I WOULD PUT THIS AT 0 STARS IF I COULD. I had initially scheduled an appointment and had the office confirm my appointment the day prior. BEFORE THAT, I sent them my mri report, which have my information and why I would need consulting. They told me that they do take patients with my insurance plan, BUT NOT MY AGE GROUP. Only ages 55+. WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT TWO WEEKS FOR THIS INFORMATION AT THE FRONT OFFICE 15 MINUTES BEFORE MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT? They had 2 weeks to notify me this with the information they had from my Mri report I sent them from the time I initially scheduled the appointment. Very unprofessional. I need consulting done on my knee and they had me wait two weeks and for me to come in early as was told by a phone call the day prior, just to reject me. This is insulting. People need medical attention and you are brushing them away with unprofessional lack of due diligence. Very irresponsible. Not trustworthy. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Marfleet for 6 years and he is a great day. Listens to you and helps guide you which not many drs do anymore. Always wish he was in more but I understand why he isn't. If i could give 0 i would. Receptionist are rude both over phone and in person. When you want to schedule an appointment with Barry, he is never physically there. Instead you get scheduled with doctor assistants who are not well medically trained. They don't know what they are doing. Is that even legal for the doctor to never be there. Every person i ask gets booked with same assistant never with doctor. You have to wait for about 5months for basic blood work results. This is unacceptable. read more

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Marfleet and the lady asked me if I have or if I had covid, and I told her I had covid a moth a go, and my appointment was scheduled 2 weeks after so by the time I go to my appointment, it would be over 45 days, they called me a day before my appointment and asked me to submit a negative covid test, I told her that it has been over 45 days since I tested positive and I asked if it is required that all patient need to provide a negative covid test before their appointment and she said no, it is only required because I was tested positive even if it was 45 days ago. I have been seeing Dr. Marfleet since I was 15 and I am now 45. All through that time he has given me advice and truly cared about me. He has helped me through bad times and shared in the good times. You will never find a Dr. like this again. He spends so much time with you. Don't get mad if you have to wait a little longer to be seen, because the person after will have to wait as he will spend so much time with you. I'm confused by these other reviews, I went to this doctor because it seems like he would be pretty amazing. I went to get my prescriptions filled and make him my new PCP. Another review said they had no problem, well I it was a disaster for me, my prescriptions for anxiety and depression for years Barry did not want to give me. I almost lost my shit, that is not cool. When i do not have these it feels like my head will explode my eyes and brain are shaking. I get so out of wack. I had just recently gone to the ER because of this and had to get a prescription for them while waiting for my insurance to hurry up and go through, that's why I didn't already have a PCP. Nurse was very rude to me, my friend, and my baby. Giving us the dirtiest looks, not making conversation, and would look down at the ground if she had to talk to us. So disrespectful. Also, they do nothing for you. They wanted me to call my insurance to see if there was a copay and if I had to meet a deductible. Which is so frustrating because they are there to do this for us, that is a part of there job... as a patient all I should do is make my appt and be ready to be seen. Another thing nobody was in the office or in the back (no one came out before I went in) I spent most of my time in the waiting room for this visit which is unbelievable. And just for my prescriptions, even though I was new i didn't receive a physical or anything. Anyways, not a pleasant experience especially with such an old doctor who can't hear me and did not understand anything I was trying to tell him. Staff not so friendly or helpful honestly. I wont be going back here. Not somewhere I'm comfortable sharing personal things and getting exams yearly. P.S. Disgusting building, and Marfleet doesn't even show his name clearly or outside the building so it's confusing where you should go in, and is under construction as well. read more

Been seeing dr Marfleet for a long long time. He is an excellent physician and has a great staff. I first started seeing dr Marfleet over a decade ago when his office was in Tustin. His attention to detail, consistently excellent diagnosis and treatment, but most of all his manner and care are the reasons I would recommend his practice. Please read!!! Be aware of the management at this office! Recently, I got a notice that I had baLance due from 10 months ago. I never received a phone call during this time!!! Today, I was caught off guard when a lady requested me to verify my address. Great! Now, what is this call in regards to? Well, apparently I had a balance! Wow. 10 months later and no call or mail since then...? This lady told me that she had talked to me before, a lie, and proceeded to tell me that I was "rude" because I kept cutting her off. Well, I will cut her off if she doesn't let me speak. Well, she then hung up on me! Yes, a representative from this "reputable" office hung up on me! I called back. Spoke to the Office Manager, who proceeded to laugh at me when I said that was unprofessional and that I would be writing a letter to the Dr. to let him know who is the reason of him losing business...them! Long story short, I paid them immediately. As I would have done in any other situation with an outstanding debt. Well, I am still going to write a letter to the doctor and will hand deliver it to him. I refuse to be treated like I was treated and not have him realiZe the type of women he has running his office. I would also love to give you additional details of my experience there! . Old nurses. Rude nurses. Confrontational nurses. Judgmental nurses. Dr. Marfleet was "ok", nothing made me want to go back. I think that the best thing I could do is let you all know that this place is horrible! Please look for a different office! Ok, two years later and Dr, Marfleet continues to be the best doctor ever! I have no health insurance and Dr, Marfleet knows this and is so willing to work with me. I went to see him a couple of weeks ago with infection in both of my lungs, my sinuses and my throat. Dr. Marfleet gave me an antibiotic injection and sent me home with more antibiotics and cough syrup and charged me less than $100!! That is amazing!! Dr, Marfleet genuinely cares about his patients. Randomly found him online in order to fill a prescription and IM SO GLAD I DID! He is one of the coolest doctors I've ever met, all I came for was to find a new physician to prescribe a medication and he spent his time with me for over an hour giving his helpful advice and opinion about certain things I need help with. He might as well be a life coach because after I left his office I had a fresh state of mind. The entire staff is very friendly and the office is very clean. Even though someone isn't usually up to going to a doctor, I'm looking forward to the next time I'm there! read more

Dr. Marfleet is so great! His office staff and nursing staff are also wonderful! He actually takes time to listen and talk to you about options, what you should be doing, and just life in general. Wish I didn't have to rate with stars, but since I do, one is my personal opinion. I'm not trying to be malicious. I just wanted to give information to anyone else interested. I walked into the office and asked the front desk if they take cash patients, to which she replied they do. My next question was whether or not the doctor would sign a personal belief exemption from vaccines for my son, (since it is the new law that a doctor must sign off now). She said, "That's never come up before. Let me ask the doctor." She walked back to ask the doctor and came back to tell me that he would sign one for myself but not for children. Based on the wonderful reviews I am sure the doctor is a very nice person. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and I am sure that is what he believes is best for children. It's unfortunate though. I think it speaks volumes to the diminishing parental rights in this country. Hopefully he will do the research in the future and/or at least meet with the parent to make sure they're not a whack job and know what they're talking about. C'est la vie. On to find a doctor that is more knowledgeable and familiar with the freedoms the citizens of the United States of America are supposed to have. read more
