Battery Connection Issue I purchased a battery at a different location. It was not installed correctly. I took my car to Team 1 Auto in Mechanicsburg. They have serviced my car in the past. I was confident my issue would be corrected. It was to my expectations. Always done correctly the first time. I highly recommend Team 1 Auto!! read more

I had a problem with anti freeze and they billed me over $1,500. dollars! and told me the issue was resolved. The next day I realized the same problem persisted, and they told me bring it back. Later they called me to come get the car, when I got there they handed me another bill, this time for $1,700., telling me more parts needed replaced!, a car with less than 44,000 miles on it. Never again will I return to any of their locations. I talked to the state police about this as well. read more

My car had a problem, and I chose Team One to check it out. They claimed to have repaired it. In less than a week, I had to call them and tell them the same problem was still occurring. Bring it back, they told me. When I came to pick it up again, they were glad to tell me it was now fixed, along with an Additional LARGE bill they were happy to hand me. They, of course, lost my business for good. I'm also happy to tell my story to others. read more

Horrible experience, avoid team one at all costs. Promised loaner car was not provided and it took more than twice the quoted time. Got updates from a guy who never left is chair! Go anywhere else! One star rating is ten more than they deserve. read more

I bring both my cars there and the service is always spot on no problems or unnecessary repairs

Ran into an unexpected issue on a short road trip and fortunately I was right across the street from this business. Todd and his team worked me in immediately and got us on the road (safely) after taking care of our issues. Greatly appreciate all the help! read more

Short Story: Place of dishonest people. Will dupe you and give a very low sub-standard service. Went here for Emissions inspection and got back with damaged brakes that almost got me into an accident. The store manager (Ken) blamed it on coincidence that my brake pads were damaged at the same time they did an inspection and brake light switch replaced. Escalated to the owner, Jason Warren, of the store and eventually the store manager owned up the mistake and repaired the car 4 different times - every time I had to drop my car - over a period of 1 month 10 days. And you know what, the problem is still NOT fixed and it only took me a 1 mile ride to figure it. Go to this store at your own peril and if you enjoy to suffer. Long Story: Gave my car for just State and Emissions inspection, got it back with my brakes damaged that almost got me into accident. While inspecting, the store manager called me and mentioned that the brake lights are not working and will need a replacement of a switch and can cost me $160 for diagnostics, labor and parts. Trusting them innocuously (the biggest mistake!!), I said it is OK to get it done. After getting the car back and driving for 2 miles, the brakes were being auto applied in the middle of highway and my car was slowing down automatically. I went really panicked and was lucky not to get into an accident. There was an exit available immediately and took it and was able to come home with hazard lights on. Upon arrival, I observed burning rubber smell and smoke from the tires. Went to the store early in the morning and dropped of the car for the store manager's review. He mentioned that this is a case of pure coincidence that my brakes are damaged at the same time when had done some repair on the car. Keeping the good will in mind, he offered to get it repaired for $400 ONLY. Wow, see the compassion here!! Rightly furious, I did not budge and mentioned that they cannot name their inability as a coincidence and dupe me out of money. I went ahead and escalated the issue to the owner, Jason Warren. I think he talked to the store manager and eventually Ken called me and mentioned that they will repair it for free, how kind? He repaired the car, the first time, it did not fix the problem. Had to go back again after a day. Left the car. Took Uber, wen to to work. Came to pick it up. Drove for a mile or two. Observe the same problem. Dropped it again in the morning and repeat. Imagine doing this for 4 different times over a period of 1 month and 10 days, it drove me crazy. And the end result, the car is STILL NOT FIXED. Have the same problem, took me only a ride of 1 mile to figure out the problem still persists. This time, I emailed the owner telling him about how pathetic his staff has been, guess what, NO RESPONSE! The store manager also wouldn't return the calls. After this traumatic experience, I wanted to let everyone about this so that they wouldn't have to go through the same hell as I have. Also, this is not the case of a one-off incident. I've been repeatedly given false claims that my car is fixed and ready to go. This just indicates the way they operate, dishonest and greedy. read more

I stopped in for an oil change and after neglect of my vehicle for months they noticed my rear tire was wobbly and about to fall off and that my brake lining was leaking severely the car was not safe and with a 3 week old newborn I couldn't keep neglecting the work. They got me a credit card so I could get the work done on the car and make it safe again. Gave me a ride home and came to pick me up when it was all done. Car is riding so much better and feels so much more firm. Thank you read more

This place is a complete RIPOFF. I've done business with their York, PA location in the past and had great service and prices. I moved to the Carlisle area a fews back and decided to keep doing business with them. Oil changes were no problem...kool. Then I needed some REAL work done here's where the BS starts. A couple years back my 4 wheel drive needed servicing. It took these people 3 different times and 2 different diagnoses at $75 each to figure out it was the transfer case then they put in a faulty one. Finally got a new one put in and had to pay extra for that. More recently tried to give them benefit of doubt went back to have 1 engine mount and oil pan gasket changed and I had my OWN BRAND NEW PARTS....told me it would be $1100. Sorry got it done somewhere else for $540. This morning I got off work and because they are convenient I told myself this time might be different...how wrong I was. This past Saturday my "Service Air Bag" indicator came on. My Avalanche is a 2008 so I expect things to come up and I'm not surprised when they do. 144k miles and runs sweet!!! Anyway I go in and ask the gentleman at front desk if he can reset it and and possible diagnose. He beated around the bush about putting machine on to reset it but told me I could drop it off at a price of $90 for a 1 hour diagnose.....FOH!! I understand they are in business to make money but really. As a past customer I found that to be ridiculous. Needless to say I'll NEVER go back here no matter how convenient they are. read more

I can't praise Jason enough. I was traveling from out of state when my transmission blew. I made a few calls to get the transmission replaced while in Mechanicsburg rather than pay for a $1200 tow and then replace it back home. I contacted Jason at 4:30pm on Friday. By 8am Saturday he had a replacement that he had to pick up in Maryland and by 3pm I was on the road back to Connecticut. The service was amazing and after talking to a few friends I found out that we weren't charged an out of state premium and were given an extremely fair price. Jason even went as far out of his way to offer us rides while the truck was in the shop. He went to the extreme to take care of strangers and keep us in the loop with the progress. I actually left there thinking that he and I were old friends with the way he interacted and communicated. You don't find too many places or people like this anymore and Mechanicsburg is lucky to have this shop there. I would recommend to anyone, anytime, for anything. read more

Almost 3 hours - with appointment - and the first person at the shop - to replace 2 tires and alignment. Ken is no longer with the company - place seems to have gone downhill. NOT HAPPY. read more

Team One saved me a lot of money over taking my car for routine service at the dealer, over $100.00. Their work is guaranteed to keep warranty in effect as well. Dealer does give a loaner and car wash and vacuum, but I like saving $100.00 more. In fact, our local Lexus dealer could not find a cause for our squealing brakes, (when backing up) which went away after they warmed up. I had not even mentioned it to Team One, but they checked it out, because they heard the noise. That shows me how concerned Team One is for doing the very best job at keeping my car roadworthy. Team One saved me a lot of money (hundreds of dollars) on a few overdue repairs I had been putting off, they also beat the local competition. Long story short, they are knowledgeable, conscientious, friendly, great customer service, and the best place to save me money. They have great prices on tires and batteries too. read more

Team One Automotive - Mechanicsburg, not only was able to issue my replacement windshield stickers in record time for me to get to work before 8:30 but answered a few questions the dealer I purchased it from could not. 5-10 minute process compared to what was stated at dealership 3-4 hours since their computers are slow. same computer Team One. Just amazing and excellent service read more

I brought my car here for an alignment. It took all day, and when I picked it up, I was charged an additional shop fee that I wasn't told about when I dropped it off. I paid $90 for the alignment. I looked at the paperwork to see that the alignment wasn't done with many of the parameters within the min & max requirements. The manager said it could have been done better-he would have it corrected for no charge. I even called the next morning to confirm with the manager that it would be no extra charge and he said yes. They had the car another day and told me I owed an additional $250 to have the alignment done. They gave me a guilt trip on how the mechanic wouldn't get paid for that day, and started pressuring me to pay. I will not go there again. read more

Last week my father and I brought our vehicles in to the Mechanicsburg shop for inspections. I have been bringing my car in for oil changes and inspections for about two years and had been please with Tim and the service so much that I had brought my husbands truck and now my father's as well. I was disappointed not to find Tim at the front desk but did not feel we would be treated differently by Ken. However, Ken called my father and said he needed some minor repairs, totally over $800. When my father hesitated at the price, Ken said he would take $200 off. He never did. Many of the repairs were not needed to pass inspection and the price they charged him was ridiculous for the work done. The next day I took my car in for inspections. Ken called and informed me that my car needed $1150 of work to pass inspection. When I said I would not be paying that, the price dropped $200. I said I would still not pay that and disputed the fact that the work even need done for the car to pass inspection. I told him I would not have Team One do any work and I would take it elsewhere. Then the price suddenly dropped to $500!!!!! I took my car to the Toyota dealership and the car needed $3 in repairs to pass inspection. A lug nut was missing. Ken had stated that my rear sway bar bushing needed replaced to pass inspection (orginially $1150) . I asked Toyota what their price would be for parts and labor, $90!!!!! Ken was making up prices to see how much he could squeeze us for and fabricating work that needed done. Whether this is their new business practice to rip off women and the elderly, or just Ken, it is deplorable, unethical and unlawful. Not only have they lost my business, my husband's, and my father's but I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the office of aging. read more

In dealing with various dealerships and small automotive businesses for over 30 years I have never been treated so poorly and basically ripped off as I was from this so called business. The story is too long to even type all I can say is that I have been trying to get the situation corrected for over six months and have received nothing more than more lies just like their shady advertising. They will not even contact me to correct the faulty breaks that they say they put in my car. They over charged me for every service they provided and told me I did not read the signs correctly even though they quoted me the prices off the signs verbally. So now I am out 200.00 and do not have working brakes. This was after filing a complaint with the BBB and they just lied to them as well. BEWARE and run from them.
