The bar area was bustling along with the tables filled with all kinds of good looking dishes enjoyed by families and friends. We came through most recently on a Monday night with only a handful of people inside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu has plenty of good pizza, salad, and dessert options. The flavors for the garlic cheese sticks and pizzas we ordered were very good! The star is the self serve tap wall with excellent options of beer, cocktails, and wine. If soda is more your speed, there is also a good selection of Stubborn Sodas. There are tons of TVs for any sports you might want to watch while enjoying the eats and drinks. There is also a nice couch and chair set if you prefer a lounging spot. There also appeared to be a separate room to be able to book for private events. While GJ has a Smokin' Oak, this location is superior due to the layout and the tap wall! Stop in to this hidden gem!

Most of…read moremy orders so far have been delivery, but I did peek in once and I noticed the many tap options for beer, so I imagine it's a good place to eat in. I've had pizza on the East Coast, the West Coast, and Europe, and what Smokin' produces is very good. I'm very glad it exists. Once or twice the pizza has been too doughy and soft, but mostly it has been just right: crispy edges, fresh ingredients.

The bread tasted freshly baked, and the flavors all came together perfectly: savory, well-balanced, and not overly greasy. Great portion for the price too. We needed a quick stop for lunch driving through town and this place had super high reviews. In the…read moreend, what we got was okay-not really that good but was fine for the purpose of eating on the road. The menu has a fair amount of interesting options but knowing what I know now they probably sound more interesting than they taste. We grabbed the tuna melt & the turkey/hummus/avocado wrap. The former was, again, okay. I'm not entirely sure there was cheese on it and if there were it certainly wasn't giving "melt". The tuna itself I was happy to find there wasn't too much mayo, maybe the best part of the sandwich. And the filling was plentiful with a nicely toasted bread. The wrap felt like something I could've gotten in a rest stop for half the price and would not order again. We also grabbed potato salad which I would not advise doing again. The prices for the sandwiches are fine, but the prices for the drinks are astronomical. We ordered maybe ten minutes in advance and it was ready by the time we got there, which was nice because it seemed that the lunch rush had started and the one person behind the counter seemed a bit stressed by the influx of customers.

Big mistake. 1) it's in the basement of an old folk's home and so it felt odd like we didn't belong, 2) it took over a half an hour to get our food, 3) some of our food was hot, some of it was warm, and some of it was cold. We were afraid to send any of it back because it could take another half hour, 4) the taste of the food ranged from mediocre at best to downright bland and awful, 5) the system for putting away your plates and trays is odd. When we had looked at photos of the menu beforehand, we thought this place would be like Kneaders. This is nothing like Kneaders. Stay far away from this place.
