Just three…read moreminutes down the road, my vehicle completely shut off while driving, leaving me stranded in a very unsafe situation. Two strangers had to help me push my vehicle into an alleyway. I was barely able to restart it long enough to get back home, but the car continued to shut off multiple times while in motion. Concerned for my safety and my son's, I took the car to AutoZone, where they tested the battery. The results showed that my battery was still good, but I replaced it anyway to eliminate the possibility. Even after installing a new battery, the same dangerous issue persisted -- the car would randomly cut off while I was driving. At this point, I took my vehicle to NTB, who had serviced my car before. They informed me that the battery was fine and that a diagnostic test was needed, at a cost of $158 per hour. Worried about my car's safety, I agreed. After diagnostic testing, the NTB technicians discovered that my vehicle had severe oil leakage. My car's system has a fail-safe feature that causes it to shut off when the oil is critically low. At the time, my vehicle only had 1.5 quarts of oil left, when it requires at least 5. This explained the repeated stalling and cutting off. The NTB mechanic explained that the oil leak was the result of Valvoline improperly performing my last oil change in August. He stated that if I had continued driving for even another week, my entire engine would likely have blown, resulting in catastrophic and extremely costly damage. For transparency, I requested a detailed invoice and write-up, which clearly documented their findings. After paying $322.46 for diagnostics and service at NTB, I immediately went to Valvoline to address the issue. I first spoke with Ashlee, the manager, who admitted that Valvoline had not done the oil change correctly and confirmed that, had my engine blown, they would have been responsible. Despite this, she said she would only reimburse the $98 I had paid for the original oil change, refusing to cover the $322.46 I had just spent to diagnose and remedy the problem caused by Valvoline's negligence. I then asked to speak to the store manager (name not provided to me). His behavior was unprofessional, condescending, and outright rude. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, he blamed me for not noticing the oil leak sooner, despite the fact that I only learned of it after NTB's inspection. He also made an inappropriate remark that refunding me wouldn't matter because "he couldn't get the oil or filter back." This statement was both unhelpful and dismissive. The bottom line is this: * Valvoline's negligence directly caused a severe oil leak. * My car was left in a dangerous and unsafe condition, shutting off while driving with my child in the car. * I had to spend $322.46 out of pocket to fix their mistake, in addition to the time, stress, and risk involved. * Valvoline acknowledged their fault but refused to make me whole, offering only a $98 refund for the original oil change. Had my engine blown, Valvoline confirmed they would have been responsible. That acknowledgement alone proves liability. Yet they refused to reimburse the actual damages I incurred as a direct result of their poor workmanship. This experience has been both distressing and infuriating, and I cannot recommend this location to anyone. Customers trust Valvoline to maintain their vehicles properly. In my case, they not only failed at the most basic level, but their management also treated me with disrespect and zero accountability when I raised legitimate concerns backed by diagnostic proof. Final Verdict: Valvoline's improper service endangered me and my child, cost me over $322 in repairs, and resulted in some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you value your safety and your vehicle, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere.

The tech that did it apologized repeatedly, and even though I was given a $40 discount on the oil change, nobody offered me compensation for my oil-stained shirt. Needless to say, I won't be returning there, especially since that wasn't the first time I encountered unprofessional behavior there.

This place wanted 150-180 $ an hour. Could be less I'm not quoting off my receipt.... I went in for new tie rods upper and lower,alignment, and the possibility of a transmission fluid change --KSP sells a kit for 219$ upper+lower 3x as thick for lifted trucks-- I was quoted (could be less or more,not going directly off the receipt) 200 for outer tie rod per side 150 per inner tie rod 700$ +labor and the thought of the rest without full labor charge. 1800$....... That much for a tie rod replacement??? I could get a cheaper deal at the Chevy dealership and get free coffee and better Warranty on work I got the cheap option which was the alignment Not that bad at around 150$ even tho I've had one done for 80$ in Philly....... I'm not a bad customer and I'm not one to complain like this but I have never heard such company bs like this , I mean come on it's a simple job that the mechanic I like in town would have done for less than a 10000$ at --CR Smith radiator and auto repair--, real older style mechanic that isn't here to sell a kidney just to get you back on the road I ordered all the parts to do everything myself and the total was 350$, no bs no company modo on crap, going to find a different alignment shop and never return to this place. This review would not even be on here if they wouldn't have left the doors to my truck unlocked over night with over 10k $ of laser level equipment and hilti tools in the back seat, for a premium price I want premium service and if YOU CANT DO A SIMPLE TASK TO LOCK MY FNG DOORS it's not even close !. I took my car to another shop two days after and got a lightbulb and I told them what they said to me in Monro, about the struts and they said that that's not at all true they're perfectly fine!! They were gonna charge me around $1200 to get them fixed. What a joke honestly, almost got me!!

    My daughter got her tires fixed here 2 weeks ago. Someone had slashed her 2 tires. First they said…read morethey had to order them . She had to spend the night in PA for the tires to arrive . Than they told her tires would arrive before 10 am and they finally got there after 12. Than it took them 4 hrs to change 2 tires. At the end they told her 580 and she gave them the card. They gave her the keys and she was heading back to NY when they called her to tell her that she needs to pay more and the services were now 630 not 518?!? Are you insane ? Well bottom line is they never charged her card and now they tried to get her back there to cover their mistake .... Totally unacceptable !! I will never recommend such services !!

They finished at 11:45 am. They wasted time with a vehicle inspection that was not asked for and told not wanted. Just put the tires on. Asked if they could check the psi in the spare tire since they are replacing all 4 tires and it would be up on a lift. Told no. They refuse to do anything with the spare. Didn't ask them to take it off. The vehicle is up on a lift. How hard is it to check the air in a tire? Really, how hard is that? Poor customer service and appreciation. Can't go that extra mile to keep customers happy and coming back. I have no plans on coming back after they refused to check the psi in my spare time, wasted our time making us wait for a unwanted and not needed vehicle inspection. And the fact it took almost 3 hours to put 4 tires on. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, asked them how much longer. Was told should be done soon ( took another 30 mins to finish. 30 mins isn't soon ) and given a bunch of excuses. Like they had a lot of people come in the same time, etc. But there tracking link to track the job shows they haven't even started the job. Our appointment was at 9am. That means you start working at 9am. Not after. Not start then go to another job. You make an appointment, you start the job at that time and finish it. What's the point of making appointments if you can't do the job? Complete waste of time. Overcharged on tire disposal. Kept one tire but charged for disposal for 4 tires. Highly NOT recommended. Long story short, they gave us the wrong tire to keep. When I called, Jay was very rude and hung up on me when I asked for a manager. Went in and spoke with Craig. He helped get the right tire and said he will let his dm know. He admitted the installer messed up. Also, when I went in and was talking to the manager, this employee Jay, rudely interrupted me. I asked the manager to speak in private and we did. Finally heard from the company on 3/10/26. There customer service is sad. I contacted them like they asked and nothing happen. Had to file a BBB complaint which took a month to get someone to call me about who refused to give his name or title. He refused to do anything and defended the employee rudeness and allows the employees to disrespect customers. Defended the manager for not taking action when the employee was rude and disrespectful to customers. Defended the long wait times and sees no issue in that. This company is the worse. Stay far away from them and go elsewhere. They do not care about customers and allow the staff to disrespect you freely.
