. If you go thru the drive thru plan to wait. 20+ minute wait times is very common. It is insane to me that 20+ minute times are an actual thing for a fast food drive thru. Service is just horrible. Your order will almost certainly be wrong. Just plan on it. read more

This Taco Bell has gotten my order wrong every single time, not given me any sauces even upon request, and today I was given old, stale, broken tacos and Crunchwrap supreme. This is the worst Taco Bell location I've ever been service from. Never ordering from here again read more

I went to go grab a late night dinner after work this past Sunday. As i drove up to the drive thru, an older white male asked for my order. He was very rude and had an attitude the entire time. Kept speaking over everything i said. When i received my food the order was wrong and my quesadilla was very dry. No sauce. Just chicken and cheese. I will not be giving them business anymore. If you don't have the attitude to be in the service industry then don't work in the industry. Prien lake Taco Bell here I come. read more

This chain is unfortunately poorly managed. It's been months and possibly more and no change at all for quality of service. Always missing or incorrect orders and just about every visit they're out of something we try to order. read more

I know Taco Bell is not great to beging with but I needed something quick and easy. I got the soft taco combo w/ a drink. I was dining in and when my food was ready it was served to me on a dirty tray. The tray had food on it. I had to actually point this out to the person that put it on the counter. He then to the tray and food back to get a "clean" tray. I watched as he went through 5 or 6 trays all of them dirty because he was still searching for an acceptable one. Finally he just grabbed one and wiped it off and use it to serve my food that had already been sitting on a dirty tray. This is Taco Bell folks... read more

Don't ever eat at this nasty restaurant. The way they handle things is just sick. The service is horrible, the Taco Bell on high way 14 is way better. Although orders have been wrong at times. But they usually fix it. I would go to the highway 14 Taco Bell. But stay away from Nelson. read more

They messed up my order and when I came back for my right order they showed rude behavior towards me

Wow, what an absolutely terrible experience. The line was long, but the wait time was super long. It was late when I ordered, but the drive-thru menu had not lights, so it was super hard to see the menu items. I ordered two meals (the Chalupa meal and the Flat Bread meal). The Chalupa meal, which is supposed to include 2 Chalupas, was missing the Chalupas. The flatbread meal had the smallest excuse for a flatbread sandwich I could ever imagine. The tacos were not completely full, but contained mostly lettuce. The attendants were slow and unfriendly. Just terrible. read more

I understand they aren't opened until 7. But I pulled into the drive thru at like 6:57 and the lady must have came on the speaker three or four times to tell me 'Sorry, we aren't open' so I just responded with a 'okay, do y'all open at seven?' And she said yes but the eggs aren't ready. So again I said okay I'll just wait only for her to proceed to come back on the speaker a few seconds later with the same 'Hi, sorry ma'am we aren't open'. Like... if you don't want to work that early in the morning then don't come to work and push people away right when your store opens. read more

I visited this location after a long trip in torrential rain! Although it was gloomy outside the employees were high in spirits. They were trying to keep the horrific storm from flooding the inside of the restaurant. After 30 seconds of placing my order the manager walked around and asked them to hustle up so I could get out before the rain picked back up. I tried to explain to her I had just got there but she wouldn't hear it she wanted me out while the rain slacked off! That's service. Foodwise..well it's taco bell! read more

Horribly slow in the drive thru. Got home to find missing items 3 of my last 5 visits!

This store is a waste of time. The past 3 times I've been there they didn't have chalupa flatbread, the don't have ice so the sodas were hot and one time they put my quesadilla in a napkin!!! Worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. read more

You get one star due to the prime location. With that being said, because of the location one would expect a very courteous and professional staff. Not the case with the evening shift on 2/15/17. Definitely needs to be a lot more professional and a little faster would help. read more

This review is for lunch in the Taco Bell dining room only. We enjoy Taco Bell so much as to have visited it consistently 3 years in a row for our anniversary. For our first anniversary, we were only able to snag lunch, so it's been kind of a tradition for the last couple years to do lunch instead of dinner here. Not to mention, it's a fantastic deal. You can choose from 10 value meals for under $5.99, with each additional taco for only a buck nineteen. I'd argue that this is one of, if not the, best value for lunch in Lake Charles. Consider that Taco Bell retains a consistent Best of SWLA rating, and has also been featured in the list of American Press's 50 Best Restaurants for many years in a row. Now tell me that a ~$5.99 lunch here isn't a steal! There's an option to do a $10 Box combo here for lunch, but I've found that I actually prefer to order off the à la carte menu. The Box usually just seems like too much food for me (especially at lunch time), but YMMV. When we visited here last (June 2015), the summer menu offered nacho cheese and chips for 99 cents. I opted for the potato and beef taco, and it was excellent. For my main dish, I had the Mexican pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection, with subtle flavoring. The best thing about TB really, is that it's not overly pretentious and doesn't cater to the latest trends. The food is innovative, without flaunting odd foam/molecular gastronomy creations. Here you will find delicious, expertly crafted, and recognizable food. TB also offers a couple extras that really make the lunch service exemplary. The Fire sauce is always fantastic. And for dessert, house-made Churros and extra desserts are brought to the table. We've also been given an extra order of cinnamon twists each year decorated for our anniversary. We'll continue this tradition as long as we can, and I can't wait to try the dinner service as well. read more

It's Taco Bell. Why am I doing this to my body... Why do anyone of us go to Taco Bell. It's not really Mexican food. It's fast food. Well, the reason we go here is basically it's super cheap and fast. Thank God I am close to home... read more

Just don't go here. The wait is very long, even for a small order. They are always out of something. Tonight they were out of tomatoes, mild and hot sauce, Doritos Nachos shells and apparently they were also out of the paper to wrap the food with because my husbands food was wrapped in some kind of brown paper. Of course they don't tell you what they are out of until you pay for the food. And then we get home and the food is made very sloppily. We decided tonight was our last night eating at this location. Save yourself the time and headache. read more
