I have a 1995 Ducati Supersport SP special edition that unfortunately I had an accident with and severely damaged the right side body panel. Ginter's was recommended by the service manager at Warhorse in Camp Hill so I felt they were reputable. I took the body panel to them in late November 2024 and Brian, the owner looked at it and said he can repair it but it would cost $800-900. I also asked if he could reproduce the special decals and he quoted a price of $300-400. These quotes seemed quite high and should have been a red flag to run away as I could have bought all new parts for less. I told Brian I would look for a used replacement panel and also research the special decal reproduction. I purchased a used panel for $250 that only needed minor repair and decals for about $100 and felt Ginter's should be able to finish the work reasonably. In late November I took the replacement part along with the left side panel and front small fairing so all the panels would be painted the same. Brian looked at the panels again and said he would give me an estimate in a few weeks as he was going on vacation. After not hearing from him I called him in about three weeks later. He said he was short staffed and would get back to me in a few weeks. I emphasized the need for an estimate. After no contact for several more weeks, I lost patience and went to the shop in mid April to pick up the parts. When I arrived I noticed Brian had an estimate in the box for over $2600!!! Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and expressed my displeasure to Brian, since it took nearly two months for him to look at the parts despite them being within arms length of his desk. A few days later I went to two reputable local body shops in Harrisburg. Both quotes were less than $900 for the same work that Ginter's was going to charge me $2600. It's obvious Brian tried to take advantage of me since he saw it was vintage Ducati and he saw an opportunity. I should have read the reviews before going there and checked the BBB rating. I later discovered he is not rated and had several customer complaints he failed to address. While my experience was frustrating it only cost time and not money. The next person may not be so fortunate. STAY AWAY FROM GINTER'S! read more

Unfortunately, I recommended this garage over the past few years (maybe longer). The quality of service, shady business practices (push for all cash transactions) and questionable ethics have forced my friends and I away. The owner takes full advantage of his customers . . I would steer clear of this garage and be sure to ask your insurance adjuster for their suggestion for auto body providers. My vehicle a Sierra 3500 8' bed 4" lifted nondully was struck by a car on the highway. They replaced the rear axle. They were supposed to paint the frame as an added service that I paid extra for. I had to fight with them because they never did the frame under the engine and the cab. it's still not done right and I got tired of verbally debating what was suppose to be coated, the "whole frame"! I was told my vehicle was done and to come pick it up. I get in the vehicle check engine light on, transmission light on, stability control light on. I refused to drive it. They said nothing was wrong, they got into the vehicle and said it wasn't like that earlier when we test drove it. Obviously I refused to take the vehicle. They had it another 2 Weeks and supposedly fixed everything right. My truck shakes and vibrates to this day whenever I drive over 30mph. Don't take your vehicles to this shop. I'm very disappointed. I'm taking it to another shop for them to look it over and to have it fixed right. I will update this thread with what GINTER'S didn't do correctly. read more

I don't even know where to begin. I had an insurance claim to repair some damage to my van from a painting contractor... I called about a dozen places trying to find someone who could repair the damage and sounded confident in their ability to do so... then I called Ginters... From the very first phone call with Frank I felt at ease and taken care of. White glove service comes to mind when I think of Frank and Brian and the team at Ginters. They took care of getting the insurance supplements approved, the rental car arranged (with on location pick up - can't get any easier than that!) and the repair was handled fabulously. We plan on having some work done on one of our other cars now because they just knocked our socks off.
