This shop is a staple in Bedford. It has been around since 1948. They have a very extensive menu that not only has frozen treats, but also food. They offer slushes, sundaes, banana split, cyclones (blizzards), and hand scooped cones and cups. Their ice cream is homemade and please be on the lookout for the fall flavors. They also have hotdogs, sloppy joes, cheese curds, salads, nachos, taco salad, chicken sandwiches, BLTs, walking tacos, ham and cheese, grilled cheese and chilli. The shop has a patio area that is under a pergola, so it is not fully covered. There is an adequate amount of seating available there, but it was a bit chilly out there during my visit. If you are eating at the patio, you still place you order at the window and then when it is ready, they will call your order out over the PA system. After you get your order, you can take it to-go or find a seat on the patio to enjoy your treat and/or food. The shop also has a drive through for those that do not want to leave their vehicles. I ordered a couple of slushies, a lemonade one and an apple one. They were pretty good. I ordered a couple of hot dogs and a vanilla cone for my littles. I got me a sloppy Joe. It took about 8 minutes to get my food. The frozen treats were brought out much earlier. My sloppy joe was OK. It was average, nothing special. But you should not expect much when you order food from an ice cream shop. The hot dogs were not very appealing and my son did not even finish his. I would say they were pretty average as well. The staff there was super friendly. Some of the friendliest I have experienced in a while. I recommend checking this place out to get your frozen treat fix. If you plan on getting food from here, I would just not expect much. read more

This was my fist time to this local spot. The drive-thru line was really long, so I decided to order at the window. There was only one person in line to order. I waited over 15 minutes just to give my order. I waited another 13 minutes just to get my drink and ice cream. Then my "coney" came out 8 minutes later. (See pic) The wait time was over half an hour and not worth the wait. I gave three stars for the sugar free ice cream option. It was very good! Overall, I was disappointed in my experience. It's a cute and relaxing spot. Beautiful flowers and picnic tables to sit outside. But, the food and wait time was horrible. read more

I love Jiffy Treet! It's a cute place to hang out with friends or family and grab some ice cream or just go through the drive thru to satisfy a craving. The line can be long at times, especially during the summer, but it moves quick and is worth it. The ice cream is so tasty. I am a fan of the persimmon soft serve during thanksgiving time. I only had a chance to try the milkshakes on my visit to Jiffy Treet. Was it the best milkshake I've ever had? Quite possibly! I chose to mix two flavors: peanut butter and chocolate chip. The wait time was pretty quick and Jiffy Treet offers both drive through and walk up services. They have a patio that is pretty large so you can "dine in" if you choose. I highly recommend swinging by Jiffy Treet for an ice cream dessert. I didn't try any of their other food so can't speak to that. read more

All the workers are sweet and they are very helpful with making my odd ball orders Every Friday I take my wife and nieces here to get food (mostly ice cream) and I always get two large dream delite cyclones usually with a small serving of cinnamon toast crunch in one of them and some random from the mixin menu in the other. It is so hard to choose what to get here, because everything looks so so good. My aunt and I both got sloppy joes, we shared some fried pickles and fried mushrooms, and I got a turtle sundae and she got a German chocolate Cyclone. Everything was incredible. I couldn't even finish the sundae it was so big. The pickles were hot and the breading was seasoned well and most importantly, wasn't falling off the pickles (they were spears, not slices, the best kind!). The mushrooms were good but they weren't anything too special, and I always love sloppy joes. I feel like I need to return here a hundred times just to try everything on the menu, it's really extensive. The long wait in line was made up by the fact that our food was paid for by the person in front of us (how nice!) and that the food was soooo good. read more

This is literally the best place to eat in all of bedford. from absolutely delicious food to the great service to the best ice cream in the county and probably surrounding ones too, you really can't beat it! the only issue with this place is that it get too popular at times and the lines get really long. also, they have the best chicken strips i have EVER had. The one thing 'wrong' with Jiffy Treet is the sad fact that they have soft serve ice cream, and do not have frozen custard. Frozen custard is among the greatest inventions in the history of mankind, ever. That small issue aside, if you don't like Jiffy Treet, there must be something wrong with you. Gotta love Jiffy Treet. Sure the name appears misspelled and the pictures are from 1985, but the "treets" here are delicious. In my opinion, Bedford's finest ice cream shop. Stopped in Monday night on the way to the talent show, needing a cold drink. I ordered a Pepsi, my daughter ordered a "fresh squeezed" lemonade, and her friend ordered a cyclone. Well.... My Pepsi MIGHT have been good if the ice used in it was not disgusting. It had a "chemical" taste to it, that ruined the drink. I tossed it. My daughter's "fresh squeezed lemonade" had NO lemon, just clumps of sugar and the same disgusting ice. It got dumped. Her friend's caramel apple cyclone, in his words, "tastes like Play-Doh".
