I got a oil change and it was fairly priced $4 add on for coolant replacement, would recommend!

Oil light came on after inspection. I did not get oil change. They seem do have issues with my car.

I requested an oil change and a tune up. A week after the appointment my oil light came on. I believe the oil filler lid was never tightened properly because now there's oil all over the engine and battery. There goes 5 quarts of expensive oil because of their mistake. That was the icing on the cake after paying roughly $600 on total services. Not satisfied. I did appreciate their friendly customer service. Nice guys. read more

While getting an oil change there, they also checked fluids and put air in the tires. Before I even got home, one of my tires ended up going flat. Not sure what they did, but I think they pushed the stem so hard they broke the seal. When I checked the tire pressures right after that, they were all different. This was right after they had supposedly made them all the same. As I was checking the tire pressures, I saw I had a nail in my other back tire. A roofing nail that appears to have been driven straight into it. Not saying they put a nail in my tire, but it wasn't there BEFORE I went there. They also attempted to charge me over $900 for a repair that I supposedly needed in order to pass inspection. However, my regular mechanic said that kind of repair would cost about 1/3 of the price they quoted. And he and one other shop BOTH told me that it wasn't something they even check for a safety inspection. Sorry, but looking at what Jiffy Lube tried to get me to have done really seemed kind of shady. The next day, I went back to get brakes and rotors put on the front, not because they said I needed them, but because I knew the rotors were slightly warped. I told them about the flat tire and the nail on the other, and they said they were not allowed to fix tires if they weren't doing the inspection, and they couldn't do the inspection without fixing that $900+ repair. Again, shady, and you'd think if a customer has a serious SAFETY issue with tires, that they would be obligated to fix it, instead of saying it wasn't their policy to just fix flats. When they were finished replacing the brakes and rotors and I had paid the bill, I went to drive off, and one of the mechanics who was leaving for the day pointed out that they had forgotten to put the cover back on the tire (over the lugs). So, someone went back inside and found it, and they put it back on. But when I got home that afternoon, I noticed ANOTHER one had fallen off. It's pretty obvious they didn't put that one back on properly. I can't imagine ever going back there again, considering all that happened that weekend. read more

I have been going to the Jiffy Lube on E Market St, York, PA and the guys were always great. Usually just go the oil changed and every once in a while got a new filter. They vacuumed and topped off fluids. This last time I went IS my last time going there. The guys there were talking about me and my car in Spanish to each other. I said English please and the tech asking to verify my info snapped at me and said HE DOESN'T understand English when in fact this other guy spoke to me outside in English very clear. Plus they overcharged me and now my car runs like SHIT!!! I am so disappointed with this new crew none of my other guys are there and it was frustrating to say the least. Now i will have to take my car to another garage to find out what they screwed up to make my car sound like a junker. read more

i went to get my oil done there, which almost everything turned out fine except they undid a crank case bolt that was next to the oil pan and never screwed it back on because it was the wrong area they were looking at. I went the whole time with a bolt undone and they are lucky nothing came abt it. Very disappointed and upset with that. I will never go back and will do my own oil. read more

Never. Again. Went for an oil change only. I usually go to Lube center right down the road where I'm in and out within 15-20 min but I had a gift card I needed to use. They make you get out of your car and go sit in a crusty waiting room with a bunch of people. I sat in this waiting room watching family feud with strangers for an HOUR and a HALF! They gave no updates or wait estimates. I was expecting it to be like lube center where you pull in and stay in your car and are out in 15 min....boy was I mistaken. I would've paid the $25 gift card just to have them let me leave. Then the bill was 130 dollars just for oil change and new filters. AND they left all the stuff in my glove box all over the floor of my car ( that's how to get to my air filter). Please save your sanity and go somewhere else! read more

Had the worse experience ever! Pulled up and noticed 2 cars parked with 2 in the shop no big deal. We sat for about 10 minutes before a girl came out, she did not pay attention at all was worried about all sorts of other stuff. She said it would be about an hour, we said okay, we will leave the car here and be back. After an hour we showed back up, now the place was packed about 6-7 new cars were there parked in line and mine hadn't been touch. I went to the window and asked are they going to get to this you close in an hour. She was so sorry, she thought we were coming back tomorrow when I made it clear I needed it by the end of the day. By 6:30 they still had not touched my car. I asked for my keys back, she was "sorry they promised they would get to it". Not sure I'll ever be back to this locations as others we're waiting over 2 hours. read more

I got here right at open and was the second in line. Decided to wait it out as I really needed my car inspected. They took a total of 6 cars (including the one when I pulled up) before I saw mine enter the building. Told me about 2 hours and it was shorter. But it's very frustrating to watch everyone in the waiting area leave with their cars before you. read more

So after my son sat for nearly 2 hours, watching people come and go, on a basically slow day, His trip to JiffyLube for a simple oil change took way to long and his car has been acting up ever since... He takes very good care of his car, so he looks underneath and the filter was leaking, he pops the hood to check the dip stick only to see black oil, like they never changed it but poured a quart in... I brought a company vehicle in. When I was greeted by a tech, I said that I needed an oil change and state inspection. They took me into the waiting area. For the next TWO AND A HALF HOURS, that would be their only interaction with me. Probably 12-15 customers pulled in after me, got taken care of, and left, but not a single Jiffy Lube employee acknowledged me, or said anything about the status of my truck. Suddenly, I got a random voicemail from an out of state area code from 40 minutes prior. It was one of their techs (all of whom were, at any given point, were never more than 20 feet from me) telling me I needed to email them the insurance information. I went to the counter and approached them, telling them I needed to know the status -- and asked why they couldn't just come out to me and ask for the insurance information in the 2.5 hours I had waited, instead of calling me from an out of state number from their shop 20 feet from me. I was told "oh, we didn't know you were here." I'm completely blown away at how this happens, and how they can take the keys, drive it into their shop, and 2.5 hours later, say "we didn't know you were here". I explained that at this point, I was running late for a service call for a customer and that didn't seem to make a bit of difference. As I'm writing this review, it's now been over three hours and there is still no status on my van. Some simple communication from them could have saved a lot of time and they weren't willing to do anything to get me on my way sooner. This is absolutely horrible. Save the frustration, go elsewhere. read more

My oil was changed without problem, but the mechanic tried to up sell me on everything. Apparently if you are a women it's ok for mechanics to lie about things to make you spend more. Annoying. When I went to get in my car the hood was bent. I asked the man who checked me out to come look at it because it was stuck and I couldn't open it. He looked at me like I was crazy. Once he got my hood open there was a screw driver laying on top the engine. He said sorry. My hood remains to have a small bend, thanks! After handling the hood issue, I get in the car to find a dirty air filter laying on the seat and the glove box removed, laying on the floor. I did not go back inside again, I figured out how to put the filter and glove box back in myself. Obviously I should've gone somewhere else for my oil change. read more

The staff is always very friendly here and I have never had an experience where they tried to rip me off. For being a place that doesn't take appointments, I thought they were very quick to get my inspection done on the spot. If you do have to wait, there's a Dunkin Donuts next to them where you can sit instead of the little waiting room. read more

Good staff, good service, good overall experience. A previous reviewer commented that they were up-selling her. Hey, here's a news flash... ALL of these places try up-selling you these days! So yeah, they will try to upsell you on something else but if you don't want it, just say you don't want it. read more

HORRIBLE. Don't get me wrong the people were nice but... Convinced me to pay way to much!!! Took advantage of me because I didn't know exactly what I was talking about, all I wanted was an oil change, it came out to 150.00 dollars. And now to top everything off, my engine light is on, literally the day after my oil change. Don't get your oil changed here, and if you do, know what you're doing, don't act clueless even if you are. And be careful. read more
