Terrible service and quality of food. Placed an order online that should've been ready in 20 minutes. Waited for an hour for 3 tacos and a queso. The restaurant was not busy. It was fantastic to find this new Torchy's along our route. We have not had Torchy's since we moved out of Texas. When we pulled up they were closing but the manager opened the doors for us, took our order and fired up the food. Man we all misses Torchy's so much! There needs to be some here in Atlanta!! I've never had Torchy's or knew anything about it. Let's start with the food. The food tastes good, albeit is not going to come close to a meal. $5 tacos are a little overpriced for the portion size. I'm basing this on my experiences eating tacos in Chicago. These portions would be more appetizing at $2.50. The fried cookie dough is a session though. The service was good. I ordered to go and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. One of the servers also checked on my order, which honestly took a little longer than anticipated for two tacos and the fried dough. The setting was visually appealing and I found the location to be convenient. All and all, I would return but I think the prices are a little high. read more

Torchy's Taco is amazing! Came here during brunch hours, and ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch menu tacos. Ordered a side of chips &salsa (Delicious) and was leased with the outcome of the food. This place is definitely "Tex-Mex" but the quality was great. Tacos are about $4 each, but they are filled and made pretty delicious. This place serves alcohol too, and has a little "sit in" bar. I went to Torchy's because of the gluten free menu. It's the same stuff, but on a corn tortilla. Not sure how gluten free that makes it. The food is mediocre at best and extremely pricy for what you get. My lunch was $27 for two tacos, a fountain drink and queso. Just as a comparison, I have been going to a steakhouse near there for dinner each night while I'm in town for work. At the steakhouse, it has been $22 for an 11 oz sirloin, broccoli, and a loaded baked potato with a side of mushrooms. Service was very slow, but friendly. The floor was so greasy, I felt like I was ice skating. That's one of my pet peeves. If the floor is that greasy, how clean is everything else? This is a neat place to meet up with friends to eat tacos. 1st visit I invited my mother-in-law after her eye exam. So non-alcoholic drinks for me. The drink station was full of different flavored beverages. My friend ordered a small queso. It was a unique combo of cheese, chili, and guacamole. Wow, the tacos were spicy. My favorite tacos were the crossroads w/ corn tortilla and Beef Fajita tortilla. I can't stop thinking of these tacos. This location is the worst I've been to. I hate saying that but the food has no flavor. I actually thought I had Covid because I couldn't taste anything. They not only had my dasher waiting almost an hour after I placed the order, they gave me whatever they felt. Couldn't get anyone to pickup the phone (even after using the manager's direct line twice when normal phone didn't answer for 7+ minutes) so had to go inside. Confusion abounds. Finally, get seen. Food ready at 2:48pm. All would have been forgiven, if I received anything close to regular Torchy's. Tortillas were undercooked across the board. Corn tortilla orders came with a single tortilla rather than the usual two. The Trashy Trailer park was just trash. Look at this congealed mess. I get these trying times. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Girls pants were so tight it looked like she didn't have any on. Everyone just looked sad and depressed. We order our appetizers initially, and it was good. We wait for probably 20-30 min girl never comes back she's just sweeping in the lobby. Another girl comes in the bar we order with her some tacos and two margaritas. We waiting and waiting we don't see her making them she's just doing other things, then our food comes out. I ask her how they are coming along she says oh we are out of sweet and sour. She should have told me that initially, so I tell her I'm gonna cancel them. I tell the manager to cancel them he makes them anyway they were overly sour tasted way worse then my first one. The young lady taking orders was pleasant but seemed to be in a hurry and we ended up with a miscommunication resulting in my getting and paying for one too many bowls of dip; she had to call a manager over to edit the order, so I elected to take both bowls, one of guacamole & one of green chile queso - both were plentiful but a bit too spicy hot for my taste. The chips accompanying them were good though quite salty. I ordered a strawberry margarita for $6 & change; it was kinda small and tasted more like lime, which was what had been printed on the bill. I questioned the flavor & was told that it was strawberry, then given a 2nd one that tasted like lime as well. Good thing I like lime! My family and I had been seeing this place for awhile and decided to drop in one night for dinner. The chips were very salty (yummy)! I had the bean and beef burrito and it was amazing. It was packed fully with beans and beef which was great. My family said their food was "not terrible but not amazing" and that "they'd still go back." I was satisfied, though.
