I bought an old, large, customized, camper van with high mileage at a low price that I knew needed some TLC. I intended to drive it cross country. I took a trial run to New England and I thought my transmission went. I had heard stories about Emory making quick fixes for minimal cost when people thought it would be many times that. Including campers with people stuck. While I'm broken down in New England, I'm already telling people this and if I make it back home, I'm taking it there. Their Camp Hill location is only a mile down the street from me. I made it back and it wasn't my transmission. It had a lot of issues and some things I didn't think they could fix but they did like my heating and AC. They were very friendly and even said one mechanic would be excited to work on that vehicle. They exceeded my expectations and I am very happy now. Unfortunately, we got cold weather and some other things came up so I may have missed my window of opportunity to drive cross country now. The real test will be when I do that and get back. Their work is guaranteed for a year and I even asked about if I would have an issue thousands of miles away but they had a plan for that too. My transmission went on my 2015 Nissan Altima right at 80,000 miles. I could not find anyone to fix it because it was "imported" or because it was a CVT transmission and "they "always go out." Reached Ken at Emory and we discussed how car acted and that I now had no gears. He offered to have the car towed at no expense to check it out first. Determined it was definitely the transmission and gave me an estimated cost. I was told a new Nissan transmission would be installed and the work would be completed in just over a week (it was around Thanksgiving). Turns out the car was finished two days early and a bit under the estimate. The car runs and shifts better than ever. I am so pleased!!
