So I'm in lake Charles for work you have the usual food in Louisiana Cajun. But do you think you would ever find a Colombian restaurant? Me either. But this place was amazing service was quick and helpful. The area is very active without even trying. Now to the best part the food I enjoy myself so much i truly ate like a king so much flavor. We had an amazing experience at Orinoco! We started with the Picada Orinoco as an appetizer, and it was incredible; so much food, and such a fun way to sample a variety of their delicious offerings. For our entrées, we tried the Caribbean Red Snapper, the Pabellón, and the Bandeja Paisa. Every dish was packed with flavor and the portions were absolutely generous, more than enough to take some home. The mojitos were super refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding, very friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

The meal I had here during Chuck Eats Restaurant Week was the most inspired meal I've ever had in Lake Charles. A visual work of art that tasted wonderful. I had the ceviche, pollo cremoso, and tres leches. My wife had the crawfish yuca balls, pork belly, and tres leches. I hope this place stays open forever. read more

Great tacos! They had lots of flavor and came with salsa verdant for some added heat. I also tried cachapa which was recommended to me. It's like 2 sweet corn pancakes sandwiching a wonderfully creamy Venezuelan cheese. I highly recommend trying it. The employees were friendly and service was great. read more
