Been going here for 20 years. But recently the service has been horrible waiting over two months for Orthopedic referral.

Dr. Stanowicz. did my Mohs surgery and I am shocked at what he did to my face…read more When I googled the Mohs surgery procedure plus read the brochure given to me by his office, the whole idea behind this type of surgery was to remove the basil cell carcinoma a thin layer by layer each time preserving as much of the cancer-free skin as possible. Dr. Stanowicz failed to do this for me. I had a basal cell on my chin that was smaller than the end of the head of an eraser on a pencil. The doctor excised a piece of flesh around the basil cell which was a little smaller than the size of a dime and a quarter of an inch deep. There was NO "layer by layer" excising where each thin layer was examined by the pathologist to determine whether the cancer had been entirely removed. My husband had stayed in the room during the procedure and viewed all of this happening. In addition, the doctor should have put in many tiny stitches so that the incision wouldn't be as noticeable. He put in 5 or 6 stitches so the incision has scarred between the stitches. Also the incision for this small basil cell on my chin begins just below my mouth and extends under my chin. During the surgery Dr. Stanowicz bragged that he could stitch up Mohs incisions better than most plastic surgeons. NO WAY!! This surgery should take a few hours. Dr. Stanowicz completed it in about 25 minute and 10 of those minutes were spent waiting for the biopsy. When the pathologist said that there was a clear margin around the basal cell, I wasn't surprised because so much flesh had been initially taken off my face. Dr. Stanowicz made an ugly scar on my face. He definitely skipped the "layer by layer" procedure detailed by Mohs and instead cored my face like an apple and did a lousy job of stitching me up. BEWARE!!!

Only gave one star because I couldn't give zero. Jerk, ego-head. I have SUFFERED WITH a rash…read morepossibly known as perioral-ocular dermatitis. I knew what antibiotic to be put on, Amoxicillon or Augmentin (same family). I had used it for an infection in my throat and it almost cleared the rash up. I told this to THE DOC and his Docs that work under him, they DID NOT BELIEVE ME. They wrongly prescribed a medicine (hydrocortisone) that MAKES IT WORSE! It suppresses the immune system, so the bacteria are free to reproduce at a great rate. NOW, over a year later, after begging docs to prescribe the right stuff, I finally got the medicine for another throat infection. Now, this HORRIBLE DEBILITATING DISFIGURING rash is disappearing at an alarming rate. The infection went all the way into the lining of my mouth because THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE PATIENT. DON'T GO THERE. FORGET THOSE DOCS. RESEARCH AND CURE YOURSELF.
