He's still an awesome doctor). I have been a patient of Dr. Malouf a little over two years now, after my work insurance changed & then after being laid off while on leave after being injured. Luckily I was able to carry him over and am blessed to still be able to see him. I still thank my aunt who used to be an RN and had worked the same hospital he had been at years ago for referring me to him. I am not a fan of going to the doctors, AT ALL! Especially, after finding out online, after a year, seeing my previous one, that my most recent nd long term doctor was on probation and how he pretty much decided after taking cash for services, that he was no longer going to handle my care, in the middle of it. With zero warning. Even though I was still technically under his care. This is where a good doctor definitely outshines a crappy doctor! Dr. Malouf on the other hand, has been nothing but patient, accessible, kind and friendly, which for me, means the world. Some of us have a very hard time talking about our health and vulnerabilities. While he will take the time to listen, he will also give pretty sound advice and recommendations if needed. He will treat you with respect. His office staff is great. There are times they are overbooked or busy and you might be rushed through or asked to follow up with another appointment for any secondary diagnosis due to work load, but that doesn't mean he will not follow up, nor respond to your calls or messages. He is the first doctor I have ever had that didn't make me wait a week or more for an answer to a question or concern or for important paperwork to be handled. If I needed a form filled out or anything else, he or another doctor in the group he is with at my home location were quick to help out if he were not available to do it himself. I highly recommend him.

When I come to be checked for my overall well-being, she's pretty thorough in asking questions and checking me and any symptoms. She's calm and easy-to-approach. Staff is nice and respectful, too btw. My problem is the waiting time. It's better to come at the time you're told in the text message, not earlier. I was seen by my doctor 30 minutes after the actual appointment time and had to wait for the nurse to come back in the room for my paperwork for 5-10 minutes. This is the longest wait time I've had for an appointment.

I had my 4 month daughter who had scratched her skin off in numerous spots and when I took her in I was told by the doctor it was normal and I didn't need to see a derm. which I had requested. It took about 2 visits in the same week not including the months appointments where I would bring it up as well, to get the referral and when I finally got seen was told my baby had severe eczema on 80% of her body, that's not a mistake that's straight neglect. Even moving clinics I find myself having to call and get my daughters vaccines faxed to a new location as the clinic did not keep her vaccine card up to date. I'm not sure if it was because I was a young mom or on government insurance but I do feel like we were not taken care of for that reason I would not recommend this clinic. I was struggling for months with the health of my daughter and with all the medications prescribed and nothing getting better there was still nothing being done with sleepless nights making sure my baby didn't keep scratching her wounds that were already covered with blood. It was so detrimental we kept socks on my baby until she was about 8 months even learning to stand with socks on her hands. She was behind in her motor skills due to her hands always being covered and was still told it was normal. ADVOCATE for your babies !!!

He is kind, clever, and truly spends time with you during your appointment. He listens and answers questions - all while letting my daughter play. His office staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. Recognizing us and making my daughter feel very comfortable. His team is incredible - My daughter has had to get shots, get a catheter, and step on that scary scale, and they are supportive and make it the best experience possible no matter what the procedure!

Then when my schedule got busy (as I told him it would) he refused to renew my medications until the next time I could make it in, which wasn't until the next month because of scheduling conflicts and him not having office hours on Saturday. These are medications that are not easy to simply stop using, but that's pretty much what I am being forced to do, unless I want to burn half a day for a ten minute office visit 20 miles from home during some of my busiest weeks of the year. Plus, his office staff is pretty lackluster, every time they've promised me a callback that day I had to call THEM back two days later. Moving on. I initially gave him a two star review, but gave him a grudging third star because there are many worse out there.

What started as a small bump on my father's skin -- which he specifically expressed concern about -- was brushed off by Dr. Afrasiabi as "possibly an infected pimple." We trusted her professional judgment, and that was a mistake. That so-called "pimple" turned out to be a fast-growing aggressive cancerous tumor. We just spent 12 hours in the hospital between radiology scans and a three-hour surgery to remove the tumor. When we returned to this office last week, Dr. Afrasiabi didn't apologize, didn't show empathy, and didn't take any responsibility for the misdiagnosis. She acted as if getting cancer was no big deal. And mind you all 3 devices of EKG were broken the day of our visit, which needed to be done urgently to get clearance for his operation today on 12/3/25. The lack of compassion was shocking. No patient -- especially someone facing a cancer diagnosis -- should ever be treated this way. I am deeply disappointed that someone like this Dr. Afrasiabi is allowed to care for patients. This may have been prevented months ago if the doctor had listened to my father's concerns and taken his symptoms seriously. But now we are forced to spend the next week anxiously waiting for biopsy results, praying the cancer hasn't spread and hoping for the best possible news. If you're looking for a doctor who listens, shows empathy, and takes concerns seriously, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
