I loved my experience at Los Ponchos. There was a group of ten of us that visited on a Wednesday. The waitress handled us with ease and attentiveness. All staff interactions was wonderful. We started with complimentary salsa and bean dip, which i couldn't stop eating. The food was great!! Their was no compliant from anyone regarding their entrees. And to top it off, there was live music! The artist was fantastic! I sang along to every song Accessible parking and entrance. read more

I stopped in here with my boyfriend for a late supper on a Saturday. We were seated right away. For my Main, I ordered the Papas Locas from the Appetizer menu and asked for the pico to be subbed with just plain diced tomatoes. -Papas Locas: This was my second time to order this. Both times it was good, but it was better this time because the diced tomatoes were less watery and soggy than the pico was last time. I would definitely order this again. It is a lot of food and I had to get a to go box. read more

I ordered Quesa Birra for lunch during my work training. It was so good I had to make a review. This restaurant is not far from my job but I have only just started grabbing lunch here this past month. I don't know why I have not tried them sooner. The Quesa Birra was so good. Each taco was flavorful, cheesy, crispy and full! The dips that came with it were what really made me happy. The green one is so spicy and I loved it! The salsa one was like a sweet tasting salsa that was also very good. The Birra dipping sauce was excellent! I plan on making this my go to lunch spot so every time I try something new I'll post a photo here. read more

This place used to be the best in town!! Now the customer service is terrible. It's a shame because the food is very good, the just need somebody to manage their workers better. read more

Great food. Brought hot and steamy. Love the flavors. Quick friendly service and very attentive. Very good price for a great meal.

Very tasty salsa and black bean dip. I could have stopped there and been good. I could eat baskets of those chips. The enchiladas verdes in beef were exceptional. A neighbor down the road recommended this spot. I'd repeat for sure. Food came out mixed heat. Beans and rice and plate were nuclear hot. Enchiladas were tepid but very tasty. Took a long time from order to delivery. Don't cow if u are in a rush read more

As a native texan that works in midland and Laredo the Mexican food here is some of the best I've had in a while. Did not expect that from Louisiana. The atmosphere was awesome too. Loved the corridos they had playing also. If we ever come back through we will definitely eat there again. Whoever put that one star review doesnt know what good Mexican food is. read more

Pitiful.... We waiting for a long time and NOONE came to take our order. It was lunch time, but there were only 2 other couples in the entire dining room. A waitress walked by a few times and ignored us. I finally stopped her to ask if we had a waiter/waitress. She immediately walked away. A little Later she came back and said our waiter/waitress was on the way. So, we waited......NOBODY ever came, so we left. I'd give zero stars or even negative stars if it allowed that feature in order to write a review. So here, I give it a -10. read more

I've been here 3 times so far. Each time has been great. The salsa is good and so is the black bean dip they serve as well for your chips. A nice change to the chips and salsa you normally get. The staff is super friendly. The margaritas are on point. Let's just say I left feeling pretty good. I had them both frozen and on rocks. I've had the quesadillas one time and the enchiladas verdes another time. Both were great and will have them again. If you are from Texas and have different standards then Idk if this will be of any help to you. But I enjoy it. read more

Most pathetic BURNT MEAT "tacos" I've ever wasted money on. Also listed it would come with rice and beans but with how this taste I'm glad they didn't waste the food on my plate. Putrid. Go to la rumba or even Taco Bell is better. I don't even do reviews but this was so NASTY it made me that mad. Also the attitudes in there....matches the food. No wonder it stays dead. read more

I loved the vibe and music. The service was great. Me encanto, enserio. The food... well what I ordered I disliked.... Enchiladas de Pollo en Mole. It's possible that I only love eating the mole I make. That mole was not good... My husband got the Enchiladas Supreme and also, not good. I will be coming back for sure! Just that I wont be ordering any enchiladas. read more

A true gem to find! We typically don't do Mexican outside of Texas, and boy was this place great! Loved the refried black beans they give you with chips- yum! It made me feel like I was in Mexico. White queso was fantastic, and all our food was on point. We arrived shortly before closing and all the staff was great. Will visit again when in town! read more

Good food, service was a little slow but the people are friendly and the price is reasonable!

Came in on an early Sunday afternoon to kill some time and had amazing salsa with great level of spice, great white queso, great 2-4-1 margarita on the rocks, and finally a great fajita taco entree!
