The service was good but they were out of EVERYTHING including ALLLLLL Taco Bell sauces?? Insane.. I've never heard of that of all the states and countries I've traveled. Whoever owns this chain in particular should be ashamed of themselves. A team worker having to tell their customers they're out of this and that is frustrating as is. The team members took my order and let me know kindly they were out of almost everything i tried to order. All sauces, most carbonated drinks, and hard shell tacos. As a fellow restaurant worker where is the inventory? Where is the management? These workers are doing the best they can...Who will show up for them? I would not suggested this taco bell. This Taco Bell is self order but the service is not that great. The workers are not very friendly. I came here yesterday. I did not know it was self order...So I went to the counter to order...the girl finally came over with an attitude and told me it was self order. Then today my boss wanted to go here. I have not eaten at a Taco Bell in more than 2 years due to poor service and product quality at other Taco Bell Restaurants. My favorite menu item was the Mexican Pizza. I was so excited to learn that the Mexican Pizza had returned, and I could not wait to try it. I was extremely disappointed with the Mexican Pizza this location located at 4305 Nelson Road in Lake Charles, LA. When I got back to my hotel room and opened the box, this is what I found. A pathetic product of what supposed to be a Mexican Pizza with a spoon of beef and bean centered between two corn tortillas. Words cannot explain the poor product quality, portion distribution, and the improper assembly of a Mexican Pizza. Where is the Three Cheese Blend and the Mexican Pizza Sauce? Check your order before leaving. I tried calling the restaurant as soon as I noticed the below average product, but no one answered the phone. I did not want to drive back to the restaurant, so I just threw this disgusting looking crap in the trash. A message to the owners, management, and employees of this Taco Bell. You all should be ashamed of serving a product of this quality. I will be forwarding this image of your version of a Mexican Pizza to Taco Bell Corporate. Ohh...where do I start.... I don't dine at Taco Bell on a regular basis, if fact, I've only been to a Taco Bell probably twice in the past six years, but use to go often when I was in high school. I needed a quick lunch and was close by, so me and JC decided to stop by. From walking up to the door I knew this was a bad choice, and my suspicions were confirmed when the cashier sneezed into the money drawer while giving me my change. Not off to a good start. Decided to tough it out since she had no direct contact with my food and was hoping and praying the food handlers were more hygienically conscious. I understand that there is a difference between the advertising pictures and what you are actually served, but when the food arrived, it looked as if it was prepared by the blind. How hard is it to make a Gordita, really? Other than the saving grace of my "fire" sauce, the food was tasteless as usual, and they used way too much lettuce as a filler to compensate for the few meager chicken pieces enclosed. JC actually thought they forgot to put chicken on her wrap before she saw a couple peeking out from under some unrecognizable sauce. The cleanliness of this location makes me want to wash my hands before (and after) I eat, and walk around with my hands up like a doctor in the operating room while in the place. I may try it again in another six years to see if they progressed any. The whole experience was a disappointment, they earned one star the hard way. read more

I've never been to a place that was this slow. It was about 1:30 PM (8/28/19) when I decided to go get some lunch. I believe I was the forth car in the drive thru so mmm should be fast. WRONG! After about 15 minutes I finally get to pull up to place my order. I get told "please hold" by this time I'm watching my clock. So while I'm "holding" the car in front of me pays, waits for their food. Few minutes later the car gets their food and drive off. The lady finally comes on the speaker "Can I take your order?". Yea I would like a #6 with lemonade. Ok what kind of drink.. . I finally get to pull to pay and I hear her tell the person behind me to "please hold". All I could think of is she must be doing it all.. taking order, cooking and bagging as well as taking your payment. NOPE I was wrong, a lady was wiping a tray down and a guy was getting him something to drink. So probably a half hour later I have my food. Never been on the inside, always use the drive through but is the worst service ever. You have to wait too long (more than 10 minutes) and on top of the long wait they don't prepare you what you order so you have to wait longer. I told them I was not going to wait and to get my money back and they made me go into the restaurant. No apologies for serving me the wrong order, for make me go inside the restaurant or for made me go back into the car to get the receipt. Manager was worse than employees. Avoid Prien Lake Taco Bell. Worst service we have EVER RECEIVED. Over 30 minutes in the drive through. Got our order wrong multiple times. Gave us food we didnt order and not food that we did. When we asked for a receipt they told us no. Because "we're out of receipt paper". Cant even enter into "tellthebell.com" without it. The "manager" wouldn't even write out the info on paper and give us his name because he would "get in trouble with HIS manager for that." Absolutely unacceptable level of service. read more
