I love jimmy johns sandwiches, especially the Beach Club unwich, however, the store in Bend on 20th has got to be the SLOWEST and sometimes incompetent store I have ever come across. Unfortunately it is the closest store to my employer. I have had sandwiches made wrong, items on the menu out of stock, prices at the window different on the menu, and today i spent 20 minutes of my lunch in line to get one sandwich in the drive thru. I do not understand what the problem is and would like it resolved so I have time to eat my lunch on my lunch break!! Went in for lunch recently and ordered lunch combos for 2. They told us the price which did not match what was on the drive thru menu board. They said they price went up a month ago, but the owner does not want to change the menu board. I don't even know where to begin. I receive a notification that my order (of 3 sandwiches and two cookies) was out for delivery at 6:50pm. I have photos to verify this. 7:20 came, and I hadn't received my food, nor had anyone knocked on my door or rang my doorbell - I was listening and checking frequently. This was quite possibly the fastest Jimmy Johns I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few! Our food came out in record time, the staff was friendly and bantered a bit with us, and the restaurant itself was spotless. This location had a drive thru (which is something new for me) and while we could have chosen that option as we were on a road trip- we went inside instead. The bathrooms are super clean, although the lighting in their is a bit dark. You can tell that there staff works hard and has fun all day long. read more

We order delivery from these folks all the time. All but once our orders arrive super fast. The orders are consistently accurate and we do ask for quite a few substitutions and addition. The other day they ran out of bread and there was a mix-up on what to do that was an honest misunderstanding between both them and myself. They made a second trip out to our house to get us what we wanted and make sure we were happy. Terrible service and even worse sandwich! Literally one slice of turkey and one slice of roast beef. My total was 9.75 so I gave the girl 10.75 and she took the dollar change and put it in the tip jar then saw I was disturbed by this and said oh you don't want to tip me. Lame !!! Never again will I pay 10.75 for two slices of meat stale bread and a ton of mayonnaise. Stopped here on our way from Bend to Boise. Staff was very friendly, took our order and quickly delivered our sandwiches. They were built correctly and tasted delicious. The location has plenty of parking and a drive thru. Staff was very friendly and happy. Music was a smidge loud, but it was a fun place. The sandwich was really good - obviously very fresh. The bread is WAY better than their dominant competition - store was very clean. The music (hip hop) was extremely loud and apparently it's company policy to have it that loud. PROS: I LOVE this location! They always get my order right and they really are freaky fast at their delivery. I also love the drive thru option that the other Bend location lacks. The staff is consistently polite and the store is always clean. I love their delivery drivers. Each and every one of them is very nice and hard working. CONS: I wish the music wasn't so loud. It would be nice to dine in but I never do due to the loudness. I've ordered from here well over 40 times due to the convenience of where my job is on the Eastside and I have only had one negative experience where the gal told me it was really hard to make a sandwich custom and it takes her too long to make it differently than what the menu says. Do not order delivery here if you live in an apartment complex! I made an order of 2 sandwiches, and when I was notified that it had arrived at my apartment, it was disappointing to see no food when I opened the door. I called the store explaining I didn't get my food, and they told me that since it was a "Leave at door order" there was nothing they could do and were 'freaky fast' to put the blame on me. The food never came to my doorstep which means the driver delivered the food to the wrong house... How is that my fault? This store is terrible. I've been there a few times, i keep wanting to give them a chance... I live less than a mile away and tonight it took 50 minutes to deliver!! I called and asked if I could just come and get it and the guy on the phone didn't ask for my name or what I had even ordered and said, "hold on I'll check" then came back and said, "it's out for delivery" and immediately hung up on my before I could say a word! Horrible customer service. We ordered multiple sandwiches online. They messed up my beach club; I wanted no mayo, it was doused with mayo. My husband mistakingly ordered his Italian Club w/ no salami when he wanted no ham. They wouldn't bring the Salami, which would have been on the sandwich anyway, along with a new sandwich for me to fix Their mistake. In the past, I've thought the French bread was too tough/hard, not soft as I feel bread should be, as well as a complete lack of toppings. They barely put Any avocado spread & only put extra shredded lettuce when I asked for extra tomato, cucumber, hot peppers, etc... I will NEVER recommend this chain to anyone. I love jimmy johns sandwiches. The extremely fresh bread makes it fabulous and when I get tired of bread, I can have any order as an Un-Wich...yummy wrapped in crunchy iceberg lettuce. Their dill pickles are especially delicious & I can't pass up on the hot pickled peppers because they are a great mix of very hot to mild, red & green. First let me preface this by saying that I absolutely love Jimmy John's and this restaurant has only been open for about a week, but this was the least satisfying experience I've ever had at a jimmy john's. The bread was stale and their slogan of "subs so fast you'll freak" certainly did not apply. My #9 Italian Night Club was so saturated in oil that it was hard to eat and in my wife's #4 Turkey Tom there was a piece of what looked like roast beef inside the wrapper. Over all there were no glaringly awful screw ups and that's why I'm leaving a three star review but this new location isn't quite up to par yet and I'll be sticking to the Old Mill location for now. read more

I personally really like Jimmy John's. But it is very disappointing that the only gluten-free option they offer, is a lettuce wrap. That is not a valid substitute. One of my family members is gluten intolerant which makes going to Jimmy Johns to eat difficult. We have started going to subway more frequently because they do offer gluten-free bread. I think Jimmy Johns is losing a lot of potential customers because of their lack of gluten-free bread. Very disappointed. read more
