I…read morehad never done acupuncture before, but heard good things about it helping with fertility, and wanted to see if trying something different this round would help. The studio is a very calming place to walk into, and Deanna was very warm and put me at ease. I really appreciate the calmness there, and always looked forward to my sessions. She was extremely knowledgable and competent in forging a plan for me to help in each stage of the IVF process. I felt in very safe hands, and though I don't really know how the magic of acupuncture works, it made all the difference for me. I got pregnant, and have had a very comfortable, mobile, sane, easy experience that I am so grateful to have had given the high risks of my pregnancy. I am now a week away from delivering my baby, and would recommend Tao to anyone struggling with health or fertility issues.

I really appreciated my experience here. I think I was an "open-minded skeptic" coming for my first…read moreever acupuncture. The approach to talking about my injury was "accessible" to my "western medicine" upbringing. And most importantly: my third visit was like turning the switch off for my pain. I probably had a pinched nerve in my neck, but due to delays seeing a pain specialist through my primary care, I was trying anything. I ultimately was seeing a "western medicine" doctor and Tao to Wellness at the same time. But the timing of my pain shutting off is strongly suggestive that acupuncture played a big part in shortening the duration (which my "western medicine" pain specialist had suggested would be possible). Deanna was my acupuncturist.

Candise has been incredibly thorough in understanding my symptoms week to week. She's thoughtful, attentive, informative and it truly feels like she's fully present with me for the entire session. The acupuncture has helped relieve discomfort due to my original symptoms, but she's also addressed tension in my head/neck, ankle pain after a sprain, and more along the way. She's also provided herbal medicine that's been custom-tailored every week and incredibly helpful.I leave every session feeling physically more calm and at ease, and emotionally more regulated too.
