He and I had…read morebeen here once before they expanded, and I can honestly say that they stepped up their already awesome game. Everyone got something different, so for my part, I tried the caprese bruschetta and their Sunday Sauce pasta. I paired my meal with their Ginger mule mockcktail. The bruschetta was soooo good. The bread was incredibly flavorful and the feta, tomato, and balsamic married perfectly. The bread was also the perfect texture - not too crunchy, not too soft. Fresh cheese and cherry tomatoes provided the most delicious topping! My pasta was also really good. Their meat sauce was so savory and delicious, and the noodles (flat, wide - I forget the name!) were cooked to perfection. I'm glad I also got a side of toast - it was a slight upcharge ($1.50) but worth it for the quality. My Ginger mule was kind of meh, unfortunately. I think I was expecting it to be sweeter, and it was pretty bitter. The service was beyond outstanding. Our server was attentive, answered questions, and made sure our water glasses were never empty. Huge props to him. After our meal, the owner even came over and checked in. Very nice guy. They even gave my boyfriend a slice of cheesecake for his birthday for free. The noise level wasn't awful, either, and that was very appreciated as a Deafie. I was able to see everyone at the table (we were in a rounded booth) and the ambient noise wasn't distracting at all. Awesome experience, better food, phenomenal service.

This place seems very small town mom and pop - - the kind of thing you find up in Pinetop or Snowflake. They've added some of the plastic greenery panels and a lovely light fixture to give it a little flair on one side but the other side has shelves with T-shirts, crafts, jewelry and those little signs with clever sayings. When we arrived there were quite a few people, both in line and waiting for their orders. I think they had received a lot of online orders because the line was backed up and quite slow while the girl caught up with making orders. There was only her and a young man making food. When we finally got up to the counter, we had to wait a bit before she came to take our order. We ordered an iced latte, an iced white mocha, and a chocolate croissant. The coffee here is really, really good. The croissant was not really a croissant as I know it--it was more bread-y than light and flaky, and the chocolate was more like a ganache instead of the chocolate you usually get. It was good, just different. A second girl had come, and we got our order really quickly. This is the kind of place that the locals gather. There was one table with a group of old veterans having their coffee and breakfast.

The food I ordered came out in decent time and each one was flavorful. My personal preference would be to swap the sauces that were served with the calamari and the garlic knots. The calamari sauce was a bit chunky for me( it's their marinara sauce) and the garlic knot sauce was a bit thinner (their tomato sauce) both sauces had great flavor but I felt the garlic knots would be better with the marinara and the calamari with the tomato sauce. Other than that both of them very delicious. I would like to see both of these items served a little hotter, they were both warm when I received them but that is my preference as the temperature could be suitable for others. On to the ziti! This was great!! It came out piping hot and had a great cheese pull. The flavor was very good, the portion size was HUGE!!! It would definitely be enough for two people. The young lady that waited on me was very kind and checked in on me frequently. She came around and filled my drink (ice sweet tea) when she seen it was low. I think next time I will try some of their drink Options from the bar as well as the pizza.
