Jimmy John's is great so this review is specific to this location on RR Ave in Bellingham. They advertise catering but I've never used it and I never will at this location. I put in an order online at 10:30 am for a delivery to a one hour event at 12:30 pm that same day. 15 minutes before the start of the event I got a call from a store employee who said they were going to get the order done on time because it was their lunch rush. At best they could get the order to me by 1:30, an hour late for an hour event. Fortunately, I was able to call another location who, during their lunch rush managed to get me 30 sandwiches made and ready by time I got there and I was only 10 minutes late for the event. I love this place. Have been to this store many times, and have yet to be disappointed. The bread they make the sandwiches is always above the standard. The flavor of the meats can always be tasted. When I have gone there, be it lunch or dinner. I have never waited long after ordering. Most of the time, they have finished the sandwich by the time I've finished paying for it. I've been to other Jimmy John's and they have made the sandwich somewhat dry and not layered the way a good sandwich should be made. This store can continuously serve high-quality food every time I've been there. The last sandwich I had tasted so good, I wanted to go back for 2nd's, but was too full to eat anymore. I stopped in to pick up a quick sandwich, an irrational irritated customer stared yelling and swearing at the poor girl behind the counter (she was by herself). My self and another customer tried to diffuse and calm her down but she continued to tell and and call the employee names. The employee handled it with grace and I hope she has a better day. Abysmal customer service! I called for delivery, and the person who answered the phone took my order, got my credit card number, and told me the order would be delivered shortly. About a half-hour later, I got a call from the store manager informing me that I am outside the delivery range, and that my order was ready but I would have to come pick it up. Really? They couldn't tell me this before I gave out my credit card? To top it off, once I was finally able to go get my order, the sodas they gave me were watered down from all the melted ice--even the drinks had been sitting there the whole time instead of being fresh ones. Usually with this franchise the bread is maybe a day old, today I ordered a sandwich and the bread is so hard I cannot eat the sandwich. Had to throw the bred away and it the innards. Not much to say that the commercials haven't. Fast, very fast, ok sandwich. That's it. Other then the fast service pretty unremarkable place. Don't have very many options, but if they did it would slow them down. Would recommend if you are hungry and cant wait. Super fast. I had a half of JJ's sandwich a while back (a friend split with me) and really liked it, despite the topping choices not being my cup of tea (heavy on the lunch meats). I promptly forgot about this place till a friend took me in last night, where I realized I love a #12 sandwich. Despite the store being a virtual ghost town (it was pretty late), our sandwiches were ready pronto. I liked my sandwich so much I had to go there today after skipping breakfast and finding myself running errands and NOT wanting greasy fast food. Ive had three sandwiches from Jimmy John's: the JJ Gargantuan, the Italian Night Club and the Tuna Salad. The first two were really first rate cold subs, but the Tuna was so chocked full of onion that it was all I could taste. If you're watching carbs, try the unwich, which is the option to get any sandwich o served in a lettuce wrap instead of bread. It gets four stars from me because there's no option for hot sandwiches and for the super oniony Tuna. read more

OK I love JJ. Not really rating the food, but the service here. They couldn't make me the sandwich I wanted, which I have ordered hundreds of times, it's pretty simple. I want a #9 with a Vito instead of the ham. The lady wouldn't ring it up without trying to charge me for extra meat, which there isn't since the Han is removed in place of the Vito, it's the same amount of meat....
