In true JJ's fashion the consistency we received here on the food was excellent, just like what we have eaten from Michigan to California.

The bar area was bustling along with the tables filled with all kinds of good looking dishes enjoyed by families and friends. My husband's Turkey Melt and Creamy Mac and Cheese did not disappoint with gooey goodness and my Cod Fish Sandwich was crispy and delicious. If we lived in the area, we'd frequent this place for the lively ambience along with some pretty darned good food!

She never told us her name , approached us 2 minutes after we got there asking if we were ready to order and then again another 2 minutes later. Then she had the audacity to say to my fiancee that she had a hard time deciding? We were seated for about 5 minutes at this point. I ordered a medium well burger, came completely charred on both sides with no pink whatsoever. To top it all off, before she even knew our payment type we were given the receipt and there is a SERVICE FEE? That 1 single night will make me never return again.

We came through most recently on a Monday night with only a handful of people inside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu has plenty of good pizza, salad, and dessert options. The flavors for the garlic cheese sticks and pizzas we ordered were very good! The star is the self serve tap wall with excellent options of beer, cocktails, and wine. If soda is more your speed, there is also a good selection of Stubborn Sodas. There are tons of TVs for any sports you might want to watch while enjoying the eats and drinks. There is also a nice couch and chair set if you prefer a lounging spot. There also appeared to be a separate room to be able to book for private events. While GJ has a Smokin' Oak, this location is superior due to the layout and the tap wall! Stop in to this hidden gem!

Still the veggies were few. I noticed that pizzas with meat seemed to have plenty of meat. How unfair and discrimination against vegetarians. Will not eat there until they change their skimpy pizzas, provide more veggies and not charge extra for what should be the norm

In the…read moreend, what we got was okay-not really that good but was fine for the purpose of eating on the road. The menu has a fair amount of interesting options but knowing what I know now they probably sound more interesting than they taste. We grabbed the tuna melt & the turkey/hummus/avocado wrap. The former was, again, okay. I'm not entirely sure there was cheese on it and if there were it certainly wasn't giving "melt". The tuna itself I was happy to find there wasn't too much mayo, maybe the best part of the sandwich. And the filling was plentiful with a nicely toasted bread. The wrap felt like something I could've gotten in a rest stop for half the price and would not order again. We also grabbed potato salad which I would not advise doing again. The prices for the sandwiches are fine, but the prices for the drinks are astronomical. We ordered maybe ten minutes in advance and it was ready by the time we got there, which was nice because it seemed that the lunch rush had started and the one person behind the counter seemed a bit stressed by the influx of customers.

It is warm and pretty chill, exactly what I was looking for during my lunch break. I love sandwiches, but I usually order something I am familiar with before I try out house specials. I went with the Turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and I am glad I did. The sandwich was made to order and I had it in my hands pretty quickly. I sat down and ate half; it was good. The avocado was fresh, bacon was good, and the condiment ratio was just right. I took the rest to go, which I was happy about. Glad I had lunch here.

Service…read moreis minimalist by design, ambiance and decor are nice but dark & dreary during the winter months due to the lighting. I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.

The greens added a little kick, the onions perfectly sliced; almost paper thin. The green chiles cut into little morsels add that Smokey bit we crave when we think of fiesta style foods. There were bits of queso fresco crumbled over the whole thing, giving that tang. Even the brown rice was treated with the utmost respect and has the most amazing flavor and hearty texture! Lastly, I'm sure someone back there made that citrus crema from scratch and I basically licked that little ramekin clean! Thank you, thank you! A stop anyone in Junction will not regret!
